Avoid Electron Cycles at all costs. They sold me a controller advertised as new but it arrived used and unsafe — in fact, it was a serious fire hazard. We are lucky our home didn’t burn down because of their negligence.
This company is completely unprofessional. They lied about the item’s condition, posted it late, and when I reported the fault, they refused to refund me. I had to fight through PayPal Buyer Protection to finally get my money back — without PayPal I would probably still be chasing them. Even then, they dragged the process out for nearly a month and caused unnecessary stress.
Electron Cycles clearly ignore consumer regulations, show no respect for customers, and cannot be trusted. I’ve read their responses to other unhappy customers — shady excuses every time — and I expect they’ll try the same here. Do not believe them.
I can prove everything with emails, photos, and videos, so there is no doubt about how badly they treated me.
If you value your money and your safety, stay far away from Electron Cycles.

Likes to air me off and doesn’t help when I have an issue with my battery

Owner trying to charge for personal adverts on his public Facebook group. Wants to charge to vet members but isn’t taking any responsibility after. Numerous members called him out but comments turned off and people banned from the group.
Proper shady.

I wish I could rate the company zero stars. Do not buy from this cowboy! FRANCIS can not and will not ever be able to hold an adult conversation. He hangs up the phone as soon as you have something opposing to say, he cannot be wrong. Very arrogant and disrespectful, save your money and go else where. His partner Deborah is just as bad, can't hold a conversation to save her life then hands the phone to Francis as soon as he wants to chirp up then hangs up the second you respond. The products are not safe, do not trust them.

Worst company in Uk. The main engineer Francis doesnt have any understanding about costumer services. Very ignorant. They talk to you very nice until you place your order
Once your not working items arrive. They will ignore you for any assistance. And if something is wrong. You will be blamed for their mistakes. Because of them 2 of my motors got broken. Never use them !

Awful company ( Francis), got sold a bac4000 and 72v for sur ron installed by a certified 3rd party. from day one I knew something was wrong so I got in touch (directly because the person who fitted is 2:30 hours from me) to try to sort it out several times only to be greeted with extreme rudeness and aggressively, messed me about several saying it was my throttle that was faulty, so I bought a new throttle but the problem persisted, then said must be the loom, changed the loom, still the same. Until finally after a month after of being talked down over the phone several times, Francis finally admitted the controller was faulty, so it got replaced.
Then was advised by Francis to change the throttle to a domino throttle to sort out the lag on the acceleration, so I bought one and fitted it (keep in mind that you need to cut the wire on the stock throttle making unusable), then I politely send an email saying that I fitted it and it was ready to be calibrated. After 2 days without a reply I decided to txt asking if they got my emails? Only to receive a txt back saying that it would be a fee of £66 and he could only do it on the 19th of September as they were closed till then, which I know that it’s not true because on the email that he previously sent me, clearly states that they will be on anual leave from the 3rd to the 19th of September, fyi today is the 30th of August.
And as if that wasn’t enough, on the same txt he sends me a link to pay for the display I return saying that I prised it open and damaged it, only to realised a couple of txt later that someone on his staff gave him the wrong display and that my one was in perfect condition.
You would think that after all of this he would be apologetic and try to sort it! But no! I called back to get my bike running and again I was greeted with extreme rudeness and talking over me and ultimately hanging up in my face and blocking my number! I guess it’s time to get trading standards involved, it’s impossible to deal with these kind of people.
So over a month, 3k and 2 throttles later I still can’t ride my bike! Amazing
Also the photos on the website show the yellow connector for the regen brake, but what you get is the cheap and older one that doesn’t come with it.
!!! STAY AWAY !!!

Perfect Experience

I bought a 52v 19.5ah battery recently.
It has totally transformed my BBSHD from really good to really really incredible.

Francis explained to me that their batteries are made from high quality cells and high quality build processes.

The difference from the 48v cheap battery that came with the kit I bought from China is vast .
