As an 8th grader i feel extreamly concerned and feel like my privacy is being invaided i do not mind if something like this was just inside of school but no its outside of school also i do know the school owns it so its technicly not spyware but that just feels like an excuse to use it i feel like something like this should be banned specificly outside school use
Deledao makes me angry when something is blocked on my school computer.
First, I know for a fact that teachers shouldn't have to look at students to see if they're doing their work. Teachers shouldn't be monitoring their students 24/7 because they're involved in extracurricular activities or doing their work. Second, it gives me a screen of "Oops, there's nothing to see here. Your School thinks you should explore a different part of the web at this time." Sometimes they block certain things because students have nothing to do after they finish their schoolwork.
I highly recommend DO NOT use Deledao as a site blocker because they're trash.
horrible and doesn't even do good at serving its actual purpose
Deledao is nothing but an inconvenient website that blocks things I need for school. Their AI messes up all the time and it takes them forever to fix it. Teachers have barely any control over it and it needs to stop. Not to mention, it is a HUGE invasion of privacy. It tracks anything you do on your computer and is watching at all times. The only reason it's not considered an invasion of privacy is because you aren't using a home computer, the computer belongs to the schools. Stop Deledao, now.
I was new here at Monroe school playing games. But NoOoOoOo! Deledao Had To Block It! I Hope This App Will Be Deleted FOREVER!!!!!
My school started forcing us to use deleado at the start of this year, and from the start I noticed a difference, my laptop seemed slower, typing was somewhat delayed, cuss words were censored for some reason?? (We’re in high school yall, I think we can handle seeing the word shit) at first I brushed it off, but as time went on things got slower, and it all came to a head in media arts class halfway through the school year. Not only could I not open photoshop to work on my assignment, but I COULDNT EVEN OPEN THE WINDOWS APP SEARCH BAR, opening tabs took a bit to load, typing was more noticeably delayed, it was pretty much impossible to work with, so I took my laptop to the tech office, where I had to fully reset my laptop (thank god I had a flash drive with me). You may wonder WHY I had to do this, and that’s because when the IDIOTS at the district sent deleado over to our pcs, it came with a glitch that (according to the tech lady) caused it to open infinitely in the background. Literal digital garbage, I have beef with this garbage spyware, along with any district who decides to use it.
I feel that the idea of Deledao is a lousy excuse for mass surveillance. Every single time I walk over to a teacher for them to check my work. I see that their screen is covered in a dash cam monitoring everyone’s screen on their Chromebook I even saw someone doing something that was very personal for example writing an email to their parent no teacher should have access to personal information like that because there could be a family situation or just something that is not needed to know by another person. I go to a school that uses Deledao and it really really sucks. I couldn’t study for my previous ELA test because the videos I wanted to use to study were all blocked. Also the remote ability for teachers to close tabs and lock your browser is just an excuse for being lazy enough to not walk around the classroom and engage with students.
Cannot play my games and blocks everything
This app incorrectly blocks websites more often than it correctly blocks them. It also slows down Chromebooks, and generally makes them worse. TERRIBLE PRODUCT
