Stump Grinder Electric Start
I purchased an electric start stump grinder through my LLC to use on two empty lots I own soni could write it off. However, it broke with only 4.1 hours and then they tell me because it for "commercial" use I can't have the warranty. Be careful purchasing from DR Power. Even if you buy it for personal use, good luck getting it fixed. It's been at the shop for 6 weeks.

They told me 3-6 days for shipping! It’s Nov 22 today. Still no parts. I’ve called customer service at least five times and I get a different story every time.

Slow shipping and delivery
First, the product is decent. I have a pull behind leaf vacuum and the engine has been reliable after a few seasons of storage and use. That being said, the company doesn't manage their business well. Shipping "delays" have been present since I first ordered the equipment years ago, and most recently when I ordered a replacement part that was in stock. My order will take approximately 2.5 weeks just to ship and then another 4-6 days for ground delivery service. We're likely looking at close to one month just to receive a simple part. From a customer's perspective, that's a terrible experience and contributes to a negative effect within the net promotor score your business will receive. This problem affects both the customer experience and our support requirements. What if the part is required for my machine to run? Your delays are impacting an entire month of maintenance around my home. Please address your delivery processes or find a knowledge strategic manager who can do it for you.

Customer service sucks and that's putting it nicely. Equipment is good until you need parts or service, then forget it. Stay away from them. 2 days of 30+ minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone and they never did. I'm selling my stuff. Don't waste your time with them.
Excellent Customer Service review
I bought my DR walk behind brush cutter back in 2003 and just this year finally had to order some parts for it. I was totally happy with the customer service from the associate that took my call, in fact he reminded me so much of the "car talk guys" on NPR that I told him so and we had a good laugh about it. Bottom line, he represented your company magnificently. AND my parts where here long before promised, thank you for that.

The agent was very friendly and helped me troubleshoot my issue and made ordering a maintenance kit easy.
Broke after 30 min, wants to charge to return
Bought an $800 trimmer and a $125 head. The head worked for 30 minutes then a spring popped out. A trimmer without a head is useless. They wanted $91 for the WARRANTY replacement on $125 part. And the warranty is only 90 days!!! DO NOT BUY!!! I've been waiting 4 days for someone to call me back to return it and I expect they won't call me. The last customer service rep I spoke to hung up on me. This is about the least professional company with which've ever attempted to work. Big mistake. Again...DO NOT BUY!!!

I can't imagine a company with worse customer service ever since it was acquired by Generac. I have been waiting for essential parts for my brush mower for over 3 months now. They claim refunds will be issued upon receipt of package. Package was clearly marked with refund authorization as they instructed. Just send another email and hopefully will have a better outcome.
I have a DR brush hog and ordered a cable
I have a DR brush hog and ordered a cable for. I placed my order on October the 25th. It had an expected delivery of a week. On the 30th, I called to see where it was in shipping and they still hadnt shipped it out. The shipping and billing address was reversed. Got an email on November the 2nd with a tracking number. Here it is on the 5th, and it has not been shipped yet! UPS says the tracking number is no good and no one knows where my order is! Very disappointed, as I really needed this part in a timely manor.
DR Power EZ-Dial Grader--Nothing easy about it
I have a DR Power EZ-Dial grader. The box grader does a much better job than I expected. The EZ-Dial elevation system is a major problem. It is a light duty system to control a heavy duty device. At the end of a grading run, the box is loaded with dirt & gravel which puts major stress on the 1/8" cable & its' crimped end fitting and all the internal parts of the system. And worst of all, customer service is non-existent. I've ordered parts on 2 occasions. Both times the shipping fee was almost as much as the parts. The most recent time took 3 weeks to get the part. I called after 2 weeks to check on it, was on hold for more than 20 minutes. The excuse I got was we are moving from one warehouse to another. I have been in email contact with their technical support dept., sending photos of the damaged parts. So far that has resulted in nothing except a brag about their 4 & 5 star reviews (on their own site). This system is designed to break down.
Don't make the same mistake I made!
I ordered a DR trimmer, 2 batteries, battery charger and extra string on April10, 2025. After much delay I wrote to inquire about the delay and was told the batteries were on backorder. Today, October 30, 2025 I called and was told the batteries were discontinued and I would need to order a different battery (another 2 months...if they even arrive before the end of 2026...) I was told someone called me in June of 2025 to explain the problem but I never received the call and there was never any other follow-up, so I have been waiting more than half a year for this product. Needless to say, the summer season has ended with out the proper equipment for my yard and I will have to sit on it until May of 2026 until it is needed again (all at my expense.) All I can say is "I'm one and done!!!"

I’m getting partial deliveries. I understand that DR Equipment is moving to a new warehouse I’m still waiting. And they’re having problems with shipping.
I’ve also notice there’s problems with the online ordering.
Hopefully, DR Equipment will get things straightened out.

The person who took the order 2-3 weeks ago and waited patiently for my return call remembered me and the previous conversation we had. This and she had my records almost immediately and this for a customer who purchased the machine in question 25 years ago. Just the age of the machine tells you something about the companies building standards. Customer service was a bit slow but I was told that this is the busy time of the year for DR. I also had an opportunity to recommend a similar machine to a fella that I met a while ago. I believe he will be ordering in the near future as I told him how satisfied I was. overall.

DR Power has some amazing products, worth looking into, read up on them, check out all the comments from users, get in touch with customer service and ask all the tough questions.
No parts for my machines
first of all, I don't have parts from six weeks ago. Now I ordered and have no idea if I will ever get parts. I now have over four thousand dollars in DR products that I cannot get blades for.And you have the nerve to ask me if I'm satisfied.
Still waiting after 6 weeks.
Order was placed on Sept. 2. Weeks later I called to check status. Spent several mornings waiting for nearly an hour on hold before hanging up. Emails not returned. Chat on website is manned by people who give prewritten answers with no care shown for actually providing responses. Two items finally shipped after more than a month. The third has been 'delayed' again, and I was just told it would take 2-3 weeks before it may ship. I canceled it and was directed to fill out a return authorization request form to return the other items. Which I did. Apparently I'm to wait 1-2 more business days for a response. If it's not received I will be initiating a charge back with my credit card.
Ordered a part in August
Ordered a part in August - it is now late October. Telephone service is horrible. Their follow through is non existent. They have never explained the delay. Meanwhile, my existing DR equipment is idle because of a cheap $24 part. Never again.
