I had been looking for ages for gym shorts and 3/4 length leggings but couldn't find anything suitable. Elverys had a great selection at a competitive price 👌

I was in your shop in Clonmel looking for a good pair of runners for marathon running . A male staff member went to get the sizes and styles I asked for but he simple plonked the boxes onto the couch beside me and returned to chat to his female colleagues . He didn’t follow up with me at all and a different member of staff ended up coming to help me instead. I bought an expensive pair of runners €220 after trying them on and walking around the store.
I tried them on again at home and walked around for about 2 minutes in them and discovered that the right shoe was a bit too tight for me.
I went back in the following morning to return the runners and look for the next size. The staff member that I asked checked for my size but returned and said no they didn’t have them. He did not suggest any alternative but then when I asked he said I could try order them at the register.
This is where my experience took quite a negative turn. When the female member of staff at the til looked at the runners she said quite accusingly “these have been worn !” I explained that yes I wore them in the shop and tried them again at home. I did see that there was some dust on the very bottom ( easily cleaned with a wipe)
I felt mortified and demeaned as I felt like I was being accused of something. I said that they just needed a wipe and she told me to take them home and clean them as she wouldn’t be able to sell them. The whole experience was embarrassing and just left me not wanting to return.

I wiped each shoe with a wipe and they were perfect after a 1 minute clean. I understand that items need to be in perfect condition but I honestly hadn’t thought these could be dirty . Perhaps there could be a packet of wipes in store for customers or staff to give runners a quick clean at the before returning

My husband went in later to return them as I didn’t want to go back. He was able to exchange them for my size in a different colour (this was not even offered to me early)

Overall I felt the floor staff had a lack of interest and enthusiasm while the lady at the cash register was rude.
I am a very regular customer. I always buy my children’s shoes in Elverys and myself and my husband run so we are constantly in and out getting running gear.
It is unfortunate that I feel I won’t want to return any time soon.

Second time I ordered something on sale but they didn’t have the stock. But they were go good at responding and remedying it that I was disappointed but happy they solved it.

Elverys online experience has consistently been dreadful.On 3 separate occasions I've ordered a number of pairs of trainers for the kids and each time theres been a pair they've been unable to fulfil.On each occasion I wasn't notified until 4 or 5 days after the order was placed and subsequently not refunded until 4 or 5 days after that.In contrast when I order from Lifestyle sports I get the order delivered the NEXT day!Lifestyles online operation is incredibly slick and Ive never not had an order fulfilled.Elverys store and staff in Dungarvan are excellent,but their Online presence is a shambles and this is the last time ill order from them.Dumbfoundingly they prompted this trust pilot review by sending me an email looking for one.

Product delivered on time and as described.

The service was very good however I was not happy with the number of emails urging me to buy the items following my first online search. I was also surprised to be charged 6€ for delivery - I posted the package onwards to a friend for a cost of 5€.

Great online services, nearly always have what I need in stock, delivery service is also excellent. Keep up the good work.
