We ordered 2 items that were confirmed in stock via phone call to a representative. Received a phone call to confirm the shipping address a day later. Less than an hour after that received an email stating our order was cancelled because both of the items were damaged in their warehouse. When we asked for pictures of the damage to see if we were still interested in the items, we received an email stating they couldn't send pictures because they dispose of damaged items right away. We are talking about $10,000 worth of equipment, so it is our belief that they did not have the items in the first place, even though we took pains to confirm the stock was physically available. Buyer beware.
received expired material outside factory spec
I ordered a specific construction product from their website manufactured by Henkel (OSI quad max). I received a different product when I ordered a specific SKU (Henkel Loctite Caulk, same color). I then called the manufacturer and they verified that East Coast Hardware had apparently acquired an expired, liquidated stock that was outside its usability window, and it was being sold as expired. I received a refund, but I wouldn't trust a thing that this company sells based on my experience.

This company made a mistake with my online purchase, then was unwilling to take responsibility or put any effort into remedying the problem. The result was that the wrong product shipped even after immediate cancellation. I was then forced to pay return shipping. Further, they even charged an additional fee which I could not get an answer for since they were unreachable and did not respond to emails. Since I received a partial refund PayPal would not allow a case to be filed.

No one has emailed or called. I did get a refund without knowing (stumbled across looking for phone #) but, I paid 1-2-day-delivery for a reason. At least they should have communicated that I will not receive the other piece that I really need.

Horrible service. They had my address and billing address, same, and sent the package to a completely different address. I called Fed Ex to locate the package. I had to wait a week to get it because the wrong recipient gave it to a friend who works to return it. One of the products sent was wrong. The other products suck and I wish to return them. Cannot get anyone on the phone, ever. Their email system is ridiculous and I don't think they even care or read the emails properly, and I want to return much of my purchase, and the return function on the website doesn't work. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They suck.

I purchased the Power Air Fryer from them through Walmart's site. This East Coast Hardware sent me the small, less expensive and cheaper version called Pro instead of Oven which is valued at 40% less. I called Walmart to complain and they said I has to Call ECH. I called Saturday. Their phone system answers and tells me what to push to get to customer service. I do all that. It has me on hold and tells me I am the next customer in line. After about 20 minutes I look online and find out their company is CLOSED on weekends. Why doesn't the phone system say that? Why do they make it seem they are open and keep people on hold needlessly. I then called again Monday (today) morning. The phone rang once and went to a busy signal. I tried for about an hour to get through. FINALLY - got through.. again the same phone system, this time however it give me hold waiting time expectations. Says I am #2 in line, expected hold time is 1 minute. About a minute later, I am #2 on hold, expect wait time 2 minutes. This went on and on. I actually made 3 other phone calls while on hold. After 20 minutes I was still on hold. Number 2 in line, expected wait time 21 minutes. REALLY?? Never moved up the queue and never got answered. WHAT A JOKE. They ripped me off, then they don't answer. I called Walmart again to complain. They are going to investigate this company and they are going to take a return and refund. I would NEVER buy another item from this company.

Ordered through Amazon a case of toilet Delimer.. I guess it was shipped because Fedex Stopped the delivery down the line due to the box being damaged. These guys don’t respond to emails and they don’t answer the phone listed under their contact info. Ordered a pack of 5 Espresso shelves
On the 26th of August (through Walmart) I ordered a set of 5 shelves. Even the description of the item says Espresso shelves (pack of 5).
On the 31st of August, I received 1 shelf, badly damaged in 4 spots and poorly packaged (it looks as if someone found a scrap piece of a cardboard box, wrapped it around the shelf one time, use a minimum amount of tape and then shipped it out) As I said, very poorly packaged.
I immediately sent in a ticket and had a quick response saying they would look into the problem. A week later, having heard nothing else from them, I sent in another ticket ... same results, we're looking into the warehouse for a solution .... then nothing
After having 5 different exchanges of emails, all with the same response, we'll look into this and then ignore you, I have given up.
Walmart tells me to contact East Coast Hardware, and they tell me it's been past 30 days so they won't to do a refund.
BBB won't do anything, because this company is not a member of the BBB.
I CAN NOT RECOMMEND this company. They will take your money and laugh all the way to the bank.

Can't Believe Amazon Does Business With This Company
This company is criminal and it is unbelievable to be that Amazon does business with them. They advertise at case-price, for an item that sells down my street for 50-60 cents, then list that they are selling me ONE CAN FOR OVER $60.00. Someone please prosecute these criminals. I am reporting them to the MA AGO immediately. They rate worse than 0 of 5 stars. It is association with criminal companies like this that Amazon will fall one day: I can't believe that I pay monthly for prime to have Amazon introduce me to these criminals-you should cut ties immediately, because a civil suit will follow the criminal suit against this company. Sooo, I googled in 1 -quart of urethane an up popped this company`s ad showing 1 -quart on the label in the picture . So I ordered it . They sent me 1/2 quart instead . Leaky Liberty Garden Hose Hangaer w/faucet 693
We purchased the Liberty Garden 42" Hose Hanger with faucet 693. We painted it green so you could not see it from the road. After my husband gets it all set up he finds that it leaks water. He then spends all morning trying to fix the leak. In his opinion it's caused by 'cheap machining.' Earlier this summer we purchased a similar one from Tractor Supply & it works great. No problem. Too bad they were all sold out of this item. In summary: this item was not worth the $35.00 plus shipping we paid.
