No results or support followed by abuse when asking for a refund
I tried this near the time that they launched - I would stay away from this.
The email copies were generic, and the personalization was nothing more then the generic "I'm inspired by your mission". The emails accounts were created on .shop .website, .online and .xyz domains. I did not see a single .com domain.
I signed up for 10000 emails for 99 per month, and from all the emails sent, I got only 1 auto reply.
I paused the campaign, but was still charged another $99 the next month even though no campaign was running. I tried to contact support both through the online form, no reply.
I emailed them directly asking for a refund and that's when Eric replied (4th of November) that he will do it and let me know.
On the 5th I followed up and there was no reply.
On the 7th I ended up booking a call as I was not getting any response that's when Eric emailed "We have issued a refund on your campaign this morning. Stripe says the turnaround time is 3-5 business days for it to be deposited."
On Nov 21st I followed up on email again as no deposit was made and this time asking for proof so I can share with my bank. No reply.
From 7th November till now (25th November) no refunds have been made nor has Eric replied.
After posting a review on Product Hunt - I received a reply that they'll "open a ticket and ask for proof" that was on 26th Nov. It's Dec 4th, and still no reply.
Update:
After posting this review Eric finally replied to my email and started personal attacks.
One of them being "You seem like you might have some personal emotional problems that are unrelated to your interaction with my business?"
and accusing that I'm looking for a refund by means of extortion. He asked me to provide proof that I wasn't refunded. Which I did, in forms off all the transactions from the date of charges till now.
He then accused that my banking app wasn't real.
Throughout all this - Eric from EmailFlow didn't provide any proof of the refund that I could share with my bank in case there was a transaction error.
Around the same time as his email - a review for my business appeared on ScamAdvisors, also accusing me of extortion. What's interesting about the review is that it used my full name, something that isn't available online - but is used in my billing details with EmailFlow.ai
All I was hoping for from EmailFlow.ai after asking for a refund was a transaction ID or a reference number to share with the bank, but ended up with radio silence until I post about them online, and then fake reviews and personal attacks..
Update #2:
Looks like EmailFlow replied to my review. Claiming that I'm from a "a competing company". Which is untrue. This also happened right after another attempted charge was made on my card. Despite being told that they've fixed it.
