A few years have passed but i wish to share my thoughts on the experiences I've had working with dash on two significant projects.

Firstly,the DKH for the British Cardiovascular Society. The platform, accessible at www[DOT]digitalknowledgehub[DOT]co[DOT]uk, effectively delivers specialised educational content to the cardiology community. Custom designed and hooks up to third party system for security and verification. This project was started in 2021 and we recently renewed dash's services for a 36 month term.

In a separate personal project involving the development of an iPhone and Android app, Dash Media demonstrated a collaborative approach, going beyond the role of a traditional service provider. Their understanding of project challenges and the offering of a range of suitable products showcased their commitment to tailored solutions.

One notable aspect is the level of relationship management. The presence of a dedicated account manager is a big plus to the relationship with the full team. The design approach, applied to both the website and the mobile app, has met and, in some aspects, exceeded expectations. Notably, the customisation extends beyond technical aspects, they tailor the way they work with you.

It is worth mentioning that an annual renewal aspect exists, which I wasn't fully aware of initially. However, it has proven beneficial in terms of cost efficiency over time.

In summary, Dash Media has consistently delivered comprehensive solutions, showcasing adaptability, unique design focus, and an emphasis on customisation if you need a driven solution not just an off the shelf website then use dash.

First class service start to finish, Dash designed a website for my restaurant. They executed it to a standard higher than I personally expected and that’s not to say my standards aren’t high either.

Great job from them overall and always recommend them to anyone needing a website designing.

Right from the start Chris and Anthony have been fantastic. They understood the concept and the design I was looking for. DASH came well under the quotes I have had elsewhere yet didn't try to reduce my expectation, but actually exceeded it.

I have been with dash media for 2 years now. They have made my bespoke website. They listened to exactly what I wanted, provided useful ideas of what would look good/what to avoid etc. I have complete control over the website, if I need anything changing or adding they are easy to contact, very responsive and reliable. I have complete trust in dash media, they provide a great service and I would recommend to anyone looking for a high end bespoke website design.

Dash created my landscaping website and look after my Google listings and ads. The website brings in plenty of work and my clients tell me the site looks really good.

Always helpful and gets the job perfect everytime

The team have worked with ourselves to develop our new e-commerce site from concept to going live earlier this year. We previously used an e-commerce site from a template using a domain company and found it had a number of limitations. During the build stage we were informed of different choices and we are delighted with the design and functionality. We also appreciate the guidance provided by our dedicated project manager and the web developers. The team have always found solutions to any requirements using their vast knowledge and experience and are always a phone call or email away. After carefully reviewing Dash's proposal, cost, and timeline of 14-21 days, I proceeded with the project. However, the experience turned out to be a nightmare and reminiscent of Olive O'Brien.

I have saved numerous emails and screenshots of text message conversations as a backup, all of which were my attempts to uncover the root cause of the issues I was experiencing. I expressed my dissatisfaction repeatedly, urging them to double-check their work before sending it to me. It was shocking to see the same mistakes happening over and over again.

Based on my experience, the company initially offers a reasonable price and lead time that attracts customers to sign the contract and pay for their services. However, upon further engagement, it becomes evident that the actual costs are much higher, and the lead time is not a concrete estimate. Sometimes, the lead time can be indefinite, and it's impossible to determine how long a project will take. One of their employees even mentioned that certain projects never seem to end.

I decided to renew my contract with Dash because my site was incomplete, and I was unsure how to transfer it to another firm. I attempted to maintain a good relationship with them because I felt like I had no other options, but after a few months into the new contract, I had enough and decided to leave. I have since had my entire website rebuilt, which only took less than a week to complete at a fraction of the cost.

I faced a significant financial loss due to Dash, which included not just the cost of building but also the missed revenue opportunities during the peak months of my business.

I was surprised that I had to repeatedly emphasise the importance of ensuring that the website works seamlessly on all devices, including phones and laptops, and not just the desktop they were building it on.

I experienced numerous errors that seemed never to end. I had to continuously follow up on them and take screenshots. There were missing logos, spelling errors, words stuck together, email malfunctions, and misaligned photos. I even sent them a picture of me on stage at an event, but on most platforms, only my shoulder was visible, making me entirely out of sight.

If you didn't always rush your work on my site, what else could be causing the constant errors?

In general, I was thoroughly displeased and found it unacceptable. Kindly refrain from responding with phrases such as "you tried" or that my website was complicated or one-of-a-kind. It was a basic website that you had claimed you could handle. As previously stated, I had it rebuilt within a week and encountered no problems whatsoever.

As mentioned, I saved screenshots of website images, emails, and text messages because the service was consistently terrible.

Excellent service , really went above and beyond to sort out a problem I had.

Dash Media contacted me within minutes of my listing on Bark.com going live, but they also made the best and most competitively priced of all the offers I received over the next two days. I am very glad I chose them, as they have been extremely helpful and have gone out of their way to understand my brief, which clearly paid dividends given the quality of the work I have so far received. They are also highly responsive and have been flexible with deadlines to meet my requirements. I would definitely recommend Dash to anyone looking for any sort of web design solutions.

Louis is amazing at socials , easy to work with and a great communicator

First I got my website up with the help of Dash Media. Then I started working with their social media manager, Louis Coates. I write short posts, and Louis finds the imagery to make them come vividly and beautifully to life. We've worked together closely to arrive at a look that reflects my products. I've also hugely appreciated how approachable and helpful Louis has been, and the benefit of his advice and guidance in a field that, for me, is a big learning curve.

A highly disappointing and stressful experience. I first contacted Dash Media to create a website in December 2021. The email I received from one of the directors said that the design would be ready in 14-21 days. I subsequently signed up for six other websites in early 2022. By September 2022, only 2 websites had been completed. I had stressed the urgency of the five other websites from the beginning, as they were a redesign and I needed the completed redesign before I could integrate an e-learning platform. There were several assurances throughout the 10-month period that the websites would be done by ‘x’ date. By September 2022, one had barely begun and there was still a ton of work to do on four of them. By then, I knew that I would be waiting for a long time for the redesign which would negatively impact my business and was a source of great stress. So, I asked Dash to send the site logins so that I could get another developer to do it as it was so urgent. I had already paid in full. I lost several thousand pounds to Dash for work that wasn’t done and then had to hire and pay another few thousand to an independent designer and developer to do the sites, which they did successfully and efficiently. Dash Media are very responsive when they want to sign you up and take your payment but communication is sparse after that. At one stage, I didn’t hear from my project manager for two months, despite numerous attempts to contact her. Added to this was the stress and impact on my business. There were several other issues, too many to mention in this review. I wish I had never signed up with them and hopefully, this review will inform and help others when considering Dash Media. Edit: I’d like to comment on Dash Media’s response to my review. Expecting a website to be finished in less than 10 months isn't a 'tight' deadline, particularly, as Dash said the design would be done in 14-21 days. Dash completed two websites and provided the login to the five incomplete ones that weren't live. I then had to hire someone else to finish the amount of work on the sites so that I could make them live. ‘My requirements’ were that I was promised completed websites in a couple of months and did not receive this, despite the fact I had paid them in full. As mentioned, 10 months later, I just had five draft sites. So, the only solution was getting someone else to actually work on my sites and finish them, which I did, at my own expense. Their response is what I’ve come to expect from Dash…
