We recently sent our 2 year old Rottweiler Koby to the team at Elite. He is completely new dog after his short stay with them, he now walks right next to me and is calm around my kids. He used to knock them over! Now finally our household is safe and kids love having Koby around. Great facility and a super nice team at Elite

This place is not as it appears. My dog came home extremely unwell , hadn’t eaten for a few days , with no added training . Due to a call from the premises on the 9th day , I requested she be removed and returned back home .
She wouldn’t eat her normal favourites and appeared rather on the slim size . A visit to the vet resulted in being prescribed antidepressants as she was showing several signs of being traumatised.
Please research this place and don’t be confused with a business of a similar name in the same suburb. My dog is slowly returning to a place of health , however still is traumatised.
After researching post this experience, I regretfully wish I had researched a lot more and not been convinced by the smooth talking salesman. I don’t think I will ever be able to trust another dog training and boarding facility.

We recently booked our dog in at Elite Performance K9 for a 2 week training.

Whilst our dog came back alive, shes not the same and not in a good way.

We sent our small dog to this facility after a full vet check just two days prior – she was given a clean bill of health and was in great condition. Unfortunately, she came back completely different and very upsetting.

The idea of door-to-door pickup sounded convenient at first, but in hindsight, it feels like it may have been used to prevent owners from seeing the actual facility. Our dog returned after a week dehydrated, noticeably underweight, and very anxious. Her behaviour had regressed significantly – she was no longer eating her normal food, had to be hand-fed again, was toileting inside, and was extremely timid, often hiding between our legs. She has since been diagnosed with anxiety by our vet and is now on medication.
Our noted a significant change in her and that she had been traumatised.

We were told we’d receive daily updates and photos, but only got a couple of images on Monday and Thursday – no videos, no clear proof of her sleeping conditions, and no indication that our detailed routine was followed. We were not informed she had stopped eating for 4 days until day 7 or so which was incredibly distressing to learn after the fact. She’d been there a week so if this was fretting, she would have not eaten earlier.

The woman who picked her up was lovely and reassured us our dog would be well cared for. To be fair, she’s not the owner and doesn’t seem to be present daily.
When we raised our concerns after pick-up, the person we spoke to on the phone was dismissive and lacked empathy, offering little explanation for what had happened.

Whilst they offered prior to even asking a full 2 week credit thinking that would keep us quiet, we didnt accept.

This business promotes itself as a leading training facility, but our experience did not reflect that standard. We have requested a refund and are still waiting on a response. Our vet has noted the clear decline in her health and behaviour since returning.

This was a heartbreaking experience.
