For my birthday, I received a camera but didn't know how to operate it, so I decided to join a class to understand its basic functions. I participated in an all-day session where Agna provided excellent guidance and information. I also frequently exchanged emails with Roland, who offered valuable advice on my initial camera purchase, prompting me to switch to a different one—a decision I'm very pleased with. Roland was incredibly helpful, always responding to my queries promptly. I highly recommend this course for those wanting to grasp the basics of camera operations. Next, I'm planning to attend the travel photography workshop, which involves outdoor shooting.

I attended the one day beginners intensive photography course last weekend, and couldn't recommend it enough!

My partner recently leant me his DSLR camera for me to pursue an interest I have in food photography, and this course gave me all the essential knowledge I need to get started.

The course provided a perfect balance between teaching the functions of the camera itself, but also a fantastic introduction to the principles of photography (lighting, range, focus, etc).

The class size was small, meaning many opportunities for one on one instruction where required. The group was friendly and bonded quickly.

All in all, a fun, informative, engaging course, where I left feeling equipped to progress my hobby further!

I got a camera for my birthday and had no clue how to use it, I decided to find and attend a class to learn the basics of using it. I attended the full day course and agna was really helpful and informative. I also communicated with Roland via email on many occasions who was so helpful and actually advised me about my first camera i purchased which I ended up changing for a different one and I am so glad I did. Roland is very helpful and my emails got answered straight away. Would recommend this lesson for learning the basics of functions on your camera. I am now going to attended the travel photography lesson where I will go out and take photos.

I had the pleasure of taking part in a one-to-one, six-hour session with Katerina, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. Throughout the day, we discussed my strengths and areas for improvement, working on all aspects of my photography. Took the Intensive Beginners Photography Course to get better acquainted with the camera I bought years ago and never really got started using. At the end of the course I feel like I have a much better understanding of how my camera works and how to take better pictures.
Roland, the instructor, had a good way of explaining things and for me it was the right balance of theory and practice.
Importantly I felt I got exactly what I wanted when I booked the course.

Wanted to understand my camera which was bought for my birthday a few years back. After attending the course I have gained invaluable knowledge to get me going and understanding the basic fundamentals!

Had a nice course for 1 full day with Roland.

I’m a complete novice, Roland was great at explaining basics in a way I could understand. Have been using “intelligent auto” setting for years so was amazing to discover how to use other settings and stuff I’d been too scared to even think about. The practical exercises were great and we got some great pictures. Left feeling very inspired, keen to put what I learnt into practice. Am looking to upgrade to a better camera (as mine is an ancient bridge camera).

Throughly enjoyed my course with Roland. He had already been extremely helpful with his recommendations for which camera & lenses I should consider buying.
On the day he was patient & very knowledgeable, no question was “silly”
I arrived at the course feeling more than a little apprehensive about my new camera with its many buttons & menu’s.
Roland showed me very quickly how to navigate through the main functions. I was surprised at how easy it was to use.
I left the course feeling much more confident about using my camera & looking forward to practicing with it.
I will definitely be booking more courses with DSLR photography. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in this field.

This was an excellent course for people, like me, who have great cameras and need help to get off Auto!
Caterina talked us through each step and we had opportunities to practice indoors and out, each part of the process We all had a lot of individual input when we needed it.
Small group helped us learn from each other and ask questions. No more Auto!

I decided to enroll in the Level 1 Intensive Beginner Course here as I am going to India and wanted to learn more about how to use my DSLR camera. It turned out to be the best choice I made this year. The tutor, Aga, was amazing—very friendly, experienced, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I will definitely go back to take the Level 2 course.

Right from the beginning it was a very relaxed tutorial the tutor Aga ensured that we all understood each section before moving on, I went from having no idea what my camera was capable of to having a better understanding.
Anyone wishing to take up photography in any capacity I would certainly recommend this course as a beginning

I attended an all day intensive course. This was so good. Tutors/Roland were so kind, took the time and patience required to help us make the most of our day. Very knowledgable and this has really helped me. I plan to attend other courses. Very well structured and great useful content. So much better than the million of youtube videos that I have watched. I came out knowing so much more and very confident. We were looked after and all tiny details were catered for. Thanks so much. Look forward to coming back soon.
