Almost perfect service
Been DVS customers since 2005, diligently changed our filters every year. Very happy with the system. Just had our system upgraded to the EC Premium Connect this morning. Am satisfied with most aspects from telephone operators to installers to person processing payment. However, not terribly impressed with salesperson, Asian guy who was a little "pushy", a tad devious and not rude, but not as refined as I had expected from DVS, going by the years of my experience with your company. Just a comment, no action requested. Thanks!

Thrilled with our DVS system
We compared several ventilation systems and chose DVS. Right from the outset the team were professional, punctual and knew their stuff. The installation team were great but the best news of all was the result. We are delighted with the change and noticed a huge improvement from the first day and the system is incredibly quiet ( I recommend that you investigate this as one premium brand we looked at is very noisy).

I have just recently had a DVS system…
I have just recently had a DVS system installed in my 1960's home. Their rep, Pippa Jackson from Thames, responded immediately to my enquiry and made a time to visit and assess my home within two days which was very impressive. Pippa was thorough, helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable and made me feel supported throughout the whole process. She even called on the day it was installed to see how it all went (which, by the way, was only 3 weeks after my initial consultation with Pippa). Pippa's customer service was excellent and she has answered any questions I have subsequently had with enthusiasm and a cheerful smile. The DVS system has made a significant difference to my otherwise cold and damp house, especially my basement which has dried out considerably in the past couple of weeks! Using the DVS system as compared to others that are on the market also saved me a significant amount of money. I am overall super impressed with the service and the system...it has made a big difference to my inside temperatures. When it was installed the electricians told me that I had very little (almost none) insulation in my ceiling, and I have subsequently had that remedied so my whole house is warm, dry and super comfortable after being quite a damp, cold place. Many, many thanks to Pippa and the DVS people. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone!! Kindest regards, Saila Wood

Poor customer service
My wife and I met with the local DVS rep for the Selwyn district. We were impressed by both the presentation and the background into DVS's history and were sold on the idea from the rep that DVS were a "great Kiwi company" with a system that had better fans than anyone else on the market.
28 Sep 2020 - The DVS system was installed. After the installer left, I noticed a crack in the entrance way ceiling almost directly between two of the outlets between rooms. There was also a dislodged light fitting partially hanging down in the adjacent area. I called the installer to let him know and he came back that evening and refitted the light. He blamed the crack on the house settling and proceeded to look around the whole entry/living room/kitchen open plan area to find other cracking and seemed disappointed when he couldn't find any. He then stated the ceiling had cracked because it must have been plastered in winter and not under dry conditions. The house was plastered in the summer season of February, 2019. He soon left and I took from that meeting that he was taking no ownership of the damage. I then called the DVS rep who sold us the system and while he couldn't meet with us that week due to his busy schedule, he was happy to come out the following week to assess the damage and come up with a solution.
08 Oct 2020 - The DVS rep came out to assess the damage. With the area of the cracking roughly in the area between two outlets and not realising until he met with us that a light fitting was also dislodged, he could see how the damage may have happened without conclusively saying it was the direct cause. He then said he would be in touch with a solution after he had spoken to his manager. I emailed him pictures of the cracking and dislodged light fitting for his record. He seemed genuine and I was led to believe he would arrange a solution.
02 Nov 2020 - After not having heard anything I contacted the DVS rep. He said he had been busy and had yet to contact his manager.
13 Nov 2020 - I finally heard back from the DVS rep saying that he had contacted his manager and they were in the process of trying to get an assessor to deem if the damage was caused by them or not.
16 Nov 2020 - I had a phone call with a service manager from DVS who told me they would need an assessor from their end to look at the damaged area. At this point, after such slow progress, I had contacted our insurance company and told them everything that had happened. They were very helpful and said they would also need to send out an assessor to determine the likely cause of the damage.
01 Dec 2020 - I met with an assessor working on behalf of the insurance company. He assessed the damage and I was told after contacting our insurance company that it was probable the damage was caused by the DVS installer.
With it being close to Christmas, and the fact that DVS had not accepted liability, the repairs were not carried out until March 2021. Fortunately, our insurance company have been incredibly helpful and after talking to them before writing this review I was told they are still in touch with DVS's insurance provider to try and get them to accept liability. I have not heard from either the local rep for our region or the service manager since the last correspondence in November.
I can't speak for the customer service in other regions but the experience we have had with DVS has been incredibly frustrating and we expected better from a company we were led to believe from our first meeting prided themselves on customer service. It is hard to think about how well the DVS system performs when the whole experience has been soured by such poor communication.

Fantastic customer service!!
I contacted DVS to help improve our house in Dunedin which was old and had no wall insulation at all. Consequently it was damp and cold.
Craig made contact and he was brilliant, very knowledgeable and full of great advice. From the initial phone call to the site visit Craig was always friendly, polite and super helpful, going above and beyond what I expected. I would thoroughly recommend Craig, 110%, to anyone wanting to improve their homes in the Otago area.

So easy to deal with the agent Pippa…
So easy to deal with the agent Pippa and the electricians, Adams Electrical. Agreed an installation date once we decided on our specifications with Pippa’s guidance and Adams electrical arrived as planned and installed our system. Love our DVS system and now wish I installed it years ago.

Warm Home
Already experiencing how good a DVS system is, I had one installed in the batch in Tairua. Pippa at DVS quoted a new system and Carl Gubb Electrical installed it. Great service by both companies.
Condensation for the windows completely gone and the batch is so must warmer.
Can recommend DVS and CGE to warm up your home.

You won’t regret it.
The whole process from beginning to install was absolutely seamless. The DVS rep that came to our home was friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. We saw her on the Thursday and by the following Thursday, DVS was installed. After one day, we noticed a difference. We woke up to NO condensation and that evening, we noticed that we did not need to use the heater. Wish we had of got DVS sooner.

Amazing- water free windows on day 1
Amazing- water free windows on day 1. The install went quick and the Electrical Tech was very knowledgeable. Was using Window Vac daily & collecting up to 1/2 litre each morning. House feels a lot dryer. Great product.

Ever since installing our DVS System we…
Ever since installing our DVS System we have had very minimal fires, thus saving us a lot in firewood. Our home is warm and dry and with the roof and underfloor insulation installed at the same time we are happy as little sandboys. Thank you DVS. Wonderful system and great service.

Awesome experience from start to finish!
Awesome experience from start to finish. Phil Varley was super responsive right from when I put the expression of interest in at the website, and he explained the DVS systems to me so well. Compared with another home ventilation company, the service was night and day.
Then the experience with R&E Electrical was incredible, quote followed through on the day of Phil's visit, immediate responses by phone and email to any questions, guidance with Covid and the installation day, immediately sending through documentation after installation. The installers (Russell and Joel from R&E Electrical) were awesome, showed up spot on time, were very professional, super quick, great work done in the house including clean up, and honestly you wouldn't have even known they'd been here - so great. Thanks so much!
