Support is kind and helpful, had 2 Questions which both were answered easily and I also got a 50% code off my order. The Prices for the Minecraft Servers are good if you are on a budget, and the server was set up pretty fast!

DO NOT USE ELIXIRNODE
Firstly the support is horrendous, 90% of the time the support have no idea what they're talking about, and constantly blame you for issues on their servers, and if they do know what they are talking about you are going to have to wait 2 weeks just to hear back from them. Another issue is they over sell their servers causing random crashes that do not save player data which can cause random rollbacks. So unless you want to play on a server that crashes half the time I suggest going else where.

One of the worst hosting providers outhere
One of the worst hosting providers out there probably.I've purchased their premium package hoping that this will match my expectations.Before this i've used a totally free hosting service called aternos, i've used a tone of datapacks and plugins on it on couple of versions and i've never had a problem with it, the whole world file has around 400 mb(which is a lot for a minecraft world build by hand).Then i discovered elixir and gave it a try.The user experience was very bad, going into the server proprieties and changing from true to false and using FileZilla just to change the world data which was very dissapointing since a lot of free services offer this just with an upload icon in the settings.This was not a problem for me bacause i study computer science but many people may find this overwhelming. Bukkit/Spigot did not work att all, i could not start the server with it and tried everything, even upgrading it to the latest version.1.18.2 also hasnt worked and i needed to downgrade to 1.18.1.Vanilla did not work propertly either the server was constantly pinging and sometimes it let me join, sometimes it didnt.The have a sort of back up system whick cost 5 dollars/month, dont really get it how cause they most probabably save it on YOUR google drive for extra money.

TLDR: There are two possibilities of this review. 1. The user switched from aternos and could not handle the extra control that they now have due to getting a paid host, they expected the entire control panel to be exactly like aternos... 2. This is a malicious user just here to make a 1 star review to damage the company. Below I have broken down all their points and hopefully explained it in detail:
- You do not like the user experience because you had to change stuff from true to false in server properties? Do you mean the eula? If so then yes you have to agree to the EULA before starting your server, this is natural for any server.
- You had to use FileZilla to change world data? Not sure what this means but you can edit things on the File Manager without needing to use filezilla, as you can see from our https://elixirnode.com/help/elixirnode-game-panel-2-0/ (#3: FILE MANAGER) You can however use FileZilla also if you'd like especially for transferring large amount of files it would be useful, we have an article on the helpcenter for this as well.
- Bukkit/Spigot did not work at all? You made no tickets, most likely issue here might be using a very old spigot version without updating java version in startup. That's a common error but can be fixed in seconds, otherwise we'd need startup log to take a look.
- You said it let you joined sometimes, this means the server probably started up at some point so not sure how it wasn't working at all. But again without logs to look and further info it's not possible to understand your issues and you made no effort whatsoever to contact us.
- The backup system claim you made is a major lie, it CLEARLY states on the addon "OFF-SITE backup access" we take backups off-site, your purchasing of the addon makes them accessible to you on-demand. This is a market norm.
If you had just contacted us via https://elixirnode.com/support/ we would have explained everything to you in few mins it's just a matter of getting use to our panel and understanding how to get a Minecraft server going like having to agree to the EULA...
It's clear also that no effort was made to consult our helpcenter.
