Hi Elaine , thanks so much
Firstly
Firstly, the postage was expensive.
Secondly, the haggis was not your own recipe, which was disappointing.
However, the tattie scones were delicious.
Other purchases are in the freezer.

Hi Heather thanks for your comments, we try to keep our courier charge as low as we can and already subsidize what we get charged. We are very passionate about our packaging and use the most environmentally friendly packaging we can find , but this has a cost. Sorry about the haggis but we get our Haggis from a local specialist Haggis producer, and its absolutely delicious
Can't give 5 stars
Very happy with everything except the diced lamb. It was nothing like the picture and description on the website and contained big chunks of fat. Certainly not suitable for stir frying and I wouldn't appreciate the fat in my casserole either. I did call the shop to discuss but wanted to make other customers aware of the discrepancy between the actual product and what is shown on the website.

Unacceptable delay for collecting a pre ordered Aberdeen Angus steak pie
Despite placing an order online which included payment at the beginning of December for New year , I experienced a lengthy wait at the shop to get my items. I quoted my order number on arrival
Other customers came in behind me and bought over the counter much quicker.
One would have thought that prepaid orders would have been so much more streamlined in order to minimise the time spent in the shop with other customers in light of the pandemic. The shop at the time was not busy .The staff in the shop were pleasant. I would like to add that we found the Aberdeen Angus steak pie and gravy far too salty and our guests found this to be the case also. Perhaps a reduced salt pie could be a future option available to customers. We unfortunately were unable to eat the pie but felt as we had cooked it , we would be unable to return. A steak pie is not a specialist product and these were on display in the shop and purchased by other customers freely . Disappointing so won’t be returning

Hi we are really sorry you were delayed in the shop , I have spoken to the staff involved and must apologise as your order sheet had been filed in the wrong area. As your order was for a specialist product (we do not stock 2lb pies as a standard item) it would not have been available if you had not ordered in advance. The other customers were probabbly buying standard items and therefore could be served as you waited. I would also like to point out that we were short staffed at the time due to staff isolating. Again sorry for your delay.
Really nice Lorne sausage thank you- worth the 800 mile round trip
