I chose Designer Safari because of their excellent reviews and professional certifications (IAGTO, KATO, etc.).

I booked an 8-day private Kenya safari including Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, and Masai Mara Basecamp Adventure. Everything was efficiently organised. The itinerary was perfect, the accommodation was beautiful and varied, and our guide George was absolutely fantastic. It was great having the safari jeep to ourselves rather than sharing it with a group of strangers.

Even though it was the rainy season, we saw plenty of wildlife, including the Big Five, and George navigated flooded, challenging roads safely and on time. Every lodge and camp we stayed at had friendly staff and wonderful service. I’m vegetarian, and the food was always fresh, healthy, and delicious.

Communication with Designer Safari was quick and easy throughout. They even arranged a great day-only deal at the Crown Plaza at Nairobi Airport, which turned out to be lovely, especially the rooftop pool before our night flight home.

Overall, it was a wonderful and truly memorable trip. I wholeheartedly recommend Designer Safari for anyone looking for a personalised, reliable, and amazing Kenyan safari experience.

We enjoyed our safari from the beginning to the end. The people at Deerpark Luxury Stays were so awesome anything we needed was taken care of for us. We had 12 days of safari and each day was looked forward to because something was great every day. The folks from designer safari did the best job ever took care of every detail. We were a couple alone and that was awesome we had the truck and guide the entire time Traveling alone in the truck was awesome our guide was able to help us out with everything and tell us all he knew. Thank you George for all your assistance. Please book this group if you need the best time in your life.

Everything about my trip, from the planning to the execution to the things that I did and saw were all extraordinary! Alex and Designer Safari did an outstanding job. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!

The customer service provided to me was excellent! We were in very different time zones but no matter when I sent a communication, I received a response in a very timely manner.

We booked an 18 day anniversary trip with designer safaris and it was a dream come true! We had such an amazing time in Kenya and are forever thankful to Alex at Designer Safari for planning such a memorable trip for us! He took the time to get on a call with us, really listened to the type of experience we wanted and took our budget into consideration when proposing all the different camp options.

Our driver James was so nice and very knowledgeable. It was really great to have one person with us the entire time that we could build a relationship with and could customize our game drive times to our preferences.

We went to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. We loved all 3, but it was a lot to fit in for just 5 nights. The drive time between each location was like 5-7 hours and the roads weren't always great, so it got uncomfortable at times. It would have been easier to just have 2 stops, or even 1, for 5 nights just because it's a lot of time in the car. Or we would consider taking flights between instead to visit more parks.

Overall it we couldn't have been happier with how unique and exciting the experience was. We are hoping to go to Tanzania next and will definitely be reaching out to Designer Safari to help plan that trip when the time comes.

Thanks to Designer Safari, my sister and I get to enjoy safari in Masai Mara and it was just a humbling experience. Mutuma and the team organized everything for us. We also loved staying at Deepark Luxury Stays, a home away from home. All the staff were so kind and helpful.

Went on my first safari almost two weeks ago and Designer Safari made my experience perfect. So helpful and they answered all my questions fast. I couldn’t have asked for better service. As a solo traveller I felt safe and everything was well planned. So if you are planning to go on safari I can highly recommend Designer Safari. If you are staying in Nairobi I can also recommend the beautiful and peaceful Deerpark on Kunde Road 6.

We went to Masai Mara safari with Mr Julius Ngure which is a man with extremely high social competence,and a none nonsence approach. Mr Ngure is a high educated person with a long experience of wild life and an network that showes his competence and the respect from his friends . We can only say that we highly recommend him as a guide in the national parks of Kenya.

Mutuma and the team at Designer Safari could not have made the planning of this safari easier for us. The pricing and included aspects of the trip were clear and presented upfront; the communication was transparent and continous; and the chosen safari spot, &Beyond Kichwa Tembo was perfect. I couldn't recommend this team enough!

Everything was handled, the overnight lodging was great, food fantastic, pace was our own and the locals made the trip, both human and animal kingdom

I booked a 3-night stay at Mara Serena, which included a 4x4 tour guide/driver. On the first day of our trip, we decided to make some adjustments to the itinerary while on the road. Thankfully, the changes were easily and quickly accommodated, causing minimal stress.

The driver/guide was exceptional in managing our expectations and accommodating our needs, especially with our young children, aged 3 and 5.
But what really impressed me was the end-to-end experience provided by Designer. They seamlessly organized my flight back and arranged pick-up from the airport to my home. Their partnership and coordination with other providers were flawless. I highly rate the Designer for their exceptional service, which made my overall experience hassle-free and enjoyable.

The Designer Safari Agency organized the tour in a perfect manner. It was very professional, as we did not deviate from the program at all. All our expectations were perfectly met, starting from the hotels, activities and excitement. This was a perfect experience. Moreover, we were regularly contacted by the Agency and asked whether everything is OK and if we would need any assistance. This gave us a great sense of security and certainty . All the Agency's staff that we encountered during our stay were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. We felt very comfortable and safe with them. At one moment, and on the long way to a conservancy, we had an emergency situation back home. We were without internet and telephone credit. An Agency staffer reacted calmly and swiftly, enabling us to deal with the situation in no time. This was extraordinary. We are already planning the next trip with the Agency, bringing our kids this time; as we assured our selves that they will be safe and have a time of their life.

Eunice organised a very personalised safari that catered to our family safari preferences. Game lodges, hotels and internal flights/transfers were all coordinated for a stress-free experience. Would highly recommend and we would definitely use her again.

We booked three weeks of travelling throughout Kenya with our kids and parents. As such we were a larger group.
We travelled all around and through different parks/locations. The drivers were great; the locations we stayed in perfect for us with small children and elderly people.
We travelled by train, boat and car and all was well prepared. We found Designer Safari to be very forthcoming wrt our different questions, needs and remarks and also very helpful and supportive when we requested them to be. All in all a wonderful trip and one to remember!

Great experience dealing with the mother-son team of Eunice and Mutuma. We decided quite last minute on Kenya because Covid numbers were rising in South Africa, our usual choice. They gave us suggestions and ideas based on our preferences as well as their own personal knowledge/experience. Working with someone from within the country was a bonus as they had lots of insider tips. They were flexible and patient with our wishes and changes as they came up and always responded very quickly to questions. Mutuma was especially helpful, acting quickly and effectively when our flight was changed due to a visa issue. He also helped our friends do the bush/beach package in reverse order so we could overlap for a few days. We felt like 'friends' before we even landed in Kenya and finished off our last three days in Nairobi playing golf with Eunice - and that woman can hit the ball! Such a pleasure Eunice - thanks for taking the time to show us the quality of golf in Nairobi. We really appreciated the warm, professional and patient service we received from Designer Safari and look forward to our next adventure with you!

We booked this trip one week before travelling due to the COVID-19 country restrictions. Mutuma was very supportive in holding the bookings whilst we ensured that we had all the necessary documents in hand to travel.

The itinerary that was shared was clear, Mutuma regularly checked in with us and made some super recommendations for lunch in Watamu.

Overall a wonderful trip and can't thank you enough!
