Refused me an Invoice and no after-sales service
When I asked for a final Invoice/receipt for the blinds once they had been fitted and paid for, he made an excuse and refused to give me one. Alarm bells went off at this time. Then I needed to know how to remove the blinds to clean the windows. Again he refused to come out and didn't reply to any further messages. A NON EXISTENT after-sales service and the brackets have been put up in a crooked fashion which is why they cannot easily be taken down.

Paid 275 for 1 blind for kitchen window . fitter only works on saturdays most inconvinient. fitted and left blind open on window . after he had left I drew blind across and saw that a vertical slate had been left off, leaving big gap at the top . rang immediatley. Fitter rang back and offered to remake blind. I just want rid of it looks terrible cheap and plasticy uneven spacing . Overall bad experience. Have tried contacting them by email and telephone. Have visited the location of their premises. No sign of life. NO showroom and above all no response from the company. Salutry lesson learnt.
We had a very disappointing experience
We had a very disappointing experience. After taking a quick look through some of Paul's samples and choosing one we were interested in, he gave us a rough price. It was slightly higher than what we were hoping to spend, so we mentioned that to him. Without saying a single word in response, he gathered up his samples and simply walked out of our home. The abruptness and lack of basic courtesy were honestly surprising and quite rude.

First Paul turned up to measure stinking of alcohol concerning in its self we then had Alan who was actually nice the fitter to come for the shutters they was measured wrong (probably because Paul was drunk when measuring them up ) any way after about 15 phone calls 20 texts to try and get them to finish the job also spoke to may in the office who wasn’t helpful Alan was the only one who would pick up the phone ! They were eventually fitted but honestly I would NOT NEVER RECOMMEND them at all to any way I personally think they are over priced for what they are DO NOT USE !!!!!!
cheap shutters which don’t fit. …
We had shutters fitted by this company and what a mistake. They didn’t fit and attempted again to fit them but we still couldn’t close them. They are cheap wood covered in eggshell paint. We had specifically said we wanted the plastic coated shutters. We had to get a joiner to refit them and it was a major job. He said they weren’t square. Fortunately he was a superb joiner, but we will be getting rid of them when we can afford to get a decent company in to fit good quality shutters. Total waste of money. Not sure of the date they were fitted, took me ages to calm down after the shambles.

Rude beyond words
What a very rude man, we had a brief look at some of Paul's samples, picked one out we quite liked, he then gave us a rough idea of what it would cost us, it was a tad more than we wanted to pay as i like to change them quite regularly, when we mentioned this to him he picked his samples up and without another word walked out of our house.

They have had a payment on an order from my parents who are aged in their 80s since 12th December 2024 and the order is still not fulfilled nearly 3 months later.
Broken promises and assurances of resolution were made but they are no further forward and this is adding to the worry and stress with my dad recuperating after time in hospital.
It says it all about any moral compass that the directors (Paul Pollard-Fraser and May (Mesarut) Pollard-Fraser) have that they are knowingly letting this happen.

One star is too much for this company they are an absolute disgrace ! And they need to be closed down ! I am so annoyed we paid £3000 up front for shutter blinds that didn't fit because Paul had measured them wrong and Alan the fitter tried to adapt with a load of filler he just slapped on and screws into the actual shutters just to hold the them in place which cause further damage, added to this Paul is extremely rude -a complete cow boy and rip off merchant - Do not use this company !!!

Due to absolutely appalling service from this so called company it is costing us alot of money to completely replace our patio door blinds because they have refuses to answer my calls messages for months. They will not come out to replace a broken slat that was cracked in the first place. Paul should be ashamed of such a disgusting company he runs. DONT USE THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO.

Do not use!!! Over priced show you good samples and supply cheap thin binds make you pay upfront for cheap and nasty blinds arrive late and measured wrong!! Nightmare!!
SHOCKING service
SHOCKING service. Paid for 3 fitted solar velux blinds upfront. One broke within months, took forever to get it replaced only for it to break again within weeks. I have lost count of the phone calls and emails made to Deva blinds since March with no response. When you call Alan or Paul are always 'out' so unable to take your call, but never respond to messages left.
Do not use this company.

We ordered 27 perfect fit blinds from Paul who did the measuring and very quickly took our money up front. No paperwork followed despite our requests. Annoyed with myself by paying over £4000 upfront! Very expensive for what they are. Less than half arrived to be fitted by Alan who was very apologetic and said that Paul had measured them wrongly. Said he’d sort it and reorder. Tried to ring Paul but he declined to speak to us, no apology or explanation from Paul. Alan returned with the rest of the blinds but there was still a problem. It took over six weeks and 3 different visits to get the blinds fitted and no apology whatsoever from Paul or the company. Disgusting appalling service from this company and they are still getting away with treating customers atrociously. Please don’t use this company!! Please heed the warnings in all the reviews!

Paul made appointment 2-5pm. I was expected to wait around for 3 hours but the day before he told me it would be 2pm or not at all as he worked ‘long hours!’ Plenty of other shutter sellers around. Glad I missed this one with that sort of attitude. Quite rude emails too for a company. Hardly professional! Have since read the other reviews and realise I had a lucky escape!
Rotten customer service and fitting problems.
The plantation blinds were quite nice. The fitter was not very skilled, and had to be advised how to fit them properly by another tradesman who was in the house at the time. He walked off with the job incomplete, but in fairness did come back to finish when we called him. The finish was not very tidy in parts.
My main complaint though is the rotten customer support. If you have a problem, you will be on your own. They would not come back to fix a few minor issues for us, arguing instead over whether the year was up or not. We think not, but as they have stopped responding to calls or texts, I can only think they disagree! I warned them that I would feel the need to write this review if they continued to ignore me, but they weren't interested.
They were not cheap. You can't run a business like this. Avoid if you can I'm afraid.
We had an appalling experience
We had an appalling experience. We ordered large motorised blinds for our conservatory roof. Very quickly there were problems. they didnt work properly and fell down. At various times they returned to fix these issues, but eventually the runners holding up the structure fell down and the whole system was useless. Having paid more than £2k we repeatedly chased them asking for rectification when this happened. They totally ignored us. The blind was not fit for purpose. We ended up going to court to get our money back. The court found in our favour, there's now a CCJ against them. Yet unbelievably they still haven't paid up. I will post reviews about what happened to warn others. Please now pay up Deva Blinds as you are legally bound to do.

*AVOID* We recently moved into a new build and requested venetian blinds throughout the house. Against my better judgement we paid up front.
We picked Deva blinds because they advertise home made blinds of high quality. In fact the owner Paul Pollard-Fraser said his wife makes them. The blinds we ordered certainly were not made by his wife. They were ordered off the internet, judging by the packaging that the fitter brought.
Anyway the blinds were fitted a week later by an intimidating man called Alan.
The quality of the job was of an extremely poor standard. I watched him on a couple of them and couldn't see anything wrong so I left him to it.
However I have noticed that the decorative fascia that fit on the front of the blinds didn't quite fit, So what did Alan do? He made them fit without cutting them down by ramming them into the smaller space and has subsequently cracked all the plaster work on 3 of the windows. If he had just taken two minutes to file them down there wouldn't have been a problem.
In addition on the wider windows he didn't put a centre support so the blinds are bowing in the middle. I am in the process of fixing the issue myself because I don't want that guy anywhere near them. Clearly doesn't know what he is doing.
We also asked for some vertical blinds on some bi-fold doors thankfully they were out of stock so we asked for a refund. We did get the refund after a few calls but were short changed by 40p. Make of this what you will but I would avoid these guys at all costs. I'm just sorry we didn't read the reviews before arranging for this service.
