We were recommended Elgar by an architect and I have to say the design process was absolutely brilliant. Faye is the most patient person I’ve ever met, (I must have changed and tweaked things 1,000 times and Faye didn’t flinch once!). She also has a genuine talent for interior design and functional details. Our fitter Keith was also incredible, taking on the building work and fit of the kitchen. Our house is old and threw some genuine really tough curve balls at Keith who was prepared to adapt and work with whatever was thrown at him. He also takes genuine care and has lots of experience when it comes to practical solutions for challenges. The end product is a kitchen which could have been featured in a magazine. The aftercare from Elgar has also been excellent dealing with some issues relating to the painted finish on the cabinets which do chip quite easily (the downside of a matte finish). Having compared Elgar to Wren, the cost was actually no different in reality, and Elgar could provide more flexible and custom options with cabinets under our induction hob and on our peninsula, along with far better customer service. Using a fitter who Elgar recommended for the building work made the coordination of all the work much easier too. I would absolutely use them again.

From our very first visit to meet the Team with Sarah designing & then right through to the fitting with Dan & Darren we have been so impressed by the professionalism & expertise of Elgar Kitchens. We had our own ideas of the kitchen (months in the planning) & Sarah happily accommodated those & improved on them along with Lisa's expert input! The finished kitchen is wonderful & meets all our expectations & more. Everyone who sees it loves it, as do we & we have already recommended Elgar Kitchens to many people. To some the kitchen is very traditional (oak shaker style & brass knobs & tap) but with clean lines & a gorgeous Dekton worktop looks bright in our new extension. One of the best decisions was to sacrifice the gas hob & my 20 pans for a sleek induction hob! (Thank you Lisa!)

Charlie came to do the survey and he included every thing we asked for. They recommended a fitter Sam Beardsley who was very quick and efficient. So all in all a very stressfree experience.Thank you to all the Elgar team. We do love our new Kitchen.

Charlie was very patient and worked with us to get the design that we wanted (an exact replica of what we already had that worked for us) rather than something he might have wanted to design! We had our own fitter and Elgar liaised with him before and during the fit. A few problems but always pleasantly ironed out by the team (mostly Tracy). I am pleased with the overall look of the kitchen but would never choose a handless design again - cupboard space is restricted and the doors show every fingerprint and drip - everyday is a cleaning day.

We were recommended by a friend to Elgar Kitchens. Their professional, friendly and easy going approach was most impressive giving us trust and confidence in the whole process. Design ideas aplenty and budget met. Dan the fitter was a pleasure to work with, his skill and knowledge second to none. Our finished kitchen and utility is beautiful, we are over the moon with both. We found the event very informative and showed how the wide range of equipment can be used to maximum benefit in the kitchen. All delivered in a low key way without over emphasising " sales talk". As good as " try before you buy" and helped us to decide what would be practical for us to consider.

The minute we walked into the Elgar kitchen showroom we knew we would be using them. Wonderful relaxed greeting and loads of time spent walking us round the displays and explaining each system.

We are so pleased with our new kitchen from Elgar. From day one they were attentive and thoughtful, the design process was well thought through and used our space in the best possible way.
Everyone we worked with was so friendly and professional too. They were patient and supportive with any delays to our build and were so flexible making changes and adaptations to our kitchen throughout the process, even right at the end.

From the moment we walked into the showroom until completion, we have had nothing but the very best service from Elgar Kitchen.
With help from Paul Bradbury, the designer allocated to us, we choose the units and accessories. We changed our minds on several occasions before we got it right but this was never a problem. It was very easy to communicate with Paul, he followed up all our queries and we had very productive meetings with him.
Paul suggested for Dan, the owner of ‘Consider it Dunn’ to fit the kitchen, he was highly recommended.
Well, if only all workmen worked like that. Every day he arrived on time, he, and the whole team, the plasterer, electricians and his helper worked non-stop, they cleaned up after themselves constantly and they all did an absolutely excellent job.
Elgar booked Dan for two weeks, starting on a Monday, but within two hours he had the old kitchen out, he finished on the Thursday, the electricians finished their jobs on the Friday afternoon, none of them leaving no mess for us to clean up at all.
There were a few issues with the units, which Elgar remedied without any problem at all. When we asked if we could have more shelves for the cupboard, these were organised immediately.
From this personal experience, we have not hesitation to recommend Elgar Kitchens and Dan to anyone looking to improve their kitchens.
Everyone we have been in contact with, from the staff at Elgar to the kitchen fitters, are a credit to the company and can all be very proud of their achievements.

From the moment I left the amazing showroom in Hallow, I knew I had to get Lisa and her Team on board with my first ever building project!

Throughout the whole process I could not fault the guys at Elgar Kitchens. Their attention to detail was second to none and they were all incredibly passionate about me having the perfect kitchen and they went the extra mile to ensure this was achieved!

Faye, my kitchen designer, in particular was absolutely superb! She made the whole process easy, discussing my requirements for the space being knocked about in my Victorian house. She listened to my needs and talked me through and demonstrated the complete range of fitments and appliances available on my first, and several subsequent visits. Faye’s expertise and design knowledge was second to none and nothing was too much trouble for her! She redesigned my kitchen plans several times until I had got the kitchen design I was 100% happy with! The many computer CAD images she completed throughout the journey, also really gave me an idea of what to expect.

However, the finished bespoke kitchen I’ve now got far exceeds my expectations by miles! Faye excelled on the brief, her recommendations were spot on, from the design to the appliances, especially the inducted extractor in my NEFF hob which she willingly demonstrated in the showroom on one visit.

The kitchen is of the highest quality and was very reasonably priced. My builder was employed to project manage the whole process and fit the Elgar kitchen. The kitchen was delivered well within time and the communication between Elgar and my builder was consistently good.

I did experience a few snags along the way like almost any household project but they were always dealt with immediately and effectively by Lisa and her professional team.

I am absolutely delighted with the ‘dream kitchen’ I now have and enjoy, and it is greatly admired by all who visit!

I full heartedly, 100%, have no hesitation in recommending Elgar Kitchens to anyone looking for a stylish, distinctive, well-designed, bespoke kitchen!

So pleased with our new kitchen from Elgar. Heather was very helpful in our decision making on what at times can be a bewildering range of options and samples. She listened to what we wanted and advised and produced the ideal layout and units. Sam was outstanding as a fitter and accommodated all the glitches that can occur during a kitchen fit. Nothing appeared to be a problem for him - amazing! Alex, the electrician, was excellent and worked well with Sam. A couple of issues that occurred along the way were settled to our complete satisfaction. Everyone at Elgar we dealt with was helpful, pleasant and did what they said they would do. We would happily recommend Elgar to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

A personal service from start to finish… Nothing is too much trouble all the staff are totally professional and courteous from the time you step through the showroom door.

The show room is a must to visit if you are thinking of purchasing a new kitchen there is a fast choice and all the staff are only to willing to help the customer navigate their way.

There is no hard sell and you can take
as long as you like choosing enjoying a complimentary coffee and biscuits whilst doing so.

After being recommended to use Elgar Kitchens by our builder, our design process began in October at the friendly showroom in Hallow with great coffee! Excellent quality of units, doors and range of fittings, together with the time taken by designer Sam, and the team’s overall attention to detail has produced a beautiful kitchen for our Grade 2 listed property which is now complete - we are very pleased.
