Overall a quick experience. I purchased a cat litter robot from the company, which is a little cheaper than other retailers. As a previous owner of a little robot from another company, I had certain expectations. The product was delivered with a fault (dodgy motor, and a bend guidewheel), which I reported within an hour of receiving it. The company responded but unfortunately tried to direct me to the maker of the product - Should really have been dealt by the, as its a new product, and should not be sent to the manufacturer - After no response in 48 hours from the company (turns out they were on a national holiday) I enacted my rights for a 14 days return, they honoured this, and picked up the product the same day, and I got my refund via PayPal today as well. Overall the experience with the Ecodiervoeding was good, it would have been nice not to have had to contact the manufacturer for a brand new product (which legally I don't have to do)
I also got the feeling from one of the call centre staff that they were doing me a favour by looking into the fault of a new product. This is down to the retailer, not you to prove there is a fault especially within the first couple of weeks, otherwise, the rest of the staff were polite, quick, and efficient. Because of the staff member, they get 4 stars instead of 5. I will come back to this company in the future, and would recommend tho to anyone in the future to know your consumer rights before you start a returns process.
