This is my story of trouble with CAPITAL LINK PROPERTY
This is my story of trouble with booking at apartment via. Booking.com and losing GBP 2,287.
I booked this property "Collection at the Maddison" on September 4th, from September 6th to September 14th, via booking.com. My check-in time was after 4 pm - it is obvious that i was not required to make the check-in exactly at 4 pm.
In brief, i arrived at that property around 6 pm and there was no rep. of the propco in the lobby of the building. No one met me to hand-over the keys, the property manager never called me, never send a whatssup picked up multiple calls at the phone number indicated om the profile at booking.com: +44-7491-747632 - they never responded, including also via messaging up on booking.com itselfd, and never called back.
I called the booking.com customer service immediately upon arrival when i figured out they did not show up, from the peoperty location, describing the situation and registering their no-show. The CR said that upon investigation, they are going to decide if they return the money or not.
I moved to a nearby hotel awaiting the results of their invetigation, with full assurance that this is a fraud and booking.com will refund my money.
Eventually, nothing was returned.
Then the propco cancelled the booking due to my alleged “no-show” - which is of course a lie - and kept the money. Booking com responded that that property is legit, and they trust the propco report about “no-show” by me and they cannot refund me the money because are “just intermediaries” and are not guarantee anything on their platform. They also made a stupid proposal for me to liase with the propco, who never responded on the phone or email or messaging app.
My take is this:
1) Booking.com is complicit with their partner's fraud and intentional criminal activity of stealing custometr's funds
2) Booking.com is incapable of performing any proper "investigtion" but simply takes the side of the propco partner, because they without hesitation relied on their claim about my alleged "no-show" which is an obvious lie, because i was at that property and immediately called Booking.com registering absence of the propco rep at the site.
