I ordered a Babolat rucksack style badminton bag from the Direct Sports/Direct Badminton web site. I had used this company before. As far as I can recall the web site was easy enough to navigate (if it wasn't, I would have remembered). The bag arrived quite quickly and I had selected pick up from a local shop, so that it wasn't left on my doorstep. It was double wrapped in polythene so was well protected from the rain. The bag is of a very good quality and has quite a lot of space. The bag is heavier than my previous bag, possibly because of the strength of the materials used. I am happy that I can now walk to my local sports hall without my bag sliding off my shoulder. So a good purchase for me. The bag was also quite a reasonable price for the quality.

Purchased nylon shuttlecorks on line Easy process. Made an error in collection details. Customer service quite swiftly resolved this. Thank you.

I bought a Nanoflare 1000z with stringing service with direct badminton. I asked for 25lbs but to my disappointment, their stringing quality was absolute horrendous, strings were out of place, quality of stringing method was bad and it did not feel like 25lbs as requested. After a few weeks the racket broke and their customer service was not helpful at all dragging the time up to 30 days and then left me with no choice.

Buyer beware! Ordered the Victor Thruster 66 Y Badminton Racket with re-string for tournament at the weekend. Parcel sent via DPD. DPD have in typical fashion delivered the parcel to an entirely different address. However, customer service personnel (mulitple) at Direct sports were repeatedly condescending, rude, apathetic and unhelpful. Requested a cancellation of the order as item required for tournament this weekend and no further use to me. Suggested Direct sports to receive their parcel back directly from DPD once investigation concluded. Direct sports refused a refund as their policy is to apparently “to wait for DPD to conclude their investigation which could take 10 days”. Thankfully received refund due to PayPal buyer protections. Company scammy and untrustworthy whether intentional or not. have protections in place if you must purchase from them

I wouldn’t use this company for a larger purchase. I bought a £175 Yonex badminton racket from them and, based on my experience, the process was far more difficult than it should have been.

Unfortunately, it had a fault (a noticeable clicking noise from the shaft). I reported the issue within 24 hours of receiving the racket and returned it shortly afterwards (within 48 hours).

I had removed the plastic handle wrap to check whether the clicking was coming from the racket itself or simply the packaging. However, I was told this meant the racket had been “accepted” and that it would need to go through a manufacturer warranty process rather than being refunded. From my understanding of UK consumer rights, faulty goods reported so quickly should normally be eligible for a refund rather than being pushed into a warranty process where there is a clear fault.

The phone call I had about the issue was dismissive and rude, which made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be. It felt like the responses were focused more on internal policy (sending the racket for inspection to Yonex) than on the fact that the product had been reported faulty almost immediately after delivery.

The racket was eventually confirmed to be faulty and the matter was resolved through my bank, but the process took around 6 weeks, making it unnecessarily long for what should have been a straightforward return of a defective item.

Purchased Babalot badminton ‘court’ shoes. I’m a weekly club player in my late 60’s. Excellent product. Delighted I was able to get size 9.5 rather than having to settle for 10 and use 2 pairs of socks. Very happy with everything.

Had my racquet restrung which it looks and feels all good. Will buy from here again.

Ordered three items, to which only one was delivered. I rung customer services, who stated they had carried out an investigation and determined that all items were delivered. I told them the bag used could not have fit 3 items in, however I have been made out to be a liar. Will never use again, nor would I recommend to anyone.

I bought this NCS badminton for a try, and found that it is pretty good, traveling very much same as feather shutters and last much longer.
Usually we use 2 Victor Master shutters for one session. The first one NCS lasts for 2 sessions.

i have not got my racket until now. Royal mail and direct badminton has betrayed me by saying 1 day delivery. so pathetic with delivery system. they come to my place. then i will get a email saying delivery attempted , but no response and will go back for past 1 week
