We visited the Diddly Squat farm shop in October, whilst we were in the area for a few days.
We purchased some lovely products as Christmas presents and treated ourselves to one of the Grow your own mushroom kits.
Unfortunately we had to delay starting our crop, due to being away and so unable to care for them correctly.
On our return from holiday and keen to start our mushroom adventure, we discovered that the mushrooms had been a little too eager in our absence and had started to grow, despite not being activated!
We contacted the Diddly Squat customer services through the online form and received a super fast reply, apologising for the over zealously growing mushrooms and offering us a replacement.
The replacement box was sent within a few days and we were updated with tracking information, so we knew when to expect them.
The communication and customer care we received from Sarah was excellent.
With our experience we would not hesitate to buy from them again.

I ordered Jam from shop as Christmas present. When this arrived the jars were open and spilled so unable to use as gift.
I have tried several times to contact shop, yet to receive a response.
Customer service is appalling.....and no response on here to previous reviews.
Do not buy online as it appears everyone is having issues

Willing to give them a second chance
I am upgrading my review from 1 to 3 stars. An order that went astray after it arrived at the Evri depot, was sent again and arrived the next day. It took quite a few emails before there was a reply, but when picked up, the service was helpful and friendly. I think it’s a case of ‘overwhelming demand’ and not enough resource to handle it so I am hoping, for the sake of the existing staff, the shop will hire some more folk to spread the load a bit. It’s really easy to get things wrong, but I do get that the shop is a victim of its own success. Anyway, thank you to Sarah for sorting.
Ordered the sweet bundle online
Ordered the sweet bundle online. When it arrived, the lid on the jam was loose and had leaked everywhere damaging the box and the other products. The lid on the honey was loose too. Have emailed every day for a week and had zero response. The customer service is utterly appalling. Will never buy anything from them again, and like one other reviewer said, it's kind of spoilt things now. Loved watching Clarkson's Farm, but don't feel the same about it anymore if this is the way it treats its customers.

It does exactly what it says on the tin
It come as no great surprise to find the ratings so low. Trying to get in touch with this retail company is impossible. They don’t reply to email and there is no number to contact. So I will continue to chase my tail in the pursuit of my daughters £40 purchase from the farm shop.
I guess if you buy from Diddly Squat then don’t be surprised if that’s what you get.

Order never received, no response from customer service
I have ordered €150 worth of product for a birthday that ended up being delivered to the airport of Spain instead of our address and was signed for by someone completely unknown to me. I have emailed them multiple times since September 20th to resolve the issue and still have not received even a response after a month of waiting. Extremely disappointed and I feel a bit soured on the show now to be honest.

Emailed weekly and still no reply, no items or no refund.
Very sad as they were for my husbands birthday.

Customer service is non existent. Made an on line order and product received in wrong size. Quality of coffee cup is poor! Really surprised that Jeremy would be associated with something so poor!

Today we visited diddly squat farm we got there about 10.30 ish parked the car no problem. We decided to get some breakfast we had a sausage roll and a bacon roll tea and coffee it was very nice. We then joined the queue for the farm shop it took around 50 minutes not too bad. We got some bits from the shop had a great experience thanks
Order never received
Ordered goods and paid for next day service- total of £39.07 on 13th June - 12 1/2 weeks ago. I sent weekly emails chasing the order and each time Ned replied apologising and promised the order would be shipped within 3 days. After 7 weeks I asked for a refund which still hasn't been processed. I cannot believe a business with such a high profile can treat its customers like this. 1 star seems too high - feel like I have been robbed ☹️

Truly dreadful online service
As with the previous reviewer, I returned an item as incorrect item sent. Two weeks later and still no replacement has been received and no return postage refund. If Jeremy is serious about running an online shop, he needs to sort his processes out as they are absolutely shocking. I would not recommend buying anything from them. After much ado, the issue was eventually resolved.

I ordered a t-shirt which arrived promptly but was the wrong design and size. I returned it as instructed by Ned, emailed the receipt and nothing. I've emailed several times and am now being ignored. I am going to contact Trading Standards now, l'm not sure how else to recover my money.
I wonder if Jeremy is aware of this very poor service?
My original review was 19/08/2024 and you reply in Feb 2025. This is the level of service given!!!!

Came to the farm today
Came to the farm today - brought friends visiting from overseas - shame ques were so long - but that just goes to show how popular you are.
Only one thing I want to mention - ladies/ disabled toilet facilities rather lacking as one was blocked with broken flush- but my main concern is the disabled toilet is not really up to being called a disabled toilet. You’d have a hard job getting a manual wheelchair in there, let alone an electric one. I know it’s a farm - but you’re better off not saying you have one as it’s misleading. I work with disabled children everyday and if I read there was a disabled toilet, I’d like to be able to think I or they could use it.

Received a T shirt as a present ordered by my daughter. Looked ok visually but after 3 wears and one wash developed a hole at centre of back. You could see it was a manufacturing fault. Took pics etc and contacted dsf expecting they would be happy to replace. How wrong was I? Not interested as it had been washed and apparently worn “multiple times” Recommend you don’t buy unless you are happy for clothing items to last a week. Don’t think I’ve ever been treated to such a poor customer service experience…

Beautiful bur busy
Overall we really really love visiting this farm. The products a good quality and some of the food we had we loved however the beef burger was a bit disappointing and dry
What makes the day hard are the queues we did not find the parking an issue but the line to get into the shop was insane and an over an hour
. However the food line was a lot shorter and there weren't many seats.
Overall such a stunning area with great produce somewhat ruined by the masses.
Absolutely Fantastic
Just got back from visiting the Big Guy's farm shop. It was fantastic!!. Don't know what people are on about with the parking? And yes it was a bit expensive (to be expected really). But the food is amazing, the beer is some of the best I've ever tasted, and the cider. Got myself a few bits to take home. I cant recommend it enough, i will definitely be returning in the future. And i will most certainly be buying more Hawkstone!!
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. I placed an order back in June and still have not received. I have emailed on several occasions and now I'm being ignored! No phone number to contact either.
I received a wooden spoon saying sorry for the mix up, just not expectable considering how bad the reviews are.
