Comfortscan were brilliant. We needed an ultrasound for our teenager, for suspected appendicitis. Despite one GP saying he thought an ultrasound was needed, JR and A&E both declined to do one. We were told it would take several weeks to get one done on the NHS and no-one in Oxford does ultrasound scans for under 18s. We found Comfortscan online yesterday, read their reviews, booked and they arrived exactly on time at 10am this morning. They were very thorough and walked us through what we were seeing, explaining as they went along. The scans showed up by email a few hours later. This is a great service, much needed. Thank you so much.

As a very overweight individual I've had a really long winded time getting suitable hospital transport. With the NHS not offering at home scans I very fortunately came across this company. Is spent 8 weeks on a severe state of stress and depression to find out of my liver was in a state or cirrhosis and I was terrified.

I happen to be on the phone to my Dr at 9am and was told I need to get a scan done and she would phone on the afternoon to see if there was an alternative option. I got off the phone and called up. Within 90 mins they had traveled 50miles to my home, completed the scan and we're very kind and helpful, answering my questions and giving above and beyond to get the scan needed. I got the scan photos back with a report hours later and when my doctor phoned back I told her the scan was done and I would email the photos and report over.

She was utterly shocked at the speed and so was I. A top class service at a reasonable price. Would use again if needed.

From start to finish the level of service has been excellent. I made an enquiry at 11pm on a Saturday evening and by the Monday had the scan carried out.

Shazia is very knowledgeable and was very informative through the process. I would absolutely recomend their services and will use them again if I have a need.

Not having to leave your home too is a huge plus.

Booked an ultrasound for my newborn for reassurance purposes. Received a response from the team the same day and an appointment at my convenience a few days later. The sonographer attended my home in a timely manner, was very professional and thorough in her assessment. Really pleased with the service and would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing experience using this company!! After no luck in getting an urgent ultrasound at our local hospital, I searched on Google and thought I’d give this business a go after becoming desperate for answers to why my 4 year old was in so much abdominal pain.

I contacted at 2am and heard back at 6.30am with an appt booked in for 9am. Blown away by the speed and willingness to help at such short notice especially it being the day before Xmas Eve!

I am so glad I found this clinic. After a lot of sleepless nights worrying about the worst of the worst, I needed a scan for reassurance that would take months to get through the NHS.

They managed to book me in within 24 hours, they even offered to come on the same day as they knew how important it was to me. The "serious" possibility was ruled out, with thorough explanation of what they would see if it was that, and they identified the reason for my discomfort, which I have discussed with my GP and they are going to act on quickly.

The comfort scan team are so personable, so kind and nothing is too much trouble. They customised a scan just for me as I wanted to see specific areas that didn't warrant full scans of that particular area, the report came through within 8 hours with a summary of what is required next care wise for the GP to act on.

Just brilliant - they will be my go to for any future scans.

We used Comfort Scan to help ease our mind with what the paediatric consultant had told us the previous day, with the long waiting times for scan via the NHS this was the most convenient option, loved the fact they came to our home on a Sunday to help with our Three week old daughter.

I recently had an ultrasound done at home to check for potential gallstones, and I can’t recommend this company enough! The sonographer was incredibly friendly, professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped calm my anxiety. The whole experience was comfortable and stress-free — and to top it off, the service was surprisingly affordable compared to going to a clinic. I’m so grateful for their kindness and convenience!

It was easy to select the scan required and make an appointment with a good choice of dates. The scan was done at home as planned and the service was very friendly. Explanations were given throughout and I was able to view the screen as the scan was done. Shazia and Shahid went out of their way to make the report available immediately for my imminent hospital consultation.

The fact that I booked late Sunday afternoon, had a scan in the evening and a report the next day was outstanding. Dr. Shazia is warm and friendly and offers information. Very kind and shows compassion and empathy

The comfort scan was very comfortable no pain or difficulty at all. Everything was explained really well to me. I could see the pictures of the scan. Clearly I was made to feel totally at ease and I would thoroughly recommend the comfort scan it’s well worth the money.

Due to NHS not diagnosing me properly I found out that remote ultrasound service. It was worth every penny. I finally found what was causing me pain and I was relived. Shazia was lovely and so professional. I’ve never had so nicely done ultrasound with such compassion from the team. There is no words to describe how lucky I was to find that clinic. Because of Shazia and her team I was finally able to sleep without worrying about my condition. Highly recommend !!! 🙏🙏🙏

It was so easy to book and the Sonographer was lovely and professional and put me at ease, explaining everything very clearly. I also had the full report and images the same day.
This was an amazing service and worth every penny!

I booked a scan late on a Friday evening and was able to get an appointment for the following day. The scan was carried out in my home. All went very well and the doctors that performed the scan were very lovely. I got a detailed report and all imaging sent to me the same day as the scan.

I've been struggling with abdominal pain of unknown cause for months, on top of being a recurrent kidney stone former. Despite ongoing communications with my GP and hospital, waiting lists for scans and treatments are ridiculously long and I've been left floundering around with pain, uncertainty, and associated anxiety. I decided to try Comfortscan to see if this could help understand what's going on in my abdomen, and also to have a look at my knee at the same time. Shazia was so professional, knowledgeable, thorough and kind, and within minutes could tell me the latest with my stones, reassure that there was nothing scary in my abdomen (ruling out any obvious fibroids, lumps, tumours etc), and also provided insight into my knee pain too. The follow-up report and scans was excellent too, and all at a reasonable price. I'll definitely not hang around again in future when it comes to my health - it feels so reassuring to know that I can have a scan at any time, at short notice if needed, in the comfort of my home, and get the insight needed to make informed choices about my healthcare. Fantastic service from Shazia at Comfort Scan! I have been struggling to find answers for an unexplained foot pain I have been experiencing for months now. After the pain spread to my leg, I decided to explore a private ultrasound scan to avoid long waits through the NHS. Shazia was extremely helpful and replied to my initial email within an hour, advising me what type of scan would be best based on my symptoms. She booked me in for the following day and was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with getting to the bottom of my pain by undertaking a vascular Doppler scan. Thanks to Shazia, I know have the correct information to take to my GP to investigate the problems further. Shazia and her husband were on time, well equipped with all the relevant equipment and cleaning products, polite, friendly and most importantly able to answer any questions I had. This is a fantastic service and the fact that they are mobile and come to your home made it very convenient for me to fit around working from home. The service was very quick to book, easily accessible and affordable. I would absolutely recommend Comfort Scan and would definitely book again if I require additional scans in the future!
