I've been able to see for the first time the cine reels my mum and dad did in the 70s.

The experience was very good easy to follow. The only reason why I gave a four star instead of a 5 was because at the time it took a lot longer to receive the order. However the quality was amazing the customer service was superb. My first batch of DVD’s didn’t seem to work in my DVD player but they were very helpful and everything was rectified. I would definitely recommend this company with your precious memories.

I can't really thank EachMoment enough. Or should I say, their Account Manager Emily.

She was professional, empathic, courteous and hard-working throughout the entire experience.

Now, I think it is important that people curb their enthusiasm, just a little - especially if they are submitting a large order.

I sent on around 20 old VHS tapes etc.

The process takes time. Lots and lots of time. So, just do it - but then keep yourself busy with other aspects of life for a while. The surprise, on completion, will just be as sweet.

Specifically, I sent on everything in September 2025 - and paid promptly. Payment needs to be upfront before the processing of the tapes etc. can commence. This grated at first, but when you consider the complexities of the process at hand, the cost, effort, labour and attention to detail - I quickly punted my moan to the kerb.

I didn't get the cloud based digitised copies until February 2026. Some six months later. And, even then I found (as a pedant) that there was a wee bit of 'sorting out' at that juncture. For example, EachMoment had let me know that some clips were beyond repair.

Except that wasn't entirely true.

I found myself asking lots of questions, as I kept my own record of how each tape had fared. Moreover, because it was quite clear the EachMoment processes and workflow are ever-evolving, as they seek to improve efficiency/quality in what must be a very, very busy space.

What made the experience? Emily and every aspect of the superb customer care she owned from the get-go. If I had a question, she came back promptly. She would act immediately on my concerns, talking to other colleagues and technicians within EachMoment.

So, despite the length and complexities of the job, Emily was always on hand to reassure, chase and pursue what I really wanted - a quality digital version of 30-year old media. Quality and affirmation that every effort had been made to salvage my old tapes was everything. Had a 2-month turnover threatened that quality, I would not have been too chuffed.

I now have various clips of my then 2-year old daughter playing on the farm, having a tea party with her cuddly toys - she's now (just married). I've got friends and family - long since passed - in the Cloud, forever.

Best money I spent in 2025.

A quick prompt to EachMoment. You're a busy company. You've done good work here. But your Account Manager, certainly in my case, made more than a difference - and ensured the entire process was navigable. Assuring me at every turn, with straight answers, and genuine commitment to excellent customer care.

Please ensure a well-deserved bonus or some other recognition. She deserves it.

This review is for old cine film only
I chose EachMoment because I was seduced by the examples of digitised cine film, with AI enhancement, on EachMoments website.
I posted eleven reels of old cine film to EachMoment and received confirmation they had arrived at EachMoment on the 7th of October 2025. I fully expected the AI enhanced digital versions back with me in time for presenting to my family at the Christmas 2025 get together. As the weeks passed by I got more and more concerned this wasn’t going to happen, resulting in many frustrating email exchanges with EachMoments “Rose Ann”. All the emails from “Rose Ann” were very sympathetic and accommodating but subsequently I realised the sentiments in them had no value and were often misleading.
(I suspect the “Rose Ann” emails were AI generated and asked for confirmation, but never received it).
Eventually on the 11th of March I received an email telling me my digitised films were available for download from the cloud, and this is when the real problems started.
The issues were as follows:
1. Seven of the eleven reels were digitised in reverse (People walking backwards).
2. No evidence of cleaning or restoration of the film before digitising.
3. No speed calibration on some film. (Speed walking)
4. Lighting and contrast issues.
5. No evidence of AI application.
6. No quality control or inspection of the finished product before release.
After more emails and phone calls the reels were reprocessed and some improvements were made, but some issues remained.
By the 17th of April 2026 I decided I had to let this project go. I’d wasted enough energy on dealing with EachMoment and made the decision not to pursue the remaining issues any longer.
In conclusion, as I said at the beginning this review is about old cine film digitisation. I can’t speak for other media. What I can say, is don’t expect EachMoment to meet the time predictions, and don’t expect them to keep answering your calls when things go wrong.
BTW, With regards to the remaining issues with my films, I have found using free applications like Microsofts Clipchamp, VLC and Google pictures video editing very useful.

The actual process and quality of digitisation is very good. I sent 19 mini dvds and received 19 back. Some had pixelating etc but that was the original tapes that had been damaged in storage, sending the tapes was easy and straightforward. My reason for giving 4 stars and not 5 is the time taken to process the tapes. I sent the originals in November and didn't receive the finished items and usb stick until March! I think that was excessive and could have been better.

We found a selection of old cine reels and VHS tapes and decided to use EachMoment to preserve what was on them. They were brilliant with our memories and if we had a question about how things were going it was easy to email them and get an update. It took a while - 4 months - but we hadn't looked at them for 30 years so a few more months was no real problem. If you're wanting a specific date then plan well in advance.
The old cine and VHS were returned to us and also a USB and access to a cloud based account to store everything.
Couldn't fault the service and wish we'd done it sooner.

I spoke to Dragana this morning regarding my next stage of processing. She was very efficient in explaining and cleared up several questions that I had. I have been thrilled to see my old tapes converted into Cloud - I was amazed that my 40 year old tapes survived a house fire, and then mould from being stored away. My family are yet to receive their USB’s and are going to be so happy to watch themselves growing up! Thank you!

Really love the results on our digitisation especially our wedding video which was poor quality each moment have done a fantastic job the only reason its not a 5 star review is the time it has taken (6 months) I think that expectations should be set on timescales but a fab result thank you.

Really good experience with this company - providing exactly what they describe on their website. They went above and beyond at the beginning to answer my queries and explain the process and reassure me. The process was really well organised and the quality was great. The only reason I haven’t given 5 stars is the length of time the process took. There was never any indication that it would take 6 months and I probably would have gone elsewhere if I had known. The results are good, but not sure it was really worth the wait.

Happy with now being able to view my memories on line. Did take a long time getting items back which was quite worrying, but worth the wait.

Went from bad to worse.. no tracking details when I sent back box to them. Then I get a message saying I can fast track if I paid nearly 40 pounds extra and they would be complete in a couple of days, which I did to then wake up next morning with completely different dates of completion. Feel completely ripped off and nobody is answering any of my messages.
I do not recommend, would use elsewhere if I knew what I do now. Follow up on review....
And shockingly gave my details yesterday n still heard nothing !!!
Many days have now passed and still nothing! They reply to the review to make them look good bit actually do nothing but ignore everything!

To have all photographs, and cds cleaned and digitalised is a wonderful idea. These memories can now be passed down the family without taking up a lot of valuable space in cardboard boxes. Viewing the photos on screen with the family all watching, and discussing relatives, fashions and destinations will be fun.

The resulting conversions of video and photos and cassettes to digital was great - it took 6 months though but communication was good - we were very happy and not in a hurry!

I enjoyed the videos so thank you for this, i thought my video qualities will be more improved as you guys said itcwould have enhancement touch to the videos.

I clearly understand videos have been lying around this time. But i thought video quality should have been more clear. The rest is ok .

One video of the last two videos i think we recorded on some tv show. But you guys also recorded that in the video. Which was waste of time. And that tv show was end of the videos.

But anyways over all its good but please guys in future find things and tools which can give best picture quality.
