Never return phone calls, or they say they will call you tomorrow @ 1pm. Nope. No call back. They give promises they can't deliver. They dupe you in to getting a website built for a decent rate and then add on all these charges. The websites are even built using a template. When asked about simple changes, they say their program won't allow it to be done. Shady business. They duped me into spending more money to get social media posts made, never delivered. SEO done, never delivered. I'm taking them to court. I want my money back!!!

I initially gave Design Ratix a 5-star review early in the process, impressed by their promises and initial service. However, as the relationship progressed, I sought input from others and discovered I was being scammed. This led me to decide not to renew services with them.

Throughout the process, I noticed concerning behavior, including being pressured to renew my domains well before the deadline. When I questioned a breakdown of their pricing, their representatives became irritated and dismissive.

Design Ratix gave the impression that my purchase of the domains meant they were mine. However, they are now holding onto these domains and demanding exorbitant prices—thousands of dollars—for me to purchase them back. They used my money to buy the domains, yet retain ownership and have even taken down my website.

The previous representatives I dealt with are no longer employed, and now all communication goes through one individual, who continues to solicit more business despite my concerns. They have refused to let me simply purchase the domains outright. Instead, they are insisting I first renew for hundreds of dollars and only after a year would they allow me to purchase them for thousands of dollars.

Additionally, the website they created was never SEO-optimized while it was up. I was informed that SEO optimization would cost additional thousands of dollars, which was never clearly communicated at the start.

My updated review now aligns closely with Alan's review on TrustPilot. This behavior is deceptive, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I hope Design Ratix will address this matter ethically and return my domains, as holding onto client assets and charging exorbitant prices reflects poorly on their integrity and business practices.

Horrible they deleted my files website only lasted a year after I paid triple the price they advertised

I engaged Design Ratix in January 2023 after the company responded to my online inquiry about creating a website. Not knowing much of anything about this process (my mistake!), I was assured that all I would have to spend would be the $500 cost for the website construction. Soon came other fees: copyrighting the logo, then $420 for hosting, then $210 for security. After looking up other companys’ pricing, I balked at Design Ratix’s charges, but was then offered that the hosting and security would be lifetime (again my naivete in believing them). The associate assigned to me was polite but unresponsive – I had to make repeated calls and emails to get even minor changes implemented. In January 2024 I was contacted that I had 3 days to renew the hosting/security and had to pay another $630 or else my website would be lost. When I pointed out that my hosting was paid on February 15, 2023 and that I should have at least until Feb 15, 2024 to decide, I was informed that a year meant 330 days (I have the emails) and that if I wanted to transfer the website to another host, that would be $180. I decided I would not give these folks another cent, and my website was taken down without it ever being given to me. I realize my review differs significantly from others posted, but my overall experience with Design Ratix, which I had confirmed by speaking to other web designers, is that I was deceived, cheated, and robbed.

It took a while to capture my vision but the end result was AMAZING! It took a while to capture my vision… but i appreciated the swift return calls.

Zack Garcia and David Conner are great communicators. We are building, what I feel, a long-term relationship. They listen snd even if it’s not perfect they make it right. I am very pleased with my website and working relationship with David and Zack. I am receiving amazing compliments on my website telling me it’s well done.
