Bought a bottle of penetrating oil as I was looking to give my guitar a natural Matt finish. After four coats the finish was exactly what I was looking for. Price and deliver was spot on too.

Crimson Guitars, based in a customised factory in Dorset, is the premier UK manufacturer of both production and bespoke guitars to the highest of standards. We also make a full range of all the tools and accessories a budding luthier could want in their journey of sawdust and music and are continuously improving on and adding to our custom designs. We ship worldwide and are back at full capacity after the Covid-19 shutdowns in the UK. In our hunt for perfection, we have grown into the largest guitar building school in the world, hosting up to 500 local and international students each year in purpose designed in house guitar making courses from 2 days long to 3 whole months. While the luthiery school is still closed we expect to be open as usual in a few short weeks, we are still taking orders for and booking course dates though so please don't hesitate to get in touch.

A friendly atmosphere combined with expert knowledge and guidance. Two old dust collecting guitars are now back in action. Book a course - it is life changing !

Excellent delivery time and the quality…
Excellent delivery time and the quality of the tools is what I require. I think the scraper is going to be something I use constantly. Might take a while to sharpen it on my grinder. Bridge tool looks easy and accurate to use to achieve the necessary accuracy.

Buy Crimson Tools!
The product was shipped promptly. I am always excited to get my Crimson tools. There are designed by expert luthiers and of the highest quality. The only down side is that if I make a mistake, I can't blame the tool.

Expensive, but worth the every penny!
Reworked a PRS for me. Guitar was beautiful when it came back. Genuinely staggering. Blows every other manufacturer out of the water.

Gained valuable luthiery skills and kitted out the workshop
I attended a 2-day course on guitar set ups and found the staff, workshop and tools top notch. Wish I had done this years ago.
Some of my fellow students were from Canada and Scotland, which is testament to the reach, quality and value of these courses; which range from development of basic luthier skills, to building high end guitars and basses from scratch.
Can't wait to book onto my next course.
