knife arrived bent. Had to pay to return it. No way to write a review on their website, how convienant.

They sent me the wrong knife, then refused to refund me when I returned the knife they sent. I've disputed with my credit card company but I am appalled at the service.

There are many places to buy good, expensiveJapanese knives. Not so many follow up with good customer service. This review is based solely on customer service.

They offer a 15% discount but signing up with email, but you never get the discount code. I have called repeatedly and spent a long time on hold with their support who had to escalate it to management still no discount and no part stay away from these guys

They sent me a rusty knife so I sent it back for a replacement then they denied sending me the replacement after I already shipped the rusty one back. Now I have lost $172 to cutlery and more that decided they were just going to steal from me. Also the same knife Is no longer available to buy. Seems kind of fishy. I wouldn't recommend this company to buy you lunch let alone buying anything from them. Very untrustworthy and scamming.

LISTEN TO THE 1 STAR REVIEWS they really mean to give 0 if it were a thing! RUN from this shit hole, more like Cutlery and Less!!!! Spent nearly 3k on a set of enso knives within a week of use they had these miniature chips all over. We immediately reached out and they asked us to send back so they can be sharpened. That is after they told me that I wasn't using them right. Ive been cooking since 5, and this shit chipped over veggies and a williams sonoma walnut cutting board. Ok, we send them back, they "sharpen" and send back. Every last one of them came back with the same chippings. WHERE ARE THOSE metal chips?! Why in our salad of course, in our soup.... THIS IS YOUR WARNING. We have told all of our friends, and continue to tell everyone to never shop here. Reporting to BBB next. Off to find a new set.

They sent me a used pan that wasn’t even what I ordered and then refused to refund me.

I ordered a very expensive cookware set from Cutlery and More in August and had pitting in one of the large pots. I reached out to them 40 days later and they told me that you have to go back to the manufacturer to resolve the problem. What good are they in the transaction? The answer is ZERO! Don't purchase from them unless you want no service and a "pass the buck" attitude. Terrible business that apparently doesn't care about customers... just their wallets. Customer's have choices and I would highly recommend taking your business (and wallet) somewhere else!

I purchased a Japanese knife, it is the sharpest knife I own, cut some garlic crown and must have angled the blade and a chip came off the blade (1/8"x3/8").
I contacted the company and the service I received from Jennifer, was just plain great.
They repaired the knife and it looks great.

I ordered a set of Messermeister Oliva Elite knives. When it arrived it was clearly an open box item. The knives were not wrapped securely in the box, they were just loosely floating around in there. Looking at the paper they were meant to be wrapped in, it was obvious the box was previously opened. The tape on the paper had been cut. The knives were not packaged in a careful way whereas the block was still in cellophane. I reached out to customer service. They were responsive but ultimately dismissive. I give it 2 stars because they did ship quickly. Extremely disappointed that I received an open box item. If I wanted open box I could have bought it on eBay much cheaper.

Long time customer who just ordered 2 All Clad D5 stainless steel pans for well over $200.Paid more for package damage item vs secon.The 12 inch pan I received had a very noticeable chip on inside of pan. Sent pictures to customer service as instructed only to be told packaging damage does not mean item will not be damaged. What? Why did I pay more money for package damage vs second quality? They had no answer but would not exchange this pan only a return. This was a shower gift for my niece. I ordered this on 4/21 and it is now 5/5. Shipping was slow! I am a loyal customer. Buyer beware

I ordered a Demeyere roaster that was on sale for $200 for a Black Friday special. It came promptly. . but I realized it was scratched up inside. After reading these other reviews I am wondering if this company gets factory seconds or returns that they sell. I was surprised to see the level of scratches on what I thought was a brand new roasting pan. . . .

Purchased and was sent German knives on two occasions (total of four) and all had imperfections clearly on the knife. Second agent was argumentative in their reply denying imperfection even though photo clearly showed that part of the writing was missing from the knife imprint; the manufacturer’s provided cover for tip was missing and box was quite shopworn. The other knife had clear defects on the handle.

The knife arrived promptly, with both the internal and external boxes perfectly intact. The knife blade had a few issues, which could not have have happened during shipping. There were scratches at the blade edge near the heel of the knife, and on both sides. Having to grind them off on the ura side was particularly disappointing.

Bought a $450 Shun knife set, first use with the Chef knife the blade chipped. Called support and they told me to send it to Shun for sharpening. It was my first use with this knife and I have only had the set for 2 weeks. Will not shop there again. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Then cost me even more money to send it back for repair. Will go back to German knives after I sell this junk on eBay.

If there was a 10 star, I would rate it so. I received a defective initial order. Then I reached out to customer service who responded immediately and promptly replace the defective Dutch Oven at no cost whatsoever. Now that, is what you call top notch customer service. They have this happy customer’s business in the future for sure.

Very bad, the store needs great improvement in customer support and delivery time.

After placing a $370 order on the website of this company (by the way, their checkout pages look like sites I was building in the mid 1990s) I was contacted by a customer service representative to be told that they could not verify my billing address. Do what?! The credit card that I used is a Capital One Mastercard Elite with a lot of digits in its limit. Not longer after the same CSR called me and I confirmed that all the information they had on file was both legit and accurate, but 6 hours later I received another email to be told that they still cannot process my transaction.
Because I am a friendly and helpful person I sent them a screenshot of my bank account (showing that Capital One had already processed the payment) and asked the CSR to speak with someone else, who is more knowledgeable about these kind of transactions (I have 10 years of corporate banking and 5 years of data privacy/ fraud detection/ IT security experience) and here comes the second suprise: I was "invited" to pay through PayPal. Do what Again?! At least I was not asked to pay through Western Union to a Nigerian prince. But how about me speaking with another person in the company? Well, that was another roadblock because apparently there's no one else in the entire "company" willing to have a conversation and review documentation.
Needless to say that I would rather shop anywhere else. Like I said, I work in data privacy and internet security and these are HUGE red flags. Good luck getting a lifetime warranty from such a company and hoping that the "high end" products that they sell are legitimate.

I have recently discovered cutleryandmore. Their selection is fantastic and they have sales on a regular basis. Over the course of 10 days I made several orders and accessed their returns department in that time. Easy (and free) returns with courteous customer service. One interesting point about this online retailer: no online account creation. You make your orders new each time. It’s easy with Google (or other browser) auto-fill for inputting information. Track your orders and returns with the emails you receive from them, no problem. Fast UPS shipping and fast answers to questions about specific products. Hooked!

I had placed multiple orders with Cutlery and More and always impressed with the selection and sale prices. I bought Enso, Miyabi, Zenmai and some sharpening accessories from them. BTW, I also bought demeyere cookware from Cutlery when it was on sale. Always quick ship and best prices anywhere. My goto site for high quality kitchenware.
