DNB Academy Anmeldelser

The hands on approach to learning drum and bass production is so effective. As somebody with pretty severe ADHD I have troubles watching tutorial videos to level up, but in the DNB Academy getting live feedback for my tracks has been a massive help for my production. The live zoom calls are super informative and the community built around it has been extremely supportive. All those questions I had about sound design are being answered in a highly constructive as well as friendly manner. Can't recommend enough!

DNB Academy is the perfect place to go if you truly want to level up your production, mixing, and mastering skills in all things drum and bass. Whether you're into jungle, neuro, minimal, or just want to be part of a passionate and supportive community that genuinely cares about the craft, this is the place to be.

Even though I’ve only been part of the Academy for about three weeks, my tracks and understanding of the production process have improved drastically. I’m now able to build drums from scratch that feel uniquely mine and create tracks that flow and stay engaging from start to finish.

And the best part? I’ve only scratched the surface. There’s still so much more to learn—from mastering the finer details of production to understanding the industry itself, growing your fan base, and building a solid reputation. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their DnB journey!

I'd been "producing" for about 6 months before I signed up to the academy. I was just getting stuck in loops and had no sense of what I was up to really, just going off all the conflicting tutorials I could find.

Joining the academy was the best move I could have made. The mentorship program is unreal. My one to one sessions with noopy have been like a light bulb switched on for me. He breaks things down in such a clear and concise way that helps you understand how and why to do things. After just a few sessions, no joke, my production improves 100 times!! His technicality in production is insane.

You also have all the feedback sessions with other mentors which are just amazing for helping you move tracks along. There's always someone ready to help and guide.

The coursework and videos are so detailed and really help with learning to work and think like a pro!!

I feel so blessed to be part of the amazing community that is dnb academy!! I'm so glad I made the jump, I'm a few months in and already got a release coming on a small label!! You really do get put what you put into this course and they offer so much.

To anyone thinking about wether the mentorship program is worth it or not ..... I'd say dont even hesitate!!

I did my 1-on-1 mentorship with Jon and honestly, it was a game changer. The amount I learnt in just a few sessions was insane — not just technical production techniques but also how to think like a professional artist. Jon broke things down in ways that finally clicked for me after years of trial and error.

The coursework and theory side of DnB Academy is incredibly valuable. It deepens your understanding and gives you the tools to apply your creativity with confidence and control.

Big thanks to everyone at DnB Academy — I’m genuinely grateful. You’ve created something special and it’s helping artists like me finally break through. Highly recommend to anyone serious about producing drum and bass.

I initially purchased the Molecular producer course. Fount the quality to be top notch and enjoyed how much content was packed into it. Ended up getting the full version of DNB Foundations with all of the bonus content. Its so much content I won't need another resource for a very long time. Happy with the content and the customer service I've gotten from DNB Academy.

DNB Academy is doing it right! Everything they offer in the mentorship program is extremely helpful. You learn the secrets here! Everything from sound design, post processing, arrangement, music theory, mixdown and mastering techniques, you name it, is taught here. The curriculum is top notch and well thought out which makes learning and working towards your goals more fun, especially with the help from your mentor. It really is something to look forward to each week throughout the course. Not to mention the amount of help within their discord community. Lots of love in there from the other students too. Also they have group sessions monday-friday hosted by different mentors for feedback on your tunes. They tell you what to fix and how to fix it and give examples and lessons too from their studios which is awesome. And you can reach out and ask for help anytime from anyone in the community. Lots of good support here, and the information shared here i doubt you can find anywhere else. If you want to learn from and work with professionals in the drum and bass industry you should go ahead and fill out the application now and submit!

DNB Academy are amazing! The service they provide is quality, the information and education they give in their mentorship program is top class. My experience with them has been brilliant and I’d recommend their services to anyone.

DNB Academy is absolutely brilliant. Their mentorship program focuses on the individual, with a full-blown curriculum, 1:1 mentoring, group sessions, and a full-blown community, which I can only call a proper DNB family.
They fully audit your process. This program is for literally everyone, from beginner to pro. There is value in it. This is DNB artists, teaching you directly to get the result you want, no wasting time, no faffing around.
They take you from the basic fundamentals, all the way to artist development and branding. It really is DNB heaven!
All I can say, Thank you DNB Academy :D

From the beginning of my enrollment in DNB Academy the team has went above and beyond to make sure that my training is thorough and personalized. I’m very grateful for the team and my personal instructor taking me through this journey of music production. I would recommend this training to any music producer looking to up their game. Let’s go!

Overall, the DNB Academy program is possibly the best thing for any producer that I have come acroos in my years of producing. Super helpful team, the mentors have huuuge knowledge of the music itself, the technicalities of producing and basicsally anything I ask about. 5/5
Love the community, everyone is super chill, theres endless opportunities of collaborating with others, or just connecting in any way. 5/5
For me, as I joined the program after learning more than just the basics of producing music, I kind of feel like the price is high, despite the huge bank of masterclasses and the daily feedback sessions. However, I still recommend it to everyone, for whom music is more than a hobby.

DNB Academy is an excellent resource for anyone looking to enhance their drum and bass production skills, whether you're just starting out or already have some experience. The courses are structured to cater to both beginners and more advanced producers, making it easy to build a strong foundation or take your skills to the next level. The instructors are knowledgeable and offer clear, actionable insights, ensuring you learn the techniques and concepts that matter most. I highly recommend DNB Academy to any producer ready to level up their game and dive deeper into the world of drum and bass!

If you want to learn DNB production to a professional standard, then the DNB Academy is for you! After completing the course, not only am I confident at understanding sound, sound design, mixing and mastering music, but I have made unbelievable progress in such a short time. Consequently, I am now about to release my first tune on Spotify which i never thought possible before! The DNB Academy will connect you to other artists and pros in the scene, provide you with incredible video content online (only for the 1:1 mentorship students), give you regular 1:1 sessions (for 12 weeks) to enhance your skills and provide weekly feedback sessions so your music can get professional feedback (even when you've finished the course). I am so grateful I made the decision to join the course and can now look forward to a promising future in music production! 100% would recommend! - Hatts

I've never felt more confident in my music. I've been producing other genres for over a decade but found a big struggle with mixing + mastering drum and bass. DNB Academy has helped me in overcoming those struggles in a few short months. I'm confident in my music now more than ever and I honestly don't think I could've done it without them. If you're on the fence about joining & you're reading this review; do it.

For anyone who is undecided, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second longer. I’m learning so much and having a lot of fun doing it. So many great recourses that will help you elevate your production skills to that next level. Having that one on one time with a pro tutor is incredibly valuable. Everything is so streamlined. Couldn’t recommend more

DNB Academy has been a great experience to level up my production skills. I received HOURS and I mean HOURS of video content with various instructors to learn everything from music theory to sound design to mixing and mastering. On top of that I’ve been learning so much by working 1 on 1 with a very seasoned producer who knows production inside and out. It’s really helped level up my skills. This has been a 5 star experience so far but would make it even better would be frequent remix contests with prizes and releases.

Overall, I’ve really become a better producer with great connections in the DNB industry. DNB Academy is all you really need if you are trying to make it as a DNB producer - or any kind of electronic music producer, for that matter.

DNB Academy has been an amazing platform, community and experience for me.

Initially I was a bit disappointed because the first class I enrolled in was too basic for what I needed, but after speaking with Andre - he went above and beyond to make everything right for me. To help compensate for being placed in what I felt was the wrong course he gave me access to some of DNBA's advanced resources and samples packs AND hooked me up with Noopy as a 1-on-1 instructor. I was blown away by Andre's level of customer service and can fully vouch for both DNBA's Sound Design Bootcamp and 1-on-1 instruction with Noopy. Both were invaluable to helping me learn more about producing and level up.

The DNBA Sound Design Bootcamp course is easily the most in depth "teach you how to fish" course on sound design and synths I've ever seen and Noopy is an incredible person and an amazing instructor. During Noopy's 1-on-1 sessions with me he spent way too much time helping me (often past our designated hour) and was incredibly in depth, understanding and knowledgable.

I would highly recommend DNBA to anyone looking to level up their DNB production skills.

top lads, great content and help

Because of the DNB-Academy I can kind of read sounds now instead of only listening to it. It's a big eye opener music theory wise! I am getting coached by Noopy and he really takes time for you as a student and explains everyting super clearly. I am only 5 weeks in and I'm already surprised about how much music changed for me!

My experience with DNB academy has been nothing short of amazing. I started from first engaging in the Foundations program and expanding my basic knowledge of music production, to 1-1 mentorship Zoom calls with Humanature where he really helped me understand the how & why of doing things, cultivating ideas, themes and arrangements. I also completed the 12 week mentorship with Noopy which was extremely beneficial where we worked solely on mixdowns. These 1-1 Zoom sessions changed everything for me as it boosted my confidence. His way of teaching was perfect for me and he was always very patient and helpful even when I had no idea what I was doing lol. In conclusion to all this, I've also attended 2 Basscamp retreats in Portugal and will be attending my third this summer. This experience also changed everything for me.

Since first joining the academy in March 2021, I've landed releases and guest mixes on well established labels and YouTube channels. The academy made everything real for me. Thank you

Awesome class! Currently enrolled in the Sound Design Boot Camp and it has changed how i completely listen to sound. The online classes are great and they way they are presented makes them really easy to follow. My 1-1instructor Noopy, is fantastic! He has shown me so many tips and tricks in a short amount of time that I can only imagine what gold he will have shown me by the time the course is over. If you're wanting to level up your knowledge in DnB and sound design this is the place!
