I have just completed my NL50 Plus Digital Skills course with DCS (Empowerment) CICs, and it has been an outstanding experience from start to finish.

As part of the second cohort, I was not sure at first whether the programme would be right for me, but by the end of week one, I was fully on board. The tutors were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping us grow. We also benefited from specialist tutors, including those from the NHS, who showed us how digital tools and apps are used in real healthcare settings. Their insight added a whole new dimension to the learning.

Our group had 100% attendance, which speaks volumes about how engaging and supportive the environment was. We covered a wide range of topics: AI, Zoom meetings, online calendars, job searches, LinkedIn profiles, were only a few. The breadth of knowledge shared was exceptional, and every session felt relevant and empowering.

My fellow classmates were equally inspiring. We encouraged each other, shared experiences, and built confidence together. The additional online support through “Learn My Way” helped reinforce our learning and move us to the next level.

If you are over 50 and want to become more digitally confident, I recommend this course. It is welcoming and practical. You will enjoy the journey and come away with skills that make a real difference.

It was an absolute pleasure, something I would look forward to on a weekly basis to meet up discuss learn about digital skills medical apps banking apps etc my skills improved by 100%.

I’m so glad I took up this course and actually wished it didn’t end.

i would like to say how much the Midlife Empowerment Programme really helped me , i felt lost and dejected after i lost my business in the pandemic 5 years ago , having lost my business and struggling with mental health issues this was the missing bridge to me finding my own self determination again and confidence to move forward in life . The Midlife Empowerment for 50+ Women Course is a confidence booster. It was inspiring and uplifting.
Carlene and Annalisa are excellent teachers, kind and very helpful. They have helped me gained Knowledge on how to update my CV and prepare for an interview. The role-play on mock interview was an eye-opener. I also find the information on Online Safety extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this Course to 50+ women who have lost their confidence going back to employment or wants to embark on a new career. It will definitely empower you.

Carlene and Annalisa were excellent presenters who took time to get to know us and our IT skill levels. They encouraged us to update our CV's and digital profiles which is so vital in the world of work. They showed me what my transferrable skills were and how they could be applied to prospective roles.
Women over 50 need this course, to help them upskill themselves and enter a new sphere of their working lives. I will continue to upskill myself in preparation for a career change and share the value of this course with others. Thank you so much ! .

I have just completed this training course yesterday and I have to say I found it to be a very informative and helpful programme. The information that was provided was excellent and helpful, such as the Learn My Way training module and information regarding online safety which I found very useful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to get back into employment because you not only learn so much while you are training but the trainers actually help you after you finish the course with mock interview practice and help with application forms once you have applied for a job.

I Attended the Women's 50+ Midlife Empowerment course for six weeks at the start of May. It was an eye opener to how important it is to keep up to date with my digital skills and how much transferable skills I already had without me realising. Carlene made me see that it wasn't the end of the road for me at this time in my life, its a new chapter, its not too late to change careers at this stage in life. Carlene and Annalisa are amazing, friendly and welcoming no judgements made. I would recommend anyone woman feeling lost wanting to rebuild confidence at midlife. I recommend this course.

I joined the Midlife Empowerment for 50+ women course in June which finished in July. I found the course is very useful. It boosted my confidence, taught me a lot of vital computer skills, prepared me for interview and ultimately helped me landing on a great full-time job. I am very thankful to Annalisa and Carlene.
