Amazing Server Hosting, Even Better Customer Support
Great server hosting platform. The servers run well (despite putting them through some pretty intensive experiences) and the customer service is honestly amazing, especially for a hosting platform as the customer service tends to be slow and unhelpful at best. CreeperHost delivered and was also super helpful when reaching out about issues. We spoke to Aaron M. from support about issues and I couldn't have asked for a more kind and prompt experience. The whole ticket only lasted 12 minutes. Thank you again!

We have checked our systems and do not have any support tickets, messages, or Discord conversations from you. Unfortunately, we had no way of knowing that something was not working, or even which game or service you were referring to. Trustpilot reviews are not linked to customer accounts, so we cannot identify or troubleshoot anything from this review alone.
If something isn't working, we genuinely want to fix it. Most issues are game or setup-specific and are usually quick wins once our support team can see what you are running.

Great server provider service
Great server provider service. Been using them for years! The support has always helped me out with tech issues and it is fast to get a server going for those prompt nights you might want to start a server with friends. My only gripe are the prices get a bit much for me so I only do a burst of a month or 2. Which is fine since my friends and I usually bounce from game to game and will loose interest by then most of the time. So yeah, overall great stuff!

We are glad to hear the servers and support have consistently done what you needed, especially for those last minute “let’s spin something up tonight” moments. That fast time to play is exactly what we build around.
We also completely get the bursty nature of playing with friends. Groups move on, interest dips, then suddenly everyone wants to jump back in again. That is actually why we built Save Your World. When a service stops, we automatically package up and email your world data and keep it stored for roughly three times the length of the service period. For a monthly server, that is about 90 days. It means you can step away without worrying about losing progress, then pick things back up later if the group returns.
Our focus is on high end hardware and real support rather than cutting corners, but we try to make that flexibility painless when plans change.

Really glad to hear everything has been smooth so far. We spend a lot of time obsessing over the little things so setting up a server feels easy rather than like a boss fight.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Very simple user interface, amazing staff support (main reason i'm continuing my subscription)
Pricing could be more competitive and the website itself (not actual server) can sometimes run slow.

Thanks for the kind words about the team. Hearing that our support is the main reason you continue with us is exactly what we aim for, alongside running game servers on high-end hardware that prioritises stability and performance.
You are also right to mention the website and control panel performance. Around the time of this review, two backend issues happened to overlap. One was a brief hardware fault within our Kubernetes cluster, during which we temporarily scaled back some non-essential services to keep everything running smoothly.
The other was during the rollout of SaveGuard, a zero-cost feature we have added across all games that keeps automatic hourly snapshots of save game data. During that rollout we identified an unexpected request pattern that caused intermittent backend load. Our monitoring picked it up and we investigated and resolved it as quickly as possible.
This only affected website and control panel responsiveness. Game servers themselves were not impacted and continued running normally.
Everything has since been stabilised, SaveGuard is running as intended, and additional safeguards are now in place to prevent similar behaviour going forward.

Tried a couple different server hosting companies. CreeperHost was the best option out of all of them. They've become my default for modded Minecraft servers at this point. Their website navigation could use a little work, but fair price and great customer service

Aaron and the support team are simply amazing!
Aaron at their support is simply incredible. We run a dedicated, custom box and despite Aaron and the support team not being obliged to help us with the issue we had created on our box, he did without judgement and with haste. Incredible team and great company who clearly care more about their customers than profit!
I was considering switching a few days ago to find a cheaper provider but Aaron has ensured I will remain a life-long customer of their servers for any projects I am undertaking.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry for the trouble you experienced.
Earlier this year, we retired the option to request the old cold storage system, although the backend for it was still running for older services. Your service went through one of the last remaining places where that option was still visible. The request was accepted, but it did not complete or record your server’s identifier in our cold storage database, so the system did not notify us that the job had failed.
When your service ended on 19 August 2025, our newer backup system sent you an email containing a world download link. This link remained available until 17 November 2025. This newer system no longer requires any customer action and automatically provides a copy of your world with a 90-day download window. It was designed specifically to avoid the kinds of problems that the legacy system could occasionally cause.
Because the cold storage request did not complete and the server identifier was never recorded, and because the DNS entry was later replaced when a new service with the same name was created, we were not able to trace your old server back to any stored data, even within our own internal backups.
We refunded the cold storage charge, but I would welcome the chance to offer a more complete resolution. If you contact us through your support ticket or via help@creeper.host, I will handle this personally.

setting up vintage story was easy, installing mods from the menu is amazing (tho some UI to indicate a mod's installing/installed would be great), and the possibility to give permissions to others is super helpful

Not trustworthy
You had Sydney Australia available for my server, but put me on Auckland. Sydney is also not an option to transfer, now customer support is ignoring me. Extremely poor business, enjoy the next 2 months, make every day count.

Sydney was selected on order, but as the page explains, if a location is full at the time of deployment, the system automatically uses the next closest with space. In this case, Auckland.
If Sydney becomes available again, you can migrate across from the panel. It's completely free and takes just a few clicks. No need to start over or lose any data.
There's also a refund option available directly from the support menu in the panel. No need to contact us or wait, it's instant.
Your ticket came in during the shift handover between our AU and UK staff, so there was a delay in it being seen. We responded as soon as it was picked up.
Let us know if there's anything else we can help with.

“Random server closing” is a bit of a mystery boss without clues. We did have a blip for a small group in Los Angeles right after a hardware upgrade a few days ago; beyond that, there have been no outages on our side for the last few months.
Help us speedrun the fix; pop a ticket in with:
server name + region
when it happened (rough time is fine)
what you saw (closed, restart, timeouts)
We’ll dig the logs, bonk the gremlin, and get you smooth again.
