I started driving under Alyx’s instruction in November and was able to pass in June. I never felt silly when making mistakes, even when needing to spend multiple lessons on the same type of road/junction. Alyx was always calm and puts you at ease with gentle reminders throughout.
It was a lovely experience to learn to drive and I never felt rushed to get something. We did a few mock test routes in the weeks beforehand to really understand what might need more work and were able to sort those bits out before the test.

I passed first time!!! Out of my 4 years of driving Alyx is the best instructor I’ve ever had. She always arrived on time and used a app which made it easier to keep track of my lessons and progress. Alyx created such a calm and welcoming environment every time and it was very tailored to my specific way of learning and we learned at my pace she always made great conversation and the way she taught me never left me feeling stressed or anxious behind the wheel. Both Alyx and her mum are so lovely and created such a nice environment for me to learn in and the analogies Alyx would use managed to stick with me! I had my heart set on passing first time and I did all thanks to Alyx she’s the best instructor I really couldn’t recommend her enough!! Worth every penny! Within 4 months she had me test ready and I had spent years trying with other instructors and I just couldn’t manage. A huge thank you I will miss our lessons!

It’s been a long road to me passing my test, having tried to learn in a manual many years ago but given up.

I found Driving Dynamix online and after a short wait on their waiting list I began my lessons with Alyx. Her teaching style is completely different to what I experienced before and I was driving on my first lesson!

We worked hard on my skills as a driver, even with learning challenges caused by my dyspraxia, Alyx was nothing but a ray of sunshine - I absolutely looked forward to every lesson. Alyx has a gift for teaching, her patience and ability to make a bad mistake feel like a positive led to my pass.

It wasn’t until I got out on the road all on my own that actually, I found I absolutely can drive and I was fully prepared. You don’t just learn to pass a test, you do learn how to drive safely.

The Driving Dynamix system truly works, the mock tests as I got towards my test date were superbly helpful in getting me ready and confident and although I didn’t get a first time pass, I went into my second test with confidence and left with the all important certificate!

I’m really going to miss our lessons Alyx, you’ve been brilliant along with Gabi guest starring for a couple of lessons and my second test, and of course Sharon doing all the background admin to keep things running smoothly!

Every penny I spent on my lessons was worth it - again I didn’t realise just how ready for the roads I was until I was out on the road on my own and I hope to remain a safe and competent driver for life!

I would recommend Driving Dynamix to anyone but particularly if you have any sort of barriers to learning - give them a go, if I can pass anyone can!

I recently passed with my instructor Alyx. She was so great and patient throughout all my lessons. She was super positive and encouraging and explained more difficult concepts really well. We did lots of mock tests and practice which made me feel really prepared and confident for my test. I would definitely recommend.

Had Colin as my instructor and he was absolutely fantastic! The kindest person and always made sure I was comfortable. It was always a joy when I knew I had a lesson coming up!

I started my driving journey with Driving Dynamix early last year, and managed to pass with no minors on Wednesday 24th January. I did the automatic driving lessons and had Alyx as my instructor. She was absolutely bloody amazing!😆. She made sure I knew what to do and her instructions were clear and precise. Alyx felt more of a friend than an instructor because of how laid back she was and how fun she made the lessons. I will miss our lessons together and the coffee breaks😂🥹. I was lucky to find Driving Dynamix and to learn from Alyx, and to hone my calm and cautious driving.
I also thank the whole team for their hard work and efficient system. It was a long journey, and I’m so happy to be able to drive to anywhere on my own happily and safely.

Following a stroke in 2022 at age 82 I voluntarily gave up my licence due to experiencing vertigo. In hospital I enrolled in a 2-year clinical trial designed to demonstrate that exercise improved recovery. I succeeded in regaining full mobility and was recommended to take refresher driving lessons. My instructor was Gabi with whom I established an immediate rapport as she taught an old dog some new tricks perhaps better termed as good driving habits that had been watered down over the years.
The result was a successful assessment which will lead to restoration of my licence. Words alone cannot express my gratitude.

I have recently passed with Gabi the manual instructor, she was an amazing teacher, very patient and kind and always cheered me up when I was worried about things. She took me on all the test routes in our several mocks tests making me feel very comfortable with the roads and when I had my test I used this knowledge to drive around safely. I would definitely recommend learning with driving dynamix as all the instructors are extremely kind and knowledgable. Thank you so much for helping me pass.

I *very* highly recommend Driving Dynamix. Having struggled with driving lessons in the past (giving up after a few failed tests, a decade ago), a colleague at the university recommended Gabi. And she is the best instructor I've ever had, by a mile! The price was a notch higher than my previous teacher, but I could tell the difference immediately. Each lesson was very clearly tailored to my specific gaps, and there was always a real sense of progress. (And of course, cheaper lessons aren't cheaper if you have to keep taking them forever...)
When test day came around, I ended up passing on first try, with zero faults (!) - something I wouldn't have believed was possible before my lessons with Gabi. The secret weapon, I think, was the run of four extended mock tests in the week of the test, combined with a short pre-test lesson on the day itself. All this meant that the actual test felt like a breeze: nice, short, simple. I'll miss our chats, but am very grateful to Gabi for getting me my licence so smoothly!

Colin was exactly what I needed to get my confidence up with my driving - he was so patient but still pushed me in the exact way I needed. Thank you Colin, Gabi and Alyx for all your help and guidance and helping me to pass first time ☺️

Incredible Value! Having myself gone from on and off learning for a couple years... largely due to a feeling of anxiety and dread towards driving lessons. Since finding Driving Dynamix and picking driving back up with Gabi it has been brilliant! I simply couldn't have asked for a more kind, skilled and outright lovely instructor! Made me go from dreading driving to being able to pass my test in just under 2 months! Could not recommend more!
