Very unhappy with company's policy
I am very unhappy with the browns planes store, I was told that I could bring my rug back within 7 days, but was never told I would not get a refund or even a credit note for a future purchase. I felt I had to make a snap decision to purchase another rug so I would not loose my money. I will never return again and will tell everyone I know not to purchase from this company, I would rather go to bunnings, at least they do everything they can to make the customer happy.

We have carefully considered your review and would like to kindly point out a potential misunderstanding here. The policy (as outlined on the receipt and in-store signage) is that exchanges are accepted for product/s returned in original condition with a receipt within 7 days, excluding ‘as is’ clearance purchases.
This does to have to be an exchange for a rug but can be an exchange for a credit. Most certainly customers will receive a credit note if you were unable to find the right rug that day, often customers will simply not have time to browse on the day, so we issue credit notes. No customer would be expected to loose money, we cannot allow a customer to leave their exchanged product/s with us without taking either an equivalent value product/s and/or a credit note.

Best customer service ever. The Girl at the Browns Plains store is amazing and so helpful. Have just bought my 2nd rug from there and took my daughter there after she couldn't find anything she liked elsewhere and she bought a great large rug there.

we recently ordered two Soho Green rugs…
we recently ordered two Soho Green rugs 270x180 and our experience with Heather was pleasant, and found her most accommodating. Heather did her best to track down their locations and managed to find us two identical rugs. Heather has good interpersonal and communicative skills and is an asset to her employer. the only disappointment is the extensive waiting period of six to seven weeks. We have yet to see the rugs to review then.

We are so glad to hear of your experience with Heather and we are very happy to hear she could track down the 2x Soho rugs for you (the last 2 of this design & size). I can see she has had to retrieve these rugs from 2 separate North Queensland stores of ours and so there is a wait involved with the complimentary movement of these items through our very own private pick up service (which does not travel to North Queensland every week unfortunately). However, please note that courier of our items is also always an option so customers can have them sooner.. however, since COVID, courier charges have increased and therefore this would incur a charge.
We are excited for you to receive these items and hope you love them!
