Empire Electrical Innovations were…

Empire Electrical Innovations were recommended to me by a friend who had a non-standard solar installation and was very pleased with the result. If you think your roof might not be suitable for solar, it is definitely worth dropping these guys a line to see what might be possible.

I originally only planned to put solar panels on the back roof, which gets most of the sun, as the front is north-east facing. However, the team recommended I consider using both sides. They provided two quotes—one for just the back, and another for the whole roof. The energy projection of the extra power generation from both roofs was simply too good to pass up, so in the end, I went for 21 panels, a battery, and an EV charger.

If you have considered solar in the past but didn't go ahead because the costs and power generation figures weren't convincing, I highly recommend getting a new quote. Panels are much cheaper now and way more efficient. The Empire Electrical team installed 530W bifacial panels on my house, which are incredibly sensitive to ambient light.

I am so glad we did both sides of the roof. Because the panels are so efficient, they generate a ton of power first thing in the morning. It is currently the end of May, and they start generating from 5 am. My 11kW battery is completely full before noon, and with the panels at the back, I am generating power until around 8 pm. I literally cannot use all the energy being generated during the week, so I am really looking forward to exporting back to the grid. On weekends, I use the excess to charge the car, which easily sees us through the week. I can't help but smile when driving past petrol stations and seeing the ever-increasing fuel prices!

The weather was great, so this is likely peak performance, but I suspect that even in the winter there will be decent power generated given the performance on some cloudy days. Plus, I can use the battery to charge from the grid when tariffs are cheap.

I would certainly recommend Empire Electrical Innovations as a tidy, reliable, safe pair of hands to design a premium system for your needs. They are obviously passionate about what they do and stayed fully engaged from start to finish. I really appreciate their patience in answering my many questions, as well as their suggestions to improve the installation from both a cosmetic and an efficiency point of view.

I truly feel they care about delivering a high-quality product and service.

Excellent Electrical Supplier

Ricki and the team were knowledgeable and clear about their proposal and what they could and could not achieve.

The communication was good throughout and each step of the installation was outlined and carried out with discussion as I requested.

They provided a good solution where other providers could not.

Great work

Used this company again and very happy with the work. Communication was clear throughout, the price was reasonable, and everything was completed to a good standard. Would happily use them again and recommend to others.

OHME EV charger

I recently had an OHME EV charger installed, and I am extremely pleased with both the product and the service Empire Electrical Innovations provided. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless. The installation team was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everything was set up properly and efficiently. They took the time to explain how the charger works, ensuring that I was comfortable with the system before they left.

Excellent service from Empire…

Excellent service from Empire Electrical Innovations. My EV charger point location is 30mts from our property and William attended and offered several options for the cabling. Top quality installation and also help with downloading and familiarisation with the OHME app. Cannot recommend them highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
