CWWK Anmeldelser

I had a lot of older but still potent Hardware lying about (see later on in this review). I needed a test-PC to evaluate new software that I want to use on my workstation. I used AI to find a mainboard with specifications that I needed. AI suggested some well known brands, but also a mainboard of CWWK. The specs of the CWWK board (CWWK CW-M61 10GbE NAS Motherboard) fitted my needs perfectly. An ITX sized mainboard, with 10GbE onboard LAN, lots of NVME options and a LGA2011-3 socket. It does not have a TPM 2.0 header and due to its small ITX size only has room for two DDR4 modules (dual channel instead of four channel), a compromise that has little influence for the way that I am using it. In my opinion an impressive mainboard for its size and price!

In Germany this mainboard can be bought through Amazon, but it is also possible to order directly on the CWWK website. I ordered directly on their website with PayPal. The mainboard shipped immediately and arrived as quick as can be expected for a product from China (in less than 2 weeks, which is particularly good with custom clearance etc). I got a track-and-trace from CWWK and was able to follow the package the whole way until it arrived. Smooth experience.

The mainboard was well packed and arrived fully intact. Unboxing was a nice experience; the build quality of the mainboard is comparable to mainboards of for example Asus or Gigabyte. The photos on the website are a good match to the real thing.

I build in the mainboard as a second system in my Workstation. I used 64 Gb of DDR4 registered RAM, an Intel Xeon E5-2696v4 CPU, a Nvidia 3070 RTX and a Seagate FireCuda 530R SSD. The CPU and GPU are water-cooled through a custom loop. I installed Linux OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. Again, a smooth experience. The system started, was fully supported by Tumbleweed and runs as expected.

During the building I was not able to find a manual online so I contacted CWWK. Before I bought the mainboard I had already asked CWWK some questions. I contacted them by email and Whatsapp. They answered mostly within a day, which is good for the time difference between China and Germany. They send me the manual promptly.

Wrapping it all up. For me the entire process of reading about the mainboard, buying it, contacting CWWK, price, delivery process, build quality and using it, has been a 5-star experience 😊!

The mini PC I bought from CWWK was impressive in features for its size.
It did have a design issue where the daughterboard for M2 slots did not get enough power if you filled everything up (I did), and by the time I contacted CWWK to get help, they had already designed a new board that takes more power and fixed my issue.
There was an issue of a missing divider plate needed or the new daughterboard that I didn't get with my first shipment as I didn't know I had to order it, and their customer support helped me over Email and whatsapp to get me the metal divider plate I needed.
I deal with lots of chinese companies, they were a lot more helpful and prompt than most, so I'm definitely happy, thank you.

Ordered a motherboard, still have not received it, and the package shows it's been "processing" for over a week but has not moved out of the warehouse. Support is terrible and there has been 0 response whatsoever. Please do not buy.

Mes compétences ne m'ont pas permis d'arriver au bout des programmations nécessaires.
C'est Kolor Yang qui m'a finalement compris et qui m'a aidé pour un retour et remboursement.
Encore Merci.

I was sent a faulty motherboard and my emails to support have just been ignored.
