Dear Matt,Tech team,
This is the second failed Datatool unit in less than three months.
it would seem that it’s almost a week since the second tracking unit has now died and this is the second unit fitted to the motorcycle.
The motorcycle shop has continuously tried to make these units work with a new Honda Fireblade and a specialised lithium battery that has an automatic switch off. The Datatool module unit seems have internal batteries that do not last eight hours, meaning a thief would only have to remove the motorcycle battery on any motorcycle and hide the bike and wait a little time to get away with theft. I think my insurance is also invalid because of your failed unit.
The replacement Datatool module battery is now dead and the unit has stopped functioning or updating for the last eight days and you have refused to replace the unit and are still not extending the subscription. Please replace module now. Your tech team are not replying to e mails and your customer service team seem to be sending me back to the motorcycle shop that also can't get answers from you.
I hope this review helps you understand that although I have more than one subscription I seriously feel let down.

Having already a tracker fitted on…
Having already a tracker fitted on another vehicle Datatool was an easy choice. The booking process and payment was made easy by Lewis in the sales department. Although being self employed losing a full day's earnings because no am or pm can be given and the installation engineer only gave 1 hours hours notice. Giving a more accurate installation time would be much better, or weekend appointments. The engineer Dave who did the installation of the tracker was very knowledgeable and completed the install with care and efficiency.

AWFUL COMPANY !!!!!!!!!
Not even worthy of a 1 star.
Kept my money for the remaining subscription and when I questioned it, they said they dont offer refund.
Everyone offers refunds for subscription based products of you don't get the full term you paid for.
I paid for a subscription based product and never received the full subscription. Then they said you can have the remaining subscription if you buy another tracker at £359.
DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!
Going to report to the FCA & Financial Ombudsman.
WISH I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS

First hand experience with theft
My motorbike was stolen, and they helped me throughout the entire process. It was the early hours of the morning, and I had someone on the phone guiding me every step of the way. They updated the police with all the necessary information and helped me retrieve my bike. What more could you ask for?
I would highly recommend them.

A very neet installation and works well.
A very neet installation properly soldered into the harness. The technician kindly tidied up some other accessory wiring whilst he was at it.
Easy commissioning and app setup. Used the bike today and I have logs for each section of my journey.

Awful experience with this lot
Awful experience with this lot. The first engineer turned up late the first time, had to come back, was turning up late the second time, I told him not to bother. I then said I wanted another engineer who didn’t even bother turning up. What’s worse is that this morning trying to phone there’s no answer just on hold. I would not recommended at all. Happy to take your money, but support is terrible. I’ll be out after this first year. A full refund would be nice after being stung.
