I attended the retreat with my daughter and I have to say it was a joy from start to finish.
The accommodation was warm and comfortable and set in an amazing part of Scotland with fantastic views and walks. Pietra just made it perfect though with her warmth and kindness. Kirsten and Hazel were also exceptional with their expertise. Kirsten with magic hands giving gorgeous massages and Hazel with her gentle nature and gifted yoga practice. The activities were well planned and the timetable was full but also plenty of down time to relax.
From 2 different generations both my daughter and I had the best time and have made some lovely memories and true connections x

Pietra runs a fabulous retreat in lovely setting with fab accomadation. The programme was so well planned and the food plentiful and great she nourished us well🩷 Kirsten gave us all massages that made us float out if the room and Hazel provided us with excellent yoga practices her knowledge and deliverance was fantastic . Our joy and laughter as a group was plentiful and new friendships formed .From start to finish it was fantastic and i will teturn ..truly a fantastic time .

I have just arrived home from this Wonderful yoga retreat it was absolutely wonderful the location the accommodation the food the yoga and the Atmosphere all truly wonderful and Happy. Pietra a wonderful host ,Hazel the most professional yoga teacher and Kirsten a great Massuer, take yourself to this retreat and Treat your mind body and soul, you deserve it . Petra is a warm generous host. She goes out of her way to ensure everyone’s comfort. The accommodation is clean and comfortable .The area is rural and there are lots of walks around and about. I came away feeling relaxed and rested after the yoga . Can’t wait to come back!

Location and accommodation perfect for a retreat. Those serving - yoga teacher, sports masseuse and our host/cook Petra were spectacular. The evenings were our own but could be spent around an open fire chatting or playing games. Left feeling rejuvenated!

Fabulous host, really enjoyed my time here. Food was great, we all sat together at a big kitchen table. Pietra is very warm and welcoming and a really good cook

The main reason the retreat was so good was the people involved in it. Those who organised it and those who attended were a joy to be with, treating people of all types and abilities with respect and dignity... and laughing a lot. The yoga and meditation classes and the massages were excellent as were the food and the accommodation. The location is perfect for the event with some fine places to visit and explore. I felt energised when I left, equipped with so many great memories. I highly recommend this retreat to anyone seeking relaxation, conversation, inspiration and fun.

Petra, the Host and Organiser of the event was a star. Enthusiastic from the start of booking. I chose this place, this 3 day Yoga October retreat as I saw it was a small group retreat. It meant everyone was together included at meal times, resulting in sharing and getting to know the others on the retreat making it comfortable and a feel easy place to be.
The accommodation for me was luxury as many retreats Ive been on in my younger years were rather basic. The setting was ideal 360degrees countryside yet not too far from the local town of Dollar, Clackmannanshire.
Beautiful walks on the door step to do in the day if you wish.
Petra had a massage therapist on site and was very fortunate to receive 1 full body massage and 1 half body massage 💆‍♀️
Then there was the food and Petra was our cook and her food was yum ! and she accommodated other attendees dietary needs.
The yoga was as advertised easy going yoga but the yoga teacher encouraged all varied levels of ability.
The accommodation was spotless and warm in all areas with plenty hot water when needed.
I'd definitely go back.

Petra is very welcoming, the queen of the kitchen, the Andean Cottages are comfortable, well furnished, the shower is great with good pressure and hot. We practiced yoga 3 times a day with Rosina, starting inside and moving outdoors for the afternoon sessions. Everyone there was very interesting, easy to talk to. Not only to you practice yoga, thanks to an ex-military man we learnt how to shoot a crossboard, random but why not... I left the retreat feeling relaxed and ready to go back to the real world 😁

I had a wonderful few days with Petra and the team. Yoga was gentle and relaxing. We had amazing food and fabulous company.

I spent the day and enjoyed three yoga sessions, meditation and a massage along with some great food. A lovely bunch of people in a wonderful part of the world and I left feeling very relaxed.

This retreat was absolutely amazing from beginning to end the cottage’s are immaculate the views are spectacular food delicious and healthy, yoga was especially good for all levels and included was a massage everyone on the course was lovely so a huge Thanku to Petra/dayna & kirston for their time & effort…would love to go back one day Thanks from bottom of my heart I’m feeling like a new person ❤️🙏🥰

Petra and team made me feel so welcome. I felt looked after at a time of vulnerability and feeling lost and without purpose. The other yoga retreaters were very nice, it was easy to be open and share sincere supportive conversation. Very refreshing, feel a bit less lost. What a great spot in the world for a yoga retreat, great classes 3 times daily (some meditation too), relaxing massages, and really tastey food. Felt a lot of consideration and care gone in to planning this retreat. Really looking forward to coming back.

Everything but especially Petra who just makes it a special experience for everyone. The Yoga, food, massages and rooms were all first class just like the other guests.

It was easy to get there by bus and short walk from bus stop to estate. Petra was very welcoming and I immediately felt at ease especially after a lovely cup of coffee. My room upstairs was cosy, clean and comfortable. Everything prepared, my name was on my door and a sweet welcome letter written. The other guests came one by one and were lovely. The days consisted of 3x daily yoga, 3x healthy meals, massage and lots of fun. We also managed to go for a walk in Dollar and visited a little book store with a cafe. The yoga sessions by Julie were fantastic with meditation at the end. Still can’t believe how flexible she is! Kirsten’s massage amazing and relaxing, thank you all for this stay, this was my first one but will be back next year! This is a must for anyone who needs time to reflect, make new friends and reconnect!

Just had a wonderfully relaxing weekend with Consulting & Events. I booked in for a yoga weekend and got so much more than this. The staff are so welcoming and relaxed that they made me feel immediately at home. The accommodation is excellent, the location beautiful and the people warm and caring. Not like any yoga retreat I've ever been on before, but maybe all yoga retreats should be aiming for a bit of the special alchemy that is offered here. Very much tailored to the people on the retreat so I'm sure it will be different every time but such acceptance & warmth was a great treat. Give it a try.

I enjoyed that yoga retreat enough the first time that I went back again... and it was even better! Great fun, lovely people and good food/yoga constantly. There's a couple of interesting areas slightly out of the building as well - the Wallace Monument and the Japanese garden both fascinating. Hopefully be there again soon!

I have been attending the last retreat organized by Petra from Consulting & Events and have been employed in the past, helping out at previous events. It has been such a great experience on every occasion. Petra genuinely cares about improving each guests wellbeing and equally cares about her coworkers, such as yoga teachers, like myself. The food is always amazing, the location gorgeous and the time we all spent together was filled with laughter, peace and serenity. I can truly recommend booking one of Consulting & Events retreats as well as working with Petra.

This was my first retreat and was not sure what to expect. I needed to get away from my stressed filled life which was having a negative impact on my health. From the moment I drove into the car park the friendly faces that greeted me lifted my spirit and I knew from that moment that I was going to get what I needed and was in the right place. The organiser and the yoga teachers were all down to earth people who knew intuitively each and every person’s need. They pitched it very well and provided us with delicious healthy meals, one to one support, yoga sessions, group chats and a wonderful therapeutic massage. I will always treasure an evening where we laughed so much we cried, brilliant for the soul. As I write this I see all the faces of the lovely people that i was fortunate to meet and who touched my life in one way or another and I thank you all. I feel blessed. If anyone out there is contemplating a retreat I say go for it, it’ll be the best decision you make in ‘self care’.
