Wow I'm imoressed how they pay always on time without any delay. I investment in plan of 10 days and oayment was received on the 9th day. Fabulous!

I ordered a large item from David Hinds which they swiftly dispatched forwarding an E-mail of confirmation. Unfortunately I opted to use the free next day delivery which is carried out by TNT. My package was delivered by TNT to a local school on the Monday Morning. I was contacted by David Hinds by telephone Tuesday morning as the school had contacted them. They were apologetic and very helpful stating they would arrange for TNT to collect and re delivery. That afternoon a TNT lorry arrived at home home without the parcel! The driver was very confused and said he remembered delivering my parcel to the school.
I rang David Hinds who contacted TNT again. Wednesday came and went still without my parcel. I contacted TNT who agreed they should have collected it the previous day but admitted it was still at the School. They offered to redeliver it to me Friday. By now I didn't not trust that they would not lose it again and contacted the school who luckily agreed I could collect it from them. On doing so Found the original dispatch label with my address clearly displayed on the box.

Excellent fast delivery of my order; it arrived the next day.
The Baader front and back jump covers for my old Baader SkySurfer V red dot finder enabling me to much more conveniently and safely
locate without 'goto' and manually follow the sun for H alpha and white light observations, compared to a small solar finder.

I had decided that I wanted a C11 as an upgrade to my C8 which I have had for many years. The telescope was proving hard to source but I then discovered that David Hinds appeared to have them for immediate delivery. One quick email to Lee Sproats to confirm this was the case and a couple of days later my new C11 was delivered promptly, well-packaged (including double-boxing) and in pristine condition!

I have only managed to attach the scope to my EQ-6R mount and add some separately ordered ancillaries but I am very pleased with my new telescope and the delivery service. The weather has prevented me from using the scope "in anger" so far but hopefully this will change in the not too distant future!

Filter set arrived on time as ordered. It's off to Mars now!

Was waiting for an item to come into stock. Had an email notification the minute it came it. Ordered it about 1.30 to 2. They state on line next day delivery for orders placed before 12, but to my surprise it still arrived the next day, even though I know they were busy with orders. They are so friendly and approachable and so helpful. 100% recommend the service is outstanding .

Notified immediately the telescope came into stock. The order was then delivered less than 24 hours later...

Overall my experience of purchasing a telescope through David Hinds was really good. Although the item was out of stock initially, they came back to me as soon as stocks were replenished. From that point on my order was completed and confirmed within minutes. What further impressed me was the item was delivered before noon the next day and to the correct address.
Boy was my son happily surprised!!
