Every day this week, this company has guaranteed that they would pick up the dumpster my contractor ordered. Each day, he or I have received reassurances—yesterday alone I spoke with customer service twice, both times they confirmed the dumpster would be removed that day.

Yet here we are, and the dumpster is still sitting in the same spot.

These repeated false promises have delayed my contractor's work and caused unnecessary stress and cost. It's incredibly frustrating to be told “we’ll take care of it today” day after day, only to be let down again.

If you’re considering using this company, be aware that customer service may tell you what you want to hear, but follow-through is unreliable at best.

When attempting to get a quote via email (which appears to be offered), after two attempts, I'm about to go to another provider. A have not rec'd a response email in 2-3 days.

They are just a broker for find dumpster service. In my case they where charging and additional $200 to my rental which was in the $500 range.

They are also reporting a false review score on google and trust pilot of 4.5 stars and 1087 (it is hard coded into there site)

I have tried to report them to trust pilot but they don't seem to have a report feature

They booked my appointment charge my card and then called several hours later saying they were no longer able to deliver it because they priced it wrong. Wouldn’t honor the original quoted price and didn’t even seem like they wanted to do business anymore. Very unprofessional representatives and company. Hoping to get a refund

The company delivered the dumpster and the truck had a huge hydraulic leak which leaked all the way down my driveway and then 2 huge puddles. The driver didn't care when I showed him. I called and they asked for pictures, which I sent. It has been a week and no call or email. They will take your money and not care about anything else. Terrible customer service.

Don't use this company, they are just a booking agency that knows nothing about local companies that actually do the work. They waste your time with people that barely speak English. DO NOT CALL THEM!!!

I have to reach out to my lawyer because they will not come and get their dumpster from my property. My husband has called multiple times and the dumpster has been there about a month. I am trying to move in a new tenant and cannot, so now they are interfering with me making money. My lawyer will be in contact soon.

I rented a dumpster for a week and a neighbor with mental illness called and had the dumpster picked up after 2 days (without my authorization). I have tried to get a partial refund as I know my dumpster was re-rented immediately. I have called Discount Dumpster several times and have gotten the run around, gotten transfered 5 times and gotten disconnected. This company has no concept of customer service. I JUST WANT A REFUND OF 5 DAYS THAT I DID NOT HAVE THE DUMPSTER!!!!!

Extremely RUDE. When I called to ask for a price quote they were almost double some of the others and when I asked 'why are you so high' they hung up on me.

So it turns out they are a 3rd party and don’t actually service their own dumpsters. I requested a quote for a 20 yard and was delivered a 40 yd. After looking back at the contract it was $400+ and when they picked it up I was never notified, which the driver tells me it no surprise. Lastly, they ended up charging me almost 1500.00. I will never use them again and I generally get 3 dumpsters a month!

THE WORST!!!

The are very untrustworthy and unprofessional. They will get an attitude the minute you start asking questions. Once they get your money they will try to ghost you. After the terrible way they talked to me I wanted to cancel the drop off. That made them upset so they stopped answering my calls. Stay far far away.

The dumpster did not come from this company; they merely arrange with someone who has a dumpster. The communication between source and the company is apparently very bad. So the dumpster was late arriving. It was not picked up on the day we called the source, so now this company is charging us $37 per day for "extra days" of having a full unsightly dumpster in our yard!This company hangs up when you complain!

Disgusting behavior! I called to rent a 40 yard dumpster and was told the price. It was double the price I paid just 5 months before to rent the same dumpster. What changed? Hurricane Beryl came thru Houston, TX and Discount Dumpster jacked up their prices!!! So while people are hurting and need help with cleaning up their property after a hurricane, Discount Dumpster tries to double their profits!!! Disgusting. I asked why and the man said, "Supply and Demand." Taking advantage of hurting people!

Company deserves zero stars. Driver refused to deliver dumpster to location required. Never received a dumpster. They sure kept my money and refuse to refund for a product they never delivered. Dispatch guys are good. Third world customer service. They just hang up on you. Promise to call back and never do. Will report to the BBB and other agencies. Thieves.

Found the Discount Dumpster LLC online. They replied with an online quote request April 10. A rep by the name of “Tanner” texted me a reply and quote based on my specifications ($485.00 for 14 days). 10 / 12-yard dumpster to be put on side drive and not in street to be delivered on April 22. April 15 terms were agreed upon and payment was issued on Visa card. On April 16 Tanner texted that they could not put it in the side drive. I assured him I have had dumpsters in there before and sent him a pic of the drive with my car in it. On April 17 I was called that the dumpster was at my home. I informed both the driver and Tanner it was too early. Delivery date was to be April 22. Apologies were received and the use of the side drive was reinforced. April 22 the dumpster was on site, but the driver once again insisted it had to go into the street. Back and forth between the drivers dispatch and Tanner were texed and phone calls were made. The driver’s company, Ravenswood Disposal Inc. canceled the order and the dumpster left. I informed Tanner I wanted a refund to my Visa card, and I was going elsewhere. I was informed originally it was being taken care of. Then I was informed a refund was being issued. On April23 a refund of $200.00 was issued to my Visa card. Contacted Chase and they are helping me to recover the remaining $285.00. Text thread and receipts attached. After contacting Chase / Visa of my problem; Chase informed me that the $200 was NOT a refund but another withdraw. Texted Tanner as to why the extra charge, I was informed that it was another fee for a "Dry Run". (???) I did not cancel the order, Ravenswood Disposal did. I did not authorize the additional withdrawal from my Visa Card. I have screened shot the text thread for proof of my claim. Do NOT use Discount Dumpster LLC. They make promises, fail to keep them and charge you for the privilege. If I could issue a zero-star review, I would.

Great communication and overall customer service.

Edit Sunday 4/21/24: called Monday and Tuesday, spoke with someone but couldnt get much more than "I'll check on it" and then Wednesday 6am we hear it being dropped off. Im happy we finally got the dumpster, but the lack of communication sure made it a rough experience and made scheduling any help with the project we needed the dumpster for impossible and without knowing if we still had a week from drop off, we busted our butts after work each day JUST in case they picked it up Friday as per original scheduling because again, no communication.

Scheduled a dumpster March 26th to be delivered friday April 12th. Called 4:45p on the 12th to ask about latest delivery. They couldn't say as the driver should contact us themselves but never did. It's now 3p Saturday the 13th and there's no way to contact anyone about anything because Discount Dumpster is closed weekends. Really makes these scheduled projects hard to complete and now likely won't have any info or resolution until Monday at the earliest. Will update review with conclusion.

Similar to another review, had a vastly different experience recently from a previous experience... 2 yrs ago it was great - this time I tried to cancel a delivery the same day I ordered due to an unforeseen issue and ended up getting charged a $210 fee. The sales person stated "I go home at 3pm so I didnt see or hear your phone call, text and email" that was sent between 3:30pm and 4pm the day before the delivery was originally scheduled. (same day I placed the order...) this was the contact information and email I was directed to use with the contract and calls. Their contract even states that their business hours are 7am to 5pm, but they refused to remove the fee. On top of that, the sales person texted me the following morning at 6am stated he had are received the messages and would make sure the delivery was cancelled. At 9am the delivery shows up with the dumpster which was supposed to be cancelled so we told them to take it back since we had cancelled. The driver admitted that they had "communication issues" and did not get a message. Long story short, I had documentation of all the above and they still refused to remove the fee. Not a client friendly business! beware!

We recently got our second dumpster rental with Discount Dumpster, expecting great service like the first time... we experienced the complete opposite. They had terrible communication, delivered the dumpster a day early and to the wrong house. When we reached out to them regarding all these issues we had two people state they would be talking with management and we would hear back... we never heard back. Long story short we will not be using discount dumpster again since there are dozens of other options in the Denver area.
