I engaged this firm through a trusted referral, seeking strategic guidance for my small business growth. After a promising initial consultation, I invested in their business budget and financial consulting services. What followed was disappointing on multiple levels.
The deliverable was a complex financial model that failed to address fundamental business considerations. While technically sophisticated, it missed crucial real-world factors affecting my decision-making: insurance costs, facility requirements, training investments, and quality control implications. These oversights made their primary recommendation - expanding through hiring - impractical for my situation.
Communication was consistently poor. Multiple weeks passed without updates on progress or timeline. When I provided feedback about the budget's shortcomings, I received an invoice for additional work hours. Before even addressing these concerns, they attempted to cross-sell additional accounting services.
