They lost my parcel!!!
A parcel was sent on 31/03/26. Was stuck in Germany for a few days but ok... When it reached Greece, it was out for delivery delayed again and NO ONE SHOWED UP even so they claimed someone tried to deliver it. I was home all day and no one tried to ring on my door bell or called me. So it went back to the depot/sorting center. I called DHL and they said it will be out for delivery again the next day...So I waited home again, and no one showed up. So I called once more for the CS to tell me that it didnt go for delivery. So I asked for it to be ready at the reception of the sorting center and I'd go pick it up. CS told me okay, come the next day from 11am at x gate x door. Drove 40+ minutes there, paid tolls, gaz... Only for the parcel to not be ready at the sorting center (it was 2pm). Someone said a manager should have agreed for the parcel to be collected, OK but how is that any of my business? I have been told to come and collect from 11am... Anyway I waited at the sorting center for them to retrieve my parcel in the warehouse... No one at the office was moving a finger. Also I called CS multiple time to ask them if they have further information while people physically in the office weren't so helpful... I then asked to speak to someone. higher up (I hate having doing this) and this is when things started moving a little... They looked in the system, made a few calls to just tell me that the parcel was lost. They can't physically find it. It's gone. WTH?? That probably was given to another courrier???? This was on 09/04/26 and today it is 16/04/26, I made a call an hour ago to CS and they told me they'd give me a call back. I am waiting for multiple calls back. Nothing. This is VERY lazy and can't fight my case to the original merchant to get another parcel, because on the tracking it says "modified delivery details" when I asked for it to be collected, not a change of my own address... It is an electronic device so most probably was stolen at some point. THIS IS BAD, this whole experience just proves the incompetence of many of people working for DHL at many stages... One job can't be done.
Terrible service
I was waiting the whole day at the house for the delivery, after getting confirmation from an agent that my package was out for delivery. Then later in the evening I see a remark that a delivery was attempted which is a complete lie as noone had come.
Incompetent and their staff are liars.

After calling the office to see where it was, I was firstly lied to and told a delivery attempt had been made, but when we told them we had been here all day and no one came, they switched their story to “we are very busy today, you’ll have it tomorrow between 1100 and 1800”. A second day of our holiday wasted thanks to shoddy and non-existent customer service. Will never use them again.
Can’t DHL deliver by themselves?

That day they gave the parcel to another shipping company. WTF ???? A shipping company that give her job to another shipping company ???? You can always CLOSE your “Franchise” in Greece IF you are unable to do deliveries yourself and let the local companies do their job.
DHL Athens = Speedex = a nightmare
DHL Athens does not deliver the package themselves, but hands it to SPEEDEX, which is a notoriously slow, unreliable and dishonest courier service in Greece. They claim that they tried to deliver the package to you but you weren't home, which is a lie. They have no customer service besides a crappy chat bot and there is absolutely no way to contact them. It is extremely disappointing that DHL, which is a reliable shipping company in other countries, has decided to partner with such an unreliable company in Greece.

Για δεύτερη φορά πήρα μήνυμα ότι δεν με βρήκατε. ΨΕΥΔΕΣ! Σήμερα μάλιστα έμεινα σπίτι για να σας περιμένω. Δηλώθηκε ψευδώς πάλι ότι δεν με βρήκατε. Επίσης ενώ μου έχετε στείλει τα sms στο κινητό. όταν έδωσα το κινητό στη αναγνώριση στοιχείων, το ρομποτικό δήλωσε ότι δεν το αναγνωρίζει! Έτσι έμεινα με την ταλαιπωρία στο ρομποτικό σας σύστημα χωρίς αποτέλεσμα. Απαράδεκτη υποστήριξη πελατών. Είδα σχόλια με το ίδιο πρόβλημα από Κωνσταντίνος Μ. και η Aa T. και Γιάννης Π.
Τελικά απογοητεύτηκα από την DHL Περίμενα μία σοβαρή εταιρεία και δεν είναι.

DHL Athens cooporates with Speedex. Speedex one of the much worse couriers - but looks like they are also cheap, thats why this cooperation happens.
The customer support says different things, and finally your are running your parcel behind.
At the end of the day I managed it by myself! Well, thanks to me!

The Assistant at DHL Office found my package,allthough it was sent with another firm.
Thanks to her I found my package.

DHL Couriers Falsely Mark Deliveries as Refused and Reschedule Without Consent
Order with tracking number 4017751780 – The delivery was scheduled for today (11 August 2025), and the tracking shows “Recipient refuses delivery,” which is completely false. I have been at home all day waiting for the package, and I also have 24-hour surveillance cameras confirming that no DHL courier has attempted to deliver the shipment. When contacting the company, they admitted that the courier had recorded the package as refused by mistake (apparently as an excuse for not coming).
Order scheduled for last Friday (8 August 2025) – On this occasion, the courier rescheduled the delivery date without my consent, claiming that his delivery route did not pass by my address that day. This is not only unprofessional but also unjustifiably delays the receipt of the order.

Avoid DHL GR for import, by all means…
We regularly import parts and spares for our equipment from Canada. Despite the sender consistently providing the required documentation and us submitting additional clarifications when requested, DHL Greece’s service has been extremely slow and inefficient. They fail to provide timely status updates, repeatedly request unnecessary documents with no valid reason, and their customer service is unhelpful and often rude. Due to these ongoing issues, we have advised all our contacts to avoid using DHL Greece under any circumstances.

DHL is the company that sends you message that they ll deliver today until 18:00 and they dont even call you..plus the attitude that their employees have like their doing open heart surgery.chill guys and deliver the package you ve been paid to do its not like you do me a favour..so i got the message that you ll deliver and noone came. you are not definitely professionals.never again with DHL...neeever!
Bad service ...
Parcel coming from Germany shipped on 08-5 arrived in Greece on 10-5, 2 days to arrive in Greece. Until now, 16-5 no sign of parcel ... DHL had a famous reputation for delivery on time, now ... horrible !!!
In the future I prefer not to buy from dealers who ship with DHL.
Slow, unreliable, useless
3 weeks (and counting) for a small parcel from Germany to Greece.
Strapping it to a turtle and have it walk over here would be faster.
This is their way of forcing the 'premium' shipping option down your throat, punishing the customer for picking the standard option (which is not cheap, just *cheaper*).
Their answer? None, they don't give a f***k. What are you gonna do? Just wait and pray to any gods you believe in that everything is ok so you don't have to deal with these people ever again.

Misinformation from the start. Uk told me the £75 I was paying there was the total amount due. I was then charged €55 for dhl to clear my old used item plus another €25 in duty. The process has been painful as well as expensive. No reply to emails. Days of delay. Impossible customer service ( well intentioned individuals unable to answer the simplest questions.) I feel ripped off and abused. Don't use this service unless you want to have stress and be ripped off. Never again. No.mention of their "fee" for clearing customs until there is no choice. This is extortion and should be illegal. It is an additional cost taken by dhl and they are not transparent. Nobody ever returns calls and it is a shambles.
