I purchased two lamps, one is great. Love it. The other is beautiful but firstly I noticed the gold rim was coming away from the paper although initially didnt think this would cause an issue. Due to the weakness of this fault and the poor quality of the paper on the lamp there are 3 sections that have ripped due to the pressure required for the wire brace to expand it. Ive contacted Dennis Did it 2 times via email and had no response. Ive messaged on their website. Ive also read the policies on faulty products and customer service time frames for issue resolution yet have not had any luck. I am not looking for a refund, I just want a lamp replacement that is not faulty. It's important to note I have various paper lamps and have never had this issue with ripping due to pressure and faulty manufacturing. I don't generally like to write negative reviews before I have a resolution, however it seems this is the only option to have my issue resolved. Due to the price of these lamps I'd expect better quality and customer service. I do hope this can be resolved.

Purchased a bigger is better lamp which arrived broken, seems to be made of poor quality materials. Still trying to sort out a replacement or refund but team are not very responsive.

Bought something off their website a while back. Wasn't cheap but saw good reviews and had no reason to doubt it. Immediately knew something was off when I opened the package and saw the original packaging from a cheap Chinese manufacturer thay they're obviously drop-shipped from. I then wrote up a bad review, saying it was faulty, and it was submitted for review. Someone from their customer service team reached out and asked me to explain the issue. I sent photos and even video showing how poorly the product worked. I was offered the option of either a partial refund or credit to go towards buying a new product. Seeing as I didn't want to buy another faulty item, I had no option but to accept the partial refund. But my review was never posted to their website. With hindsight, I now know only positive "reviews" can be seen under the product listing, so no one is ever the wiser. I'd rate 0 stars if I could - dodgy as.
Overpriced but for the most part they have a nice selection of homewares. Their sale is an illusion, unfortunate that a lot the nicer items are no longer available seems like they aren’t restocking and if they do and remove the sale then it’s not a deal as same items are less expensive elsewhere. Nothing has changed on their website since Christmas
Really poor experience with my preorder of the Puffball lamp. Ordered as advertised for Christmas delivery. Received multiple emails advising me of on time dispatch, followed by no shipping or update. The item ended up arriving weeks after Christmas.
The quality of the product is poor for the price you pay - light plastic, cheaply made with design shortcuts. Recommend buying a secondhand retro lamp instead
I ordered their Puffball lamp as a Christmas present, and despite telling me a week before Christmas that it would be dispatched mid-week, it wasn't. It looks like I will receive it tomorrow, January 7th, despite asking for a refund TWICE before they posted it.
Dealing with their customer service was unhelpful. I asked for a refund, but magically, the day I asked, a shipping label was printed. I was then told it was dispatched and on its way to me, despite the AusPost link they sent me saying only the label had been printed. I pointed this out and I asked for a refund a second time, they responded they were "committed to resolving this" and "I assure you we’re doing everything in our power to prevent it from being dispatched" with the aim for a refund. Two days later, it was picked up by Australia Post.
Their ordering system has no flexibility. I'm betting now that I will receive the lamp, the return will be at my own cost and I will be charged their 'restocking fee'.
Thanks for the reply and flagging this review... and all the other 1 star reviews here, I will add the following. Your company sent me an email with the subject "Your Pre-Order is Dispatching This Week" you can't say that you had thousands of orders and they were distributed fairly if you are sending an email with that title. I then had to follow up to find out what was happening, there was no hast in resolving it until I started asking for a refund.

My experience with Dennis Did It was one of the most frustrating and disappointing e-commerce interactions I’ve ever had. I ordered an item that was never delivered, and when I followed up, the company initially blamed Australia Post for the issue as it was sent to my parcel locker. However, after contacting Australia Post myself, I was informed that the package had been labelled incorrectly by Dennis Did It - it went to the correct post office, but to someone else’s parcel locker.
Even with this clear evidence, Dennis Did It was reluctant to acknowledge their mistake and took no meaningful action to resolve the issue. It took multiple emails, escalating frustration, and mentioning the ACCC before they finally issued a refund for the item and postage. This entire process felt unnecessarily adversarial and unprofessional.
The lack of accountability, dismissive customer service (that oozes with all the hallmarks of a ChatGPT response), and the time wasted resolving this situation were completely unacceptable. If I hadn’t been persistent, I doubt the issue would have been resolved at all. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company and look elsewhere for reliable service.

I wish I looked into this dodgy company properly before I made my lamp purchase. I ordered at the very beginning of December and the website indicated it was a pre-order to be shipped out mid Dec, arriving by Christmas. Well guess what, after 2 weeks, I emailed them to follow up and was made a false promise of it coming "late December" and a tracking number as soon as it was "ready". Now the year has come to an end and yes Dennis did it - I have received nothing, Dennis conned me of my money and disappeared with it.

I ordered the mushroom lamp beginning of December expecting it to arrive on time for a Christmas. Their website stated that item was in stock and promise to be delivered within the week. I then get an email saying it is a pre order item and will dispatch mid December, I let it go since they promise it will come before xmas. It was originally an order for a Xmas present and has not even arrive or dispatch , no tracking number. Again they told me it is a pre order when their website clearly says in stock. This is extremely misleading and have email the company for a refund. I have not heard back. Please do not make promises for quick delivery if cannot be fulfil, I ordered this early December so this experience has not been great at all

Ordered and paid 26/11/24 and tracking said it was shipped 27/11/24 to Brisbane. This was meant to be a gift for Xmas and I am still waiting. Have now 24/12/24 asked for a refund. Very disappointed. Maybe the company should dial back from advertising for Christmas discounts everywhere if they can’t be trusted to deliver.

I adore my new butter dish! It's pretty and lovely addition to my kitchen! mainly just use it as decor which I love and I've had so many compliments.
I bought the Brass Portable Lamp from them and the first thing I noticed was how LIGHT and poor quality it was. The light colours are not as advertised..
The battery literally did not last - only just an hour before dimming significantly. It also keeps turning on by itself and draining the battery flat. I contacted them and it’s been so difficult to get my money back. Now they have ghosted me for days AND my account login has been disabled.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
This lamp costed $110 just for me to find out now it’s the EXACT same as the one we just got from Amazon for $34. You can also find it on Temu. Kmart also sells this for $17 so spend your money there.
They talk a big game about how “superior” their products are. They do not try to do anything but sell you fancy images and false hope. You are paying for their website and money in their pocket for them rip you off.
I have also just noticed suddenly this trust pilot review page has gotten an influx of “positive reviews” after a few negative ones they got. I suspect these are all fake by the owners. Look at the negative reviews and you know what trickery this business does. I will get in contact with Trustpilot to have this reported.

Facts delivery and the colour of the Siren lamp is actually the same as what is online for once. I have ordered before and will again. This is my go-to place Christmas and birthday gifts. :)
i don't think i'll be getting anything other than this brands lamps in the foreseeable further. Really helpful company, I accidentally tore my lamp shade while I was putting it together and they send me a new one promptly. I definitely did not expect that kind of service!

Ordered one of their gold touch lamps when on sale because I couldn’t justify the regular price. Arrived damaged, the product had been soldered so poorly and half heartedly that the top of the lamp had snapped off in transit and therefore the touch to turn on/off did not work. Contacted customer service and they were great, quick to send a replacement. However, the replacement did not work at all. Must have been some kind of wiring/electrical fault because it would not turn on at all even with charging. Best I could get was a millisecond flash of light when I used the power button at the base of the lamp. Contacted customer service again and they were more than happy to refund me. I’ve got no problem with their customer service team they were very helpful throughout, but their product is not good. The quality doesn’t reflect the price they are charging and like others who have left reviews, I’m fairly sure they are drop shipping at least some of their products. My AusPost notification said my package was being sent from (REDACTED), although can’t go back and check the finer details because it was from 10 months ago. I left a review on their website which was never published, was worded very similarly to this one. Save your money, their nicely curated social media accounts don’t show the poor quality of the products.
EDIT: Dennis Did It requested I remove the shipping details from this review as they claimed it breached privacy guidelines. I stand by my comment that I believe their products are drop-shipped.
EDIT 2: Dennis Did It then proceeded to flag my review as ‘defamatory’ and tried to have it removed. The request was denied by TrustPilot.

The lamp I received, is their flagship piece shown in all their advertisements. The lamp was not at all how it was shown in the advert, it created a harsh light, and it felt cheap and poorly made.
I decided to return the lamp, which was very costly as had to be packaged and sent with my money, over £30. I emailed customer service to notify them and ask to be kept up to date. a month later, the tracked shipping notified me that the package had not been received no attempt had been made to collect it, and of course, I have received no refund.
Waste of money and time.
They have refunded me, however, I still cannot recommend this product.

Purchased the Portable Metal Touch Lamp, extremely poor quality for the price, and did not display the colours advertised (not warm at all, and didn't even cycle through colours as advertised). Later did some googling and found most of their stock (including the lamp I bought) on Temu for a fifth of the price so will be seeking a refund. Don't buy from a fake site posing as something of much higher quality.
