Redding Precision Expanding Mandrel Die – Anmeldelser

Redding Precision Expanding Die Die Body Only. Mandrels sold Separately The Redding Precision Expanding Die is engineered to give the handloader precise, repeatable control over case neck tension by accurately sizing the inside diameter of the case neck. Built on CNC machinery and heat-treated for long-term durability, the die maintains tight tolerances and consistent performance across extended use. A key feature of the system is its self-aligning design. The die body and mandrel utilize angled alignment surfaces that ensure the mandrel remains perfectly centered within the case neck, promoting concentricity and uniform expansion. The threaded retention plug and lock ring securely hold the mandrel in place while preserving adjustment settings. Precision Expanding Mandrels are machined from hardened tool steel and ground to exact diameters, clearly marked for easy identification. Offered in .0005" increments from .0005" to .0030" under nominal bullet diameter, they allow fine tuning of neck tension to match specific loading preferences and brass conditions. This is the die body only with mandrels sold separately, giving reloaders the flexibility to select the exact mandrel size needed without purchasing unnecessary components. Whether standardizing neck tension or dialing in a specific load, it provides a simple, precise solution backed by Redding’s reputation for quality and consistency.
