Although yes it was easy process; I was really given any other options but one 12 month plan. I would wave rather have paid the pay in four payments then 12 months. This option forces me to the complete buyout in 30 days which defeated the purpose of using this

Using Credova as an alternative to total out of pocket expense was helpful to budgeting. Very little time was needed to complete the process, and multiple plan options were available.

I have a love hate kind of relationship with companies like Credova. First, the good: Very fast and easy and makes possible larger purchases that I might otherwise not be able to make for a very long time. Second, the BAD: more than 100% interest and fees over the term of the loan. THAT IS INSANE! 20% WOULD BE MORE THAN FAIR. even 30% might be comprehensible, but there is no rationalizing more than that, except idiots like me will do it!

Anyone doing a gun finance needs to pay attention to the fine print. This is not financing, it is a lease and it is incredibly expensive. If you go beyond 30 days, and you want to pay it off early, you don’t save a dime in finance fees. You pay the full charge of the financing and then you have to pay a $200 fee to own the gun. You end up paying literally twice what it’s worth and there’s no way around it. I suggest you only do this if you are incredibly desperate for a gun and this is your only way. I get it, sometimes you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. I highly DO NOT recommend it. Look at other companies with a gun layaway program. They are out there.

An absolute scam. I was not able to cancel the contract. When I finally got a response from someone, I was told that I could just return the item once I got it if I wasn’t satisfied with the product or their service. Uhhh, you CANNOT return a firearm once it has been transferred in your name. If you don’t want it anymore then you will have to sell it on your own. Also, the big kicker here is that the APR is over 95%. I think it’s somewhere around 95%-99%. How is this even legal?? Thankfully when I found this out I also found out about their 30 day buy out. That’s if you pay everything off (original purchase price) within the first 30 days, then you will not be charged any interest. The catch is that it takes a few weeks for things to fully process with your account, so in actuality you only have about 14 days and then you are screwed. Just don’t do it. If you can’t afford it, then just don’t buy it. If you want to make monthly payments on something then you are better off putting it on your credit card. So surprised that I keep seeing this company pop-up on sites.

Terrible customer support; wish I could leave 0 stars. If anything goes wrong your just screwed and have no rights.
