They’re the sort of thing that can make everyday pursuits feel a little bit deluxe. We believe that proper pyjamas are to leisure what butter is to toast, a way of turning something quite ordinary into something quite magical.
It all started with women’s pyjamas. Now we make them for men and kids too, plus a handful of other snazzy things for around the home, like slippers, socks, and extra-deluxe robes.
Each collection brings with its prints. Each print is an artwork in its own right, inspired by travel and by life— Spanish palm, Greek myths, graceful tigers—hand-painted in our London studio. They’re printed onto organic cotton, hand-cut and sewn in Portugal. We then wrap them

- We always want our PJs to offer a sense of cosiness and ease, but this year—of all years—we want to take things up a notch. We believe that proper pyjamas are what butter is to toast. A way of turning something quite ordinary into something quite magical. We've been making fancy pyjamas since 2014. Our latest collection, LoveSleeps, has just launched. A collection that was inspired by a Monastery and a Temple, on an island off the coast of Naples - Ischia. Joel and Molly, visited in August 2024 for a long weekend and were so moved by the space, by the quiet and creativity that came from rest that our studio has created not only a new seasonal collection, but a new chapter and calling card for D&D: “and on the seventh day there was rest”. The collection pays ode to the heavenly parts of rest. The freedom it allows our minds. It’s also an homage to the summer days that we pray last forever but eventually become a dream. We offer free monogramming for all. Initials, emblazoned across a pocket. A practical, no nonsense luxury. Whether you’re buying for yourself, your crew, your mate, your man, your mother, if a bigger power move exists, we’re yet to hear of it.
Our pyjamas come in a rather splendid box covered in leopards, secured in tissue with a free Sunday Paper to dive into.

Lovely linen set !
As always quick delivery and I love the new linen pyjama set. It’s so nice to see that the trousers are cropped , which is suitable for petite like me , and the pockets on the trousers are extra nice! Glad I ordered a medium size , as I found the jacket runs smaller in size than usual !

Fit terrible and legs seemed short
Fit terrible and legs seemed short. Also paid extra for next day delivery which didn’t come (they actually arrived 5 days later). Not sure whether this is the fault of D&D or the courier but I’ve tried contacting customers services and haven’t had a response in over a week.

We’ve looked into this on our side and weren’t able to locate an email from you in our system, however a member of our team has reached out to you directly. We’d recommend checking your spam/junk folder in case our reply has landed there.
Regarding the delivery, we’ve also checked with the courier and it appears that DPD attempted a next-day delivery, but unfortunately there was no one available to sign for the parcel at the time of delivery. For security reasons, parcels are not left without a signature unless this has been specifically requested by the customer.

My favourite loungewear ever
I'm a repeat customer because of the quality, fabrics and customer experience that D&D gives you. Their prints are so chic and the fabrics wash and wear amazingly. My pieces I've had for years are still in perfect condition. Will forever be repurchasing!

4, but not the usual 5 stars.
Big D&D fan - it’s the only sleepwear I buy, so when I saw the new arrivals I had to get the new nightdress. I had a problem with the website loyalty points vanishing - which was addressed within 24 hours and then I ordered! When the nightdress arrived the colour was different to the image on site, in reality it’s a very deep country cream - the image made it look like the lightest cream and the material is very sheer. I wasn’t sure whether to keep it or send it back. That all changed when I put it on, it was a keeper! I slept so well.
I would also add that I’m between sizes in D&D PJ’s I buy in a medium, nighties in a small. It says buy your usual size, but if you’re new to D&D I’d say with the cut of this nightie if you’re typically in between sizes, size down because there’s a lot of fabric.

November 22, 2025 Ordered Last pair of Quilted / Reversible PJ's in M. One of the snaps was broken. It has taken months of searching for a solution as product was GONE.. Between us..Mina & I, we finally have a resolution. Much appreciated. The PJ's are wonderful.

Disappointed
Ordered a pair of bottoms and a nightgown. The elastic in the bottoms keeps flipping, which is annoying but I can deal with. However, the strap on my nightgown broke after 3 wears. I own a lot of D&D and I find my older items seem to hold up better than the newer ones. I’ve written to the company with no response (not the first occasion). I used to feel their customer service was stellar, now I feel forced to leave a bad review.

This is the fourth order I've made with Desmond and Dempsey and I've always loved the brand.
Sadly, the qualify, and more importantly, customer service really let me down this time.
I ordered 4x pairs of PJs for myself and my family. Unfortunately, my pair shrunk considerably in length despite following the care label.
I have since emailed, and am now in a repetitive loop with a third person. Given the premium Brand, I had expected a more perso al level of customer service ie, the same agent. Instead, Everytime I hit reply, it goes to a new person who then asks the exact same questions and I find myself in a loop.
All I wanted was an exchange for the faulty PJs, a simple and fair request.
Still awaiting a solution.

Love My Luxe Loungewear
I knew I discovered a gem when I found D&D and now I'm mildly addicted to the brand. My friends and neighbors (because now I often walk around outside in my pjs) often compliment me on my sets; and, while I typically like to keep my style finds a secret, I've shared D&D with anyone who has asked where I've purchased my luxe loungewear. Now let's discuss the boxes ... I often use the beautiful boxes to gift things to friends but I always make sure to retrieve the box because I use them for room decor. A bit tacky of me but I just love the beautiful boxes! Lastly, I'm in the States so I applaud D&D for being so prompt in their replies and shipping. I am a fan for life!
