Data Master saves time by transferring subject and comp data into WinTotal. It works great for the 1004mc which unfortunately many of the lenders are not requiring anymore. It does, however, show the trends for the particular market area and type and quality of home you are appraising to help the appraiser determine if the subject market is appreciating, remaining steady or declining and by how much.

Pretty good software, but amount of time saved per report, after all the necessary tweaking once data is sent and now that 1004MC is not needed, is not that much. Customer service has been great.

Application saves signifant time (hours) with data entry. Definitely worth the investment.

I started using Datamaster in Jan 2017. It has been extremely beneficial. By using Datamaster I have cut my report writing time by over an hour. I strongly recommend that any appraiser use your product.

Data master has been a life saver. Cut a full 2 hours off of my report completion process. I say to all Appraisers out there, you have to get data master. If you already use some other data entry service, just try data master, their prices are unbeatable from my experience and will really help you. Their customer service is also stellar!

Still cant get all the fields correct. Still waiting on the age to be correct for comps and actives.

I had a problem uploading condo data to my software. Repeated calls did not solve the problem. The day I asked for, and I believe his name is Rick, the president, the problem was solved in a few hours. So I had to ask for the boss to get anything done. The problem was fixed and we are happy. However, I have started doing the desktop appraisals for Wells Fargo which is a new form. After inquiring for over six months I just stopped asking if DataMaster was going to include this in the product lineup. I asked several times if this new form was going to be made available and have never received any kind of answer. I really do like the product and it has saved me time. The vast majority of the time DataMaster makes my life easier. Like any new company it appears growing pains are taking their toll. I do have faith that these issues will get resolved. Thank you all.

The product works and that's key. My issue is the cost, for what I pay, regression analysis should be included. There are similar programs that are cheaper that now integrate better than before. My key issue that has held me from switching is that I'm waiting to see if Data Master will offer some regression tools to this wonderful program.

The product is user-friendly, however, it is expensive for a data importer.

too much inaccurate information being inputted into my appraisals through DataMaster. Info from my MLS and public records source are not consistent with DataMasters sources. Very frustrating and causing me more work.

2055 and 1025 data transfer falls short of expectations. The URAR performs fairly well.

I've called twice about problems with the way the MLS information transfers to my ACI and both times it was not helpful. Data master does not input in some of the UAD format on the grid, such as site size includes a comma (UAD format does not allow commas) and the "Effective Date of Data Source" does not include a zero for months 01 to 09. Along with a few other items, that I have to immediately fix. It would also be nice if you included the cost approach like Spark does. To be honest, once Spark is available to ACI users I may switch over. Its not only less per month but includes the cost approach.
