Not impressed with the supporting services regarding my account block & a friend used my address that affects my account now. They requested all documents like you are going to UK border or applying for British citizenship. I gave all the details and Easy Live Auction services answer irresponsibly that they are still unable to confirm it is not me?! And now they ask me to ask my friend to give all documents to check . It is absurd!!! I have to give up as it is such a wasting time to deal with ‘machine’ style support. There are so many platforms I can use or join the auction directly.

After using Easy live for many years I had a major problem with Halfway Auctions after bidding I had an accident spending 2 weeks in hospital with metal work fitted, on my return I found that rather than take the payment from my registered card the auction house had barred me from bidding with all auction houses on Easy live. I contacted Easy live after explaining to Halfway Auctions what had happened but they weren't interested, I was told by Easy live they couldn't do anything and it had to be the auction house to lift the ban. It is now over a year and still the ban continues and to add insult to injury Halfway Auctions have emailed today stating they are putting their prices up, yet they have barred me from every auction house via Easy live as they don't want to 'upset' Halfway Auctions. If I could give these companies 0 stars I would, I now only deal with reputable auctions houses independently without paying Easy live fees, they take money and do nothing to help auction bidders/buyers.

As with other people, service was awful, I was misled by the auction house and ended up paying a large amount through easylive on a lot that is worth pennies.

I am also extremely suspicious about the pattern the bids followed, I suspect I was bumped up to the maximum bid I had logged, though I cannot prove this.

When I indicated my unhappiness at this experience and asked to return the lot for a refund, the lack of co-operation was remarkable. easylive do nothing. Auction houses stand and fall by the quality of their descriptions as inaccurate descriptions can cost you a fortune. The auction I suffered under was unco-operative, extremely dishonest and misleading. Stacey's in Chelmsford Essex. They are charlatans, avoid at all costs.

lot of ducking and diving with easylive say the 10p is not charged but its on my statemnent as charged

No Support agenst Ghost bidding with the Auctions they Support , and 10 PENCE Charge ? .

If you have a problem with anything they will not do anything, they just blame the auction house and tell you to take it up with them.
Your better off contacting the auction house, finding out their commission and postage and packaging (the new scam) and bidding with them

Buyer beware that they are not honest. I won and took screenshot of that as a record but when I went to pay and collect, that item wasn't in my invoice! They said another ebuyer won with the exact amount (not higher)!
By reading other people reviews,it sounds like simmilar situation happened to others!!!
I did research and found out ,there is no other ebuye, it's Easylife itself! Shame on you

This happened to me too at a Jones and Jacob sale on 13th March. EasyLive say that they merely provide the software and it is up to the auctioneer to decide which bids to accept. Since I was accepted as a bidder via EasyLive by the auction house, and paid the £3.00 fee, there was in effect a contract between us that was not honoured. Buyer beware!

Good overall service

The site said I had won but when I asked the auction house where my invoice was they said another Easylive bidder had won, this appears to be a common issue with their system looking at the reviews.

They have no interest in the buyer wat a great opportunity for a decent company to take over from this bunch of cowboys

I would never recommend this bunch of thieves.
I have been using online auctions for many years so very aware of the processes. Easy Live Auctions have an issue with their system whereby I was charged 3 pound for registering to bid. They charged me some 14 or 15 times for auction houses and items was I was not even looking at. When approached, their best answer was my "password was probably hacked and that I should change it".
I have placed the issue in the hands of my bank and to date one refund has been awarded. Several of the auction houses have been contacted directly and most state they have issues with Easy Live Auctions, the main one being Easy Live Auction complete lack of interest and service when things go wrong.
I would strongly suggest anyone receiving charges from Easy Live Auctions, be checked regularly, BUT best suggestion, deal directly with auction houses. They have their name and reputation at heart. Again I think ELA are a bunch of thieves.

I have used Easylive auctions over a number of years for several different auction houses and all seemed well.

However, it was a completely different story when I encountered an issue with an auctions house failing to comply with the terms and conditions and payment. When I highlighted these issues to Easylive, they were not interested at all. I thought it strange that such a well know auction platform had no controls, standards or penalties to deter auctioneers from behaving in such a dreadful and unprofessional manner. I am still struggling to understand why Easylive are not concerned about protecting their reputation by letting contractors devalue their business.

What a shame, but it is clear from the emails I have received that Easylive are not actually bothered in the slightest about the end users experience or holding auction houses to account for their failings when using their platform. Such a shame.

I have no problem with easy live itself.It is the varying cost of packing and shipping.Its quite often fine when the auction house itself does it only one horror story there where they wanted to charge over £500 packing & shipping for one auction granted there were a few lots but most were still in boxes etc.
I have just been charged £250 for packing & shipping of 6 lots which consisted of
Box Of about 20 small fairlings
1 teddy bear
2 x pairs of figurines
I x figurine
and 1 two tier cake plate which all dismantled
bill of goods less than £80 total
BARGAIN
But then £250 shipping by an outside firm ( name given to me by auction house )
No longer profit definite loss for me.
Maybe easy live should vet them.

Very disappointed and like other reviewers looks like I won an item , received the Green light showing auction had ended. Travelled a fair way to collect the item only to be told someone else had won item and picked it up. Not blaming the auction house , this seems to be a recurring problem with Easy Live and you have been advised accordingly that it may happen to you.

Customer service bordering on non-existent. SLOW response to questions, then a difficulty on their part to actually answer the question/problem being put to them. Site bidding VERY hit & miss - as with other reviewers, VERY common to be the highest bidder on a lot, to be then told that you didn't win it....this has happened SEVERAL times in less than a 12 month period - far too often to be anything other than a deliberate system default/glitch. Raised the issue of some auction houses deliberately selling fake and counterfeit goods, or misrepresenting makes/brands; they couldn't care less - Sale of Goods Act not apply to auction sales? What about Fraud?? ...apparently not....

BEWARE!!.. this company will not send items after you pay, the auction will send e-mails saying the item will be sent out and will offer to repay but never will. Its all a con!! Easylive will ignore you if you try to complain they don't care they only want their money..

I was blocked by an Auctioneer after I sussed they were bumping up the bids when there was no real bidder. The Auctioneer Sound Gas in this case put the block and are now not communicating with me. This meant my Easy Live account no longer got auto approvals and no auction house has approved my furture auction participation requests. EasyLive said there was nothing they could do even though its their portAL MANAGING THE BLOCK. i LEFT THEM IMMEDIATELY SINCE MY ACCOUNT WAS USELESS. WHAT A BUNCH OF CHARLATANS!

Easylive are a webhosting service only. They are not at all interested in whether the auction house you deal with is trustworthy. Quite simply they do nothing more and nothing less than act as your online paddle.

Easy to use and covering a wide range of antiques and collectables. The choice for free registration against a pre paid fee is very useful when making more expensive purchases. Secure and straightforward invoicing makes this my go to choice for online bidding
