I cannot recommend DAC Removals highly enough! They made every aspect of my move, from booking, to packing, and to the move itself stress free!
The whole team were so friendly and worked quickly but with great care, and they were very accommodating of my needs on the moving day too.
I will be using them for all my moving needs in the future, and recommending them to anyone I can!!

The team were incredibly hardworking and professional. I felt completely comfortable having them in my home and handling fragile items- as they were extremely careful and detail-orientated. They were also very particular about protecting the carpets and walls from scratches as the furniture was being moved, which i really appreciated. The team worked quickly and efficiently and I would recommend them highly to anyone moving house.

From the initial enquiry we felt at ease.
Communication and service was friendly and extremely accommodating as our timelines changed a number of times.
Storage cost is excellent with secure units and everything was then safely moved to the new property swiftly but conscientiously with extremely short notice on our part.

At very very short notice I needed a removal company and my estate agent recommended DAC. Danielle visited the property within 3 hours of me contacting them, discussed options and quotes. The quote was reasonable and within a week the job was completed. This really is a first class company. I could not believe how smoothly the move went

Items broken and lost, they do not care about your property. Don’t bother taking out their insurance, they refute everything and make you out to be a liar. Would not recommend this company at all.

The problem for me was obtaining an estimate.
Other companies had quoted a set price for the job of clearing a bungalow and then disposing of the contents.
My initial quote from dac however was a set quote for clearance but ifs and buts for disposal depending on tonnage but an estimate of what that should be.
I contacted this person to clarify and she came up with a definite figure.
The following day another person contacted me and mentioned ifs and buts around tonnage and that the figure could be more depending on the weight.
I then found myself in an unpleasant position arguing the toss about money. This was quite stressful.
Person 2 then said that the figure already given would be honoured provided a certain tonnage was not reached in which case a higher figure would be charged.
Person 3 then confirmed this and I assumed we would be billed accordingly after the job was done.
When we called to confirm the booking we were asked to pay in advance and the higher figure was charged and paid.
I was not keen to challenge and go through anymore unpleasantness.
I would just suggest that they agree on how to deliver accurate and definitive quotes like other companies. Talk to each other about decisions, generally communicate better and try to put themselves in the customer's position.

DAC helped with our house move from Aylesbury to Derbyshire. Throughout the process from delivery of packaging boxes right up to the actual move date to our final destination, they were prompt, committed, friendly, efficient and supportive at a time of need. They coped well with an unexpected and unwanted change of delivery date, were patient and understanding throughout. They managed to shift a very heavy upright piano undamaged as well! Just the service we would have wanted. They were our best partners in the house move by some margin, very competitively priced and we dont hesitate in fully recommending them.

I can't thank the team at DAC Removals enough. I was messed around by my buyer and his solicitors really badly and ended up having to try and find someone to move my furniture into store on 30 Jun 2021 - when the world and his wife were moving because of the stamp duty holiday. Between the Estate Agent and me we must have called every single removals company in Buckinghamshire and beyond! I spoke to Jo at DAC and she worked wonders for me. By booking me as the second move they were able to get me out of the house by the end of the month as needed. The team had issues with their first job of the day and didn't get to me until late afternoon. They worked tirelessly to get me out and finally left after 10.30 that night.

All my furniture was looked after brilliantly and they delivered to my new home in East Sussex as quickly as they could after we finally completed.

I cannot thank the team enough for saving the day and saving me from having my buyer pull out just to save himself a measly £3,400 on stamp duty!

Always check the fine print. If anything is broken by the team on moving day they will not replace or repair the items and cover the cost they will only give you £50 for each item, even if they cost you thousands. Definitely buy insurance and go with someone else. We were made to believe it was already included in the service provided. It's really odd, because the people who came to survey the house were professional and looked like they knew what they were doing, however on packing day two teenagers arrived and I caught one of them emptying the contents of a drawer from a height into a box. Bonkers. They didn't want your guidence to where things are going and they labelled the boxes poorly, so on moving day it was a complete gamble where boxes should go. The boxes used (which we had paid for) were from other removal companies, wine companies, product boxes etc - something I wasn't made aware of. It didn't seem very professional and not what we expected. We would have preferred to have been informed that this was for the enviroment, cause sure recycling is cool. On moving day, the wrong size vans turned up and again a bunch of teenagers arrived with no clear manager to organise and put our minds at ease, a total shambles. The team then informed us that we would need to pack up the rest of our belongings when they hadn't finished their packing job which we had paid for the day before. They didn't bring clothing boxes so this was done on the day, alongside literally about half of a house of stuff because the two teens ran out of time Total madness. I don't really recommend them, sure they're cheap, but cheap doesn't get you the service you want on one of the most important days of your life. They also made us feel like it was all our fault our belongings were broken and we should have known they would do this. Most of the team were sweet, but honestly this was the most disorganised mess of a service which is literally their only job. Packing and moving. Total fail which is such a shame as they're nice humans.

We can’t praise the team at DAC highly enough. After talking with several local companies, we decided on DAC to pack and move us. Our move was a long distance one with a requirement for a week’s storage between completion dates, so we needed to feel reassured that our chosen company could handle this – DAC filled us with confidence from the beginning.

Our move ran into a few hiccups, with our buyer pulling out at the last minute, but DAC’s calmness and “no problem” attitude turned a stressful time into a straightforward moving experience. DAC were great at keeping in contact prior to and during the move, so we always knew what was happening and that things were on track.

DAC did our packing quickly and professionally and our moving day went very smoothly – nothing was too much trouble.

We’ve already recommended DAC to some friends and they found them brilliant too.

All started well, consider your options, make sure your they fully understand your needs and what you have to move. DAC arranged a pre-move day load which went well. Promised 5 people at10.30 2 turned up as 10.45 followed hour later by 3 more people. this caused a knock on effect at the other end we finally vacated at 5.30. Luckily Our buyers were not moving in on the same day. DAC asked for my feedback I have given them my honest opinion it was not DAC's finest hour. They may refute and defend the events of the day that's their choice, this is my brief version. You will notice as with most moving companies they refer to the terms and conditions constantly I read them and complied but when your asked to sign off at the end of the day sign it with a caveat after all you never know what you will find after they have gone. Why three stars its not all bad, some of the staff are troopers, they worked hard they ultimately moved us into our house.

Moving day went really well. Team went above and beyond. Smooth and friendly service.
