Communications were very good and they were very responsive. The windows themselves look great and the quality of the product excellent. We are really pleased, particularly as it wasn’t entirely straightforward. We had two arched windows on the gable of the house replaced with double glazed privacy glass. The painter also deserves a mention as he finished the painting of the sash and case timber windows and was very particular. Very happy overall and would certainly use them again.

Before our recently completed window replacement project, our traditional Edinburgh home had only old single glazed windows upstairs. The old sash and case frames were draughty. This was our second window installation with Eco Sash & Case to complete 8 double glazed window replacements and they have been a pleasure to work with. The work all went smoothly and both the joinery and painting teams were very neat and tidy as well as efficient/professional and very pleasant to deal with. Listed building consent was part of the package and my early Victorian main door flat now has new double-glazed & astragalled windows which look excellent. Communication with the Office was good and proposed dates were met. Very satisfied customer.

The company offered a competitive price for upgrading my single glazed sash and case bedroom windows to acoustic glazing. Unlike competitors, Eco advised that we could retain the current frame and fit acoustic glass - other companies suggested I would need to get a completely new frame, which was more expensive. Communication from the admin team was good throughout, although there was a delay of a few weeks over the course of the project due to other works overrunning, which was a bit disappointing. The installation team was great, arriving on time and efficient. I had to ask the painting team to come back to fix a couple of snagging issues which, to be fair to them, they did the very next day. The glass perhaps doesn’t block out quite as much noise as I’d have liked, but I think that’s mainly due to the materials/design of sash and case - the windows do look great, though. Overall I’m pretty happy with the service I received.

We have used Eco Sash and Case to refurbish several windows in our 1880s house and will definitely use them again as we continue maintaining and renovating.

Eco Sash & Case were by far the most responsive company I encountered when seeking quotes, and that attention to service continued through to job complete. They gave good advice on different options, dealt with all the administrative hassle involved with getting building consents and provided a very high quality product and installation. Our requirement was to double-glaze five existing sash windows in a mid-nineteenth century building. We chose Eco Sash and Case because they were able to reglaze the existing sashes. On inspection, they also agreed that the existing draught-proofing did not require renewing and that only the sashes themselves would need repainting, which led to a substantial reduction in the cost of the work.
Throughout the project, everyone we had dealings with proved both competent and pleasant. People arrived when they said they would, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up well at the end of the day. We are very satisfied with the end result, and would recommend this company without hesitation.

I am delighted with the double glazing and paintwork. I was able to reuse my original frames. Not only was the work done earlier than expected, but it was a most reasonable estimate, done to a high standard, and, last but not least, done by excellent installers/painters. They were considerate, helpful and pleasant to have around the house, which counts for a lot when the work pervades every space! Clearing up was really thorough and thus it is easy to move everything back where it belongs.
It was most welcome to have prompt communication and friendly replies to my queries.
