This is an awesome app for managing your pension contributions and pension planning more broadly! As someone who's relatively new to pension planning, I found the app extremely intuitive and helpful for demystifying the complexity of it all and helping add transparency to my investment decisions. I especially love the focus on sustainability, a matter that is really important to me!

The product looks really good: 100% insured, ESG by default, lifestyling, costing a lot less than wannabees like Penfold Pensions and Raindrop. But, unfortunately, the ethics don't extend to the terms and conditions: it appears the founders don't understand that valid UK laws have to be both reasonable and symmetrical for the client. The current terms and conditions are littered with £500 costs for this and £250 + VAT costs for that, 'which you agree to pay within 7 days'. Compare that with just about any other set of terms, e.g. AJ Bell, Aviva, Aegon, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, L&G - none of them have such a draconian and amateurish approach to the terms and conditions. The terms refer to Scheme Rules on the 'Legal' page, but they are nowhere to be found. There is also a broken link when you look at the investments and no KIID for the investment funds. Such a shame! The app, forcing you to look at what your retirement is worth all the time in materialistic detail, is also potentially annoying. The product could also be improved by following Standard Life and Scottish Widows in offering higher risk lifestyling options (not just a fixed higher risk option); de-risking starts at 20 years and 20% equities at the end of the lifestyle is arguably too low. Also, it would be nice if active management were either blended in or offered as an option (both for stock selection and for the asset allocation - maybe 20% equities in retirement suits the business cycle, maybe it doesn't, but why fix it arbitrarily to 20%?).
