Cheerful attitude and answered questions thoroughly - patient as well.

I called DCU with my concern and Nora answered my call, listened to my concern patiently. Talking to Nora was a great experience, she remembered my conversation on the same concern registered in the month of May 2026 and was surprised to understand that it was not yet resolved. She took the responsibility of my issue and went above and beyond her area of expertise to find the root cause of my issue. She was empathetic and guided me on what steps need to be taken from my side and identified the steps to be taken by Collateral Management Team. I appreciate all the efforts she put in to get to the right people and call me back to provide all the updates and explain how she intends to work on my concern. I am hoping the Collateral Management Team reviews my concern and does not penalize me unnecessarily. I wish the Collateral Management Team reviews their protocol and allow Customers to talk to them directly which will enable faster resolution of issues. Nora made me feel that someone at DCU cares for my concern. Thank you Nora for everything! You have been very helpful and I appreciate it!!

Prompt customer service that goes above and beyond the call of duty! Great rates on all my accounts!

I was checking on the status of the money returned to my DCU visa CC after returning purchased product to merchant. It did not show on the balance sheet for the credit card. I called today for help and was connected to Customer service rep named Misty. The merchant credit was acknowledged in your system but not posted to the account. In less than 10 minutes Misty "snuffed out" the root cause as a zero balance on the credit card forced your system to divert the credit to my savings account. The discovery of this policy was news to both of us. What amazed me were the following characteristics displayed by Misty:
1. Perseverance- she was determined to understand the reason for the problem. It was a puzzle she was driven to solve.
2. Her demeaner was impeccable. Friendly, cheerfully inquisitive, and polite throughout the investigation.
3. Her willingness to seek out the wisdom of her colleagues more than once.
4. Joy in learning and finding a solution.

If this would be considered typical performance in your customer service, you are quite capable in your hiring methods and destined for a bright future. I witnessed customer focus perfection today and recommend promotions and raises for Misty.

I had the pleasure of talking to Tanya B, regarding a long pending service request (4 months). She has been so helpful and empathetic towards my problem and situation. Good customer servers

My customer service agent was top notch. We spoke on July 24, from 4-4:30 pm. She was patient, informative, and willing to help walk us through the steps toward solution. DCU is lucky to have customer service agents like her. Thank you!

Mi experiencia fue la mejor que e tenido en las entidades bancarias muy amable y clara al expresarse de mucha ayuda para las personas que no saben inglés y muy atenta a todos los documentos la verdad fue la mejor gracias.

I have been attempting to resolve an issue with my grandson's auto loan and have his monthly payment restored to its original amount. DCU placed lender-placed insurance on his vehicle and added the cost to his loan despite the fact that he already had valid insurance coverage in effect.

What should have been a straightforward correction has turned into one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with a financial institution. Instead of resolving the issue, I have received countless emails, and repeatedly had to provide the same information.

The level of customer service has been extremely disappointing. Many representatives have been unable to answer basic questions or take ownership of resolving the problem, resulting in unnecessary delays and confusion.

If you want to easily communicate with your auto loan company DCU is definitely not for you

Everyone is always nice on the phone at DCU but Jamie G was not only nice she helped me find a path to the loan I was seeking that 2 or 3 other reps before didn’t think of. I’m a bit of a unique situation and still learning about stuff like this, so I count on the professionals to ask the right questions and ensure all potential options are laid out. She did just that and saved me a lot of time, money, and stress.
