16L mini cooler
Bought a 16L mini cooler. It barely runs and when on max mode, makes an horrendous noise (fan).
Called EM. They insist they don't deal with orders or anything on phone. I spoke to a woman eventually it in some sort of department called Joanne (don't think they are in this country - so what's new?)
She wouldn't give me a chance to explain the full situation to her and constantly spoke over me and wondered why I shouted for her to let me speak - she still wouldn't let me so I ended up swearing and putting the phone down on her. I tried calling again 5 minutes later to see if someone else answered but it was her again - seems she's the only one available to take calls. She's extremely rude, won't give you a chance to explain the situation for constantly interrupting you and they wonder why you swear and hang up when they are rude to you first!!! £57.00 down the drain because as I tried to explain, I need to return this item as it's not functioning correctly and she wouldn't give me a chance to answer any questions she asked about the situation without being rude!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ,- IF YOU DO, ITS AT YOUR OWN RIST OF LOSING £££'s

I had to edit quite a bit of information out of this review due to the character limit. If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does.
First and foremost, this should be a lesson to any company to seriously consider who is at the forefront of the customer service team and responding to issues like mine, as I’m fairly certain if the person I was initially dealing with was competent at customer service and professional, most, if not all of the failings wouldn’t have happened.
I am a verified buyer of 2 air conditioning units sold by this company on Amazon.
This company will NOT support you if there are problems UNTIL the absolute last moment. For me, despite calling 3 times and asking for a manager over several days, it wasn’t until I reported this company to the fraud team (and told the person I’d been dealing with) that I finally had a helpful manager that actually sent more than a few words, and acknowledged issues, and helped in alleviating some of the problems. I have experienced first hand how difficult and dismissive they can be, very poor professionalism, communication, and general care.
I had one of the Emtronics 9000 BTU air conditioners which I purchased through Amazon. I was quite impressed, though around a year later, it started kicking out warm air constantly and even troubleshooting in the instructions didn’t work. I emailed the company, they just told me to go through Amazon. Amazon refunded me.
I then wanted to give Emtronics another chance, and support a local UK business rather than some chinese company. I purchased with the refund; their 12,000 BTU model. When this arrived, it didn’t work.
Ever since dealing with the company about this, it has screamed unprofessionalism and lack of care. It seems like they want to make it as hard as possible to aid in the customer returning a faulty product because they don’t want to have to refund. Maybe if they were fast to help and respond, customers would maybe give them another chance.
My experience was that bad, I would rather never have air conditioning ever again and suffer, than to give them my custom, because I’d have zero confidence in them.
The lady that messages on Amazon called Charlene, I don’t think she belongs in customer service at all. She basically told me that just because she has a similar unit and hers works fine,
she couldn’t understand why mine isn’t working. I’ve never had the misfortune of dealing with someone so inept and seemingly uneducated to the point they can’t grasp a conversation, even where the customer is basically doing half of their job for them, and trying to ensure they know when a collection is coming and being booked. And even then, she went on to book a collection for the opposite day to that requested.
They eventually sorted out a DPD collection for me, unfortunately for me DPD failed to find my address and told me I need to get the seller to reschedule all over again. She provided no tracking number, and I called DPD and gave my post code and then they said nothing was ever booked, so they lied about this, or changed it again without informing me. Terrible communication.
Then I spent £40 of my own money to send it to them with a Courier under Amazon management’s own advice.
When I thought things were finally getting on to being sorted, as I expected UPS to deliver it to them on 15th August, the courier said they weren’t able to deliver, then management said the driver informed them that there is nobody at the address given; as in, no company there at all, they had moved on.
Leading me to believe that it was a scam. I later found out that the company had just moved (although still bizarre not to update this when Amazon had their old address down for returns.) I reported them to action fraud due to this, because of what I’d experienced and the delays in communication I had with Charlene.
In the end, I was helped by a manager called Reni, and all due respect; they did help to get this sorted, and they contacted UPS on my behalf and got the package rerouted to their actual return address.

Don’t buy from this Company. Bought some dipping chocolate advertised for cake pop dipping. Followed instruction's and it just turned into a gooey thick mess.
Emailed them via Amazon and got a reply basically saying we can’t have followed instructions. I replied to there response but of course no further reply or refund

Ordered a microwave on Friday 2/2/2024 estimated delivery was 6/2/2024 actually arrived on 4/2/2024. Had to put a review as there was so many negative reviews on Trustpilot.

AVOID buying from this seller. Bought this unit through the B&Q website and it came with a crack on the front, damaged. Contacted them and was told I can return this for free, and once collected they will send me a new one. However, it took over a week for them to receive the item and i was told i had to ring every day to check if theyve received it. after numerous calls I was sent a new unit. This was after ten days of waiting for a new replacement.
The replacement that was sent was again damaged, the box was damaged, cracked, plug damaged, remote and dirty. I asked for this to be collected once again and a new box / packaging to be sent out. This again took a week for a new box to arrive after chasing numerous times.
Asked for a manager to call me, was told manger will call me in a few hours. Asked again throughout the week and they never did. No signs of managers, the worst customer service ive ever received. Stay away from any products.

We bought an air fryer from Electric Mania about 6 months ago, which had worked perfectly until last week. I returned the item on Tuesday 9th Jan and to my amazement I received an email Thursday 11th informing me that a replacement was being despatched to me which arrived this morning.
I cannot fault Electric Mania for the customer service, this is certainly worth 5*.
Excellent customer srvice
I was told by the courier company that our order was delivered at 18.10 No one knocked at the door so went outside at 18. 12 to look for it - nothing! Next morning after looking around in daylight, phoned customer services and was asked if I would just check with neighbours first, but in the meantime they would look into non- delivery at their end. Was in touch again shortly after for them to say so sorry that the order had gone astray and that they would have another one sent out immediately with a different courier company. They were as good as their word, and goods arrived promptly less than 36 hours after original order should have been delivered. Can't praise them highly enough.

Ï purchased a Sharp microwave oven from this fraudulent company on Ebay . It was advertised as new , but it turned out to be a counterfeit product without a model number. As a result of this , Sharp was unable to register the warranty. I will definitely be reporting this unacceptable fraudulent activity to Trading Standards and the police. Appalling and shameful!!!!

I bought an Emtronics Air Fryer last September through EBAY and it stopped working yesterday, I use it all the time I have no oven it was £160 last year when you couldnt get them anywhere. They are now £99.99. Today I have emailed them through email and direct to the Website and no repsonse. I have now been on the phone for 1 hour 20 minutes so had to give in now, this is disgusting Customer Service!!
28/6/23 UPDATE I have returned the Airfryer to them stating I want a refund because I have purchased another one from a reputable company and advised I would like a refund, I have been completely ignored and received a replacement air fryer today so now I have 2 - appalling Customer Service!!!

Totally disgusted with your service, we purchased an air fryer from you in October 2022 at £279.95 model was an EMtronics EMDAF9LD+ 1750W, and you have replaced it with an EMTronics EMAFDD9LSL 9L at the price of £139.99, telling my partner that that is an upgrade from the original one purchased, my partner will be emailing you yet again to replace, for an Air Fryer of similar value to the one originally purchased, or arrange for a refund and return of the replacement we have received today, it's still boxed unopened.

Double air fryer - perfect addition!
I have recently purchased a double airfyer from Electric Mania and have used it numerous times since receiving it!
Its the perfect size for a family and will be using it as my main source of cooking due to its speed and convenience!
The food is crispy when needs to be and it cooks evenly.
I even dehydrated a banana - just to see what it was like - it was really good but does take some time to do...
Great service from ordering to delivery.

We ordered aa Air fryer from them, received it quickly, the box ripped in 3 places, and a 1.5 inch cracked on top of the machine. Called to report it, told need to email them. They are a nightmare to deal with, have to wait 24 hours between each response. Never will use them again. Don't believe the 5 star reviews, they dont publish the negative ones.

I ordered a 12volt motorhome tv for my campervan. i was informed by my tv engineer who was fitting it into the motor home that the brand new tv was defective and needed to be replaced the input coaxial port being loose. I contacted the manufacturer westinghouse who assured me that if i got in touch with the retailer (electric mania) the tv would be replaced. this now became urgent because i was going on holiday in camper shortly. i sent electric mania an email but my reply was a request for a picture of what??? a tv or an arial connection?? how stupid
i contacted them by phone and they assured me they would get a replacement sent before i went on holiday in 4 days time. Instead i recieved an empty box to send the defective tv back so they can repair it. I dont want a repaired tv . I want a new perfect tv which i have paid for. I asked to speak to a manager but was refused. clearly i will now not recieve my tv before i go on holiday
this company does not seem to understand that it is the responsibility of the retailer BY LAW to ensure sold products are of merchantable standard.
avoid this company they have ruined my holiday by having no interest in good customer service. in future i will order from amazon
