My aunt got one a while back and she’s who introduced me to the company. My first was the Poppy Sling and I LOVE IT. Worth every penny. The hardware is high quality and has a nice, heavy feel. The stitching is impeccable. The style is easily recognizable, Consuela has a definite look. Bold, colorful if you like or more neutral if you prefer. The prices may seem high, but Afterpay is an option.
I’ve also purchased the starry cosmetic case, a couple of grab n go totes as gifts and a basic bag that makes a really cute reusable shopping bag.

Returns are easy. I recently bought a bag I thought was perfect . I got it online at the Consieal Style website. I don’t love it like I feel I need to for $275. I got the Steely Iptown Crossbody and I’m just kind of meh about it. It’s a very nice bag, the textured leather is beautiful. Of course, it is well made. I’m just not pleased with the strap it comes with or the fabric inside. It’s also a little bigger than I wanted, I guess I mis-measured. I mean, I did spend 10 years married to someone who had me convinced a microorganism was 8 inches.
Anyway, you likely will not be disappointed, but if you are, it’s easily fixed. Do it. Get one!
Consuela is a fair trade company. The history is worth the read. The ConsuelaCloth bags are wonderful!
I can’t remember the date of my first exposure or my first purchase so I picked my birthday. I had my sling amd cosmetic case for sure at that time.
