Marcus and Ben did an excellent job in transforming our dated, dark-stained staircase into a modern oak and glass design, which we are thrilled with. They are very professional, helpful and clean and tidy and we would thoroughly recommend them.

We had a very awkward and narrow staircase, and Marcus and Ben designed and installed a fantastic new stairs and bannisters. We now have a truly WOW stairs and hall showpiece.

I had a very good experience with Dorset Stairs. Although not a novel design, the staircase is in an old house with its own quirks. Marcus and Ben installed it beautifully and were a pleasure to have around. They also demonstrated their professionalism by coming back to tweak some studwork under the stairs as I liaised with the plasterers. No hesitation in recommending them!

Really great service and fantastic workmanship, we are so happy with our new banisters, they have transformed our hall and landing area. We highly recommend Dorset Stairs, they were really great with helping us to make design decisions and the process was so smooth from start to finish. Thank you guys.

Dorset Stairs installed our stairs for our loft conversion.
They accommodated me even though where I live was out of there normal working area without hassle.

They made the measuring process straight forward and look easy.

Installation went smoothly and they left my house spotless.

Very happy with the stairs and the overall experience with Dorset Stairs.

Dorset Stairs were prompt, efficient, knowledgable and helpful. The staircase is well made and exactly what we envisaged. We highly recommend using this company.

Very happy with a fabulous new set of bannisters in oak and glass. Thoroughly recommended

Marcus & Ben were a pleasure to deal with. We had a limited window of time to get our staircase replaced before our hall floor was being tiled. They fitted us in beautifully. We are delighted with our new oak staircase. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend them.

What a delight to find a company that act, in all aspects, with such excellence! Marcus and Ben are true professionals, they took the time to listen and consider what we wanted, not what would be easy for them. What we wanted to achieve was not easy and custom to reflect our house but they did it, and we are delighted - thank you both!

Wish I could agree with others re workmanship. However they failed to turn up for the quote and have not given any explanation. Therefore unreliable!

I highly recommend Dorset Stairs Limited. They are genuine, honest craftsman who care about their customers. Their products and their work are of a high standard and the whole service was without fault.
Thankyou for a great service from start to finish.

This was quite a big refurbishment taking out a 1980's mahogany galleried staircase, and replacing with a light oak and glass contempory one. The stair case structural work took three days, and the decorator another three days, with a couple of hours in there for the carpet fitter to relay existing carpets. Marcus and Ben did an amazing job on the staircase, and work was carried out to a really high standard. Both Jason's (decorator and carpet fitter) again did fantastic work. We're really pleased with the job, the glass reflects back light in the hallway and really brightens the place up. (the old red/brown wood used to just absorb light). I had promised to leave a recent review, as these guys go back to back from one job to next, and they should have feedback which reflects their excellent work. (Andy, Mar2021)

We wanted to use a local company and these guys were helpful and professional from the start. They talked us through our options during the site visit kept us informed of when the work was going to take place. The old stairs were out and the new one in within one working day, very tidy work. A second day was needed for detailing and finishing off, very happy with the result.

Refurbishing our staircase was one of the last things left on our to do list. Having called in several companies, we couldn’t believe the differential in price on the quotes we were sent. Marcus and Ben came round to have a look and from the moment we met them, we felt confident in their ability and found their pricing, whilst not the cheapest, more realistic than several of the other companies. They did not disappoint. The work was carried out to a high standard, with the least amount of interruption and all preparation and cutting was carried out outside the house to avoid dust and mess. We found them to be very professional and personable. They are also great Communicators, an art which seems to be sorely lacking in a lot of businesses today. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. Excellent craftsmen of their trade. Thank you Marcus and Ben. We believe your work ethic and integrity will stand you in good stead for the future.

Start to finish, both Ben and Marcus have been fantastic. We found the business on google, and spoke with Ben to book in a quote for a new staircase. Marcus arrived in a timely manner, and reassured ourselves that we were in good hands. He sent the quotes we requested over, and the prices were extremely competitive. Today they came back to fit the glass and we are over the moon with the result. I would recommend Dorset Stairs to anyone who is looking to get a new staircase or a refurbishment. Great work guys

No need to look any further than Dorset Stairs. Marcus and Ben have done a beautiful refurbishment of our staircase. Impeccable timekeeping, first class workmanship resulting in absolutely delighted customers. Couldn’t be happier.

Our recent staircase renovation by Dorset Stairs has transformed our hallway and exceeded our expectations. Everything was carried out in a professional and courteous way and to a high standard. Can thoroughly recommend this company.

Professional and straightforward from start to finish. Marcus and Ben take great pride in their work and had the expertise to transform our staircase into exactly what we were looking for. The result was a beautiful cut-string oak staircase which really gives the wow factor to our hallway. We are very pleased. Would highly recommend.

I’m really pleased with the installation of new stair bannisters, they really solved a difficult problem of not being able to get furniture upstairs. They designed and installed a bespoke stir bannister that can be removed when accessed is required. They are very pleasant, very reasonably priced and have done an excellent job. I have no hesitation recommending this company.
